Clearly won the last 2 rounds. Clearly lost 3 rounds and 7 rounds are completely pick em rounds you impossible cant give to anyone with confidence. Inoues only clear roundsare due to the Cut and impaired vision of Nakatani.
Rematch must happen
Right on. I’ll rewatch it when it drops, but I saw Inoue take it.
Props to the ref, good stoppage. Matias was done they just showed a different angle into Matias eyes, he was done. Congrats to Smith, I saw him beat Chon Zepeda and chalked to Zepeda being done.
Anybody defending Tigondeaux is an idiot.
I've never seen. Fight were the fighters didn't hug at the end, Ricardo refused to hug that ***** with good reason.
He ran, not moved but ran from the 6th after getting dropped. Lost every rd in the process.
It was pretty much a given top rank gave him the fight because he was seen as a potential cash cow, that was 2 PPV that Cuban botch ruins with jos nonsense.
**** rigkndeaux with a aids infected dildo and any judge that gives him that fight.
Córdoba was robbed.
No no fucc no.
Kendall Holt in his prime struggled with Ricardo Torres and other B Level fighters.
Outside of early in his career, Floyd and some robberies Pac ain’t never been beaten like that.
He ain’t ATG, just a very good fighter.
He did beat Jermain Taylor but Taylor was bailed out with the draw IMO.
He does have wins over Trinidad and Mosley but not enough to be ATG.
Lost to a green Fernando Vargas.
Wright is just a damn good fighter. Nothing wrong with that.
It’s not a sustainable model...
It’s an interesting concept but they’ve invested in the WRONG people.
Linking up with a charlatan like Hearn who doesn’t understand the US market or boxing business was a major mistake.
He really is clueless, you can tell by the fighters that make up his US roster.
Working with Golden Boy helped and gave us some great fights. Golden Boy matches real
Competitive in house and gives good scraps.
DAZN is awesome but right now all Sports Are struggling. Mexican soccer just said season done, Only Costa Tica has an active league and let’s not say all US sports.
People hate on DAZN for whatever reason but it’s awesome and unfortunate this is going down because it affects boxing.
Timmy has fans but you turn heads with kos or over the top personalities.
Timmy has neither. Just a solid fighter that dominated Juan Manuel Marquez as a high point.
Anthony Joshua is Nigerian and Andy Ruiz is Mexican.
Why is that so hard to understand?
Nigerians love Joshua and Mexicans loved Andy. His performance in the rematch lost a lot of fans but he don’t stop being Mexican.
Lomas easily one of the best fighters we’ve seen out of our generation.
He skyrocketed to the top beating the best fighters available.
Terrible troll thread, below average, 🚌
Winky Wright is clearly an all-time great and one of the best super welterweights of all time.
He was an undisputed champion. In fact, he’s the only one in the division since the start of the three belt era in the early 80s. He beat so many names, despite being avoided his whole career. He only lost to greats and was also the number two p4p fighter for a time.
Losing to Vargas when he did isn’t sickening. Vargas was a top 10 p4p boxer before the Trinidad fight and the odds in that fight were even very close. Vargas outclassed Ike Quartey, the same Quartey who many believe deserved a win or draw against De La Hoya in his only loss at that time. If the 20-0 Vargas that beat Wright was placed in today’s times, he would be the number one p4p boxer in the world and clearly have the strongest resume of anyone. Vargas-Wright was also incredibly close and I believe HBO scored it for Wright.
Super Welter has had some great fighters.
Would you put Wright over
Hearns, Mccallum, prime Trinidad?
Does winky beat a prime Trinidad at 154? The same Trinidad that ruined David Reid?
They only got 2 ages different and the rest seems to have rejuvenated Gonzalez.
I used to pick Estrada but Gonzalez was clear as day, he wants to unify and he can. He is easily the best at the weight and ATG.
It’s all opinion but Slappy Calzaghe with quicker hands than Pacquiao, Camacho, Meldrick Taylor?
Not then Not now not never. I’d rank Lomachenko over Calzaghe. Loma made the smaller Rigondeaux quit. Hopkins arguably best slappy to the punch.
Calzaghe shouldn’t be on that list IMO.
I am calm Horatio
That's right, compare my record with Pac's to get a feel on how worthy it is :lol1:
Just show everyone up to this point, all of the great wins Pac was in.
Spending time name calling me won't make his resume any better.
I’m not sure if this is a response to my quote but you are asking me to name his impressive wins? Gladly those that impressed me.
Chatsai Sataskul to win WBC flyweight
TKO Nedal Hussein
TKO Marco Antonio Barrera
TKO Erick Morales
Knocked out Hoya, Hatton, Cotto
And recently beat Keith Thurman.
I didn’t mention his wins over Marquez, Bradley, Margarito, Matthysse, Mosley, Clottey, Jorge Julio because the ones above impressed me the most.
That speed, power, strength is what makes Manny so great.
Why are you taking the time to discredit a legend that makes our beloved sport great?
Do you not consider boxing great?
