Fury lost almost every rd from 7-12 and got knocked down. The ref saved fury. If the ref hadn't come in there was 20 seconds left usyk would have koed fury.
It was funny when Turki asked AJ just before the reading of the scorecards what he thinks. AJ though he is joking, and said Usyk easy, daah… Turki asked - Can they both be the winners? - :lol1:
Commentary and Fury showboating (which he does to impress judges) made it look like a semi close fight. Realistically, it wasnt that close at all. Turn down the volume and rewatch the fight. After 6, the most reasonable score is 3:3. Usyk was clearly winning the early rounds (he was the aggressor + landed better shots in the first 3; what else could have he done). After 6, one struggles to give anything to Fury. Maybe the 11th
It was 8:4 Usyk without a KD; maybe 7:5 if you are generous to Fury (closer to 9:3). Giving a decision to Fury is disgusting. I hope Usyk considers retiring now. No need to prove anything else, and being used for AJ-Fury. Let them make that fight without robbing you.
Usyk started the 12th better, Fury finished it well. I scored it for Fury but could see it scored both ways.
The judges disagreed on 2 out of the first 3 rounds, so did the punch counts, so yeah they were swing rounds.
As you have no actual reposte, I'll leave it there.
Yeah one judge scored for Fury also
a did you agree with that ?
I don't like when refs step in like that during a big fight.
These are two champion athletes, let them battle it out until someone goes down or the bell rings.
Notice how there's conflicting conspiracy theories as well. Some saying "they" tried to rob Usyk. Fury claiming "they" gave it to Usyk because of the war.
I know those with a predisposition to conspiracism can never accept this, but there is simply too much individual agency and chaos in the world for any secret group to control everything. Even at the low level of a boxing match.
Yeah man. Besides, the rematch is already scheduled. So what is the reason to try to rob either?

The right man won that’s what mattered. I think it was right for the ref to call a standing 8 count since fury was just getting save by he ropes. But yup it saved fury but nothing corrupt about it, it just happened he got hurt in the final minute of round 9. Had it been earlier then fury gets KOed
no robbery. I would have been fine with either guy winning a close fight. That word robbery is thrown around when the favorite fighter of someone loses. The REAL robbery almost occurred tonight if they would have gave Navaratte that decision for doing nothing.
Rounds 1, 2 , 3 swing rounds ???
Fury definitely won the 12th round
Not sure what you were watching but hey ……

Nah close fight.
Fury def won rd 4-6
usyk def won rd 8-11
Rd 1,2,3,7,12 are all swing rounds.
So when you have that many swing rounds, you are going to get varying scorecards
I personally had it 7-5 Usyk, but i gave Usyk most of the early rounds and rd 7, but there was literally nothing in them

Turki made it clear that Fury was favorite before the fight, so of course they did. Saw that coming miles away. I'm surprised the right man still won, TBH.
