And still Pacman is still fighting now, operating at p4p level, eventhough way past his prime. For the cry baby fans, name one fighter at the west side of his career that comeback from this type of knock out.
Arguably speaking, yes. Pac still operating on p4p level, maybe not top 5. Solid wins over algeiri, Bradley and Vargas. I don't think many of the top welterweight would have an easy time with these guys.
It would be nice if pac can fight the likes of thurman, spencer, brook. But those guys belongs to a different generation, you can not expect him to go through that again. But there is talk that Crawford could happen, if it does pac deserves major props.
This is dumb, in the street you really don't want to be on the ground, somebody will smash your skull from behind and there is nowhere you can defend that. Dumb dumb dumb
Watching it the first time I have ward winning 8-4.
But after I visit the forum and read the poll, I rewatched it again and come up with Kovalev winning 9-3
It's hard, what's the definition of ATG, is it top 20 fighters? Top 50? Top 100?. I'm just going to make up my own definition. For me top 50 are ATG. Top 100 is great. In that case he is a Great
With the pot of $31.5M, a $10m offer to GGG seems to be in line with the reasonable 70-30 split. Unless the live gate and international rights bring in huge $$, golovkin purse will not go much higher than the proposed figure.
None of the 2 brings lots of casual fan. So the most buys will come from Mexican. The truth is the same as cotto canelo, so the numbers shouldn't be that much different
That's what I thought as well, it will do around the same number as Cotto Canelo give and take 100k or 2.
If that is the case the $10million offer doesn't seems to be outrageously low as some has posted. Eventhough a 70-30 split still a fairer option.
The standard breakdown as far as money is concerned is a 10% fee off the top for the distributor, with 45% each for the cable system and the promoter.
So according to the poll, the fight will do around 1M, with a price tag of $70 a pop, the revenue will bring $70M. 45% from that goes to the promoter which is around $31.5M.
There are other revenue like international rights, live gates, merchandise and casino site fee.
To counter that there are also expenses like undercard fighters fee, promotional fee and promoter's cut.
