dont rule out pacquiao beating him. I thought it was a massacre to begin with in terms of canelo walking through him but the more i think about it im not sure it is. Although pacquiaos hardly slick, hes more than good enough to fight this fight as a 'boxer' rather than the aggressive fighter he is usually. Canelos not some beast, he was twice the size of mayweather and he still lost every round. Wouldnt be shocked if pacquiao takes this on points by throwing punches in punches and moving out the way quick, it would have to be his next fight though cause hes getting further from his prime by the day
Floyd fought him in 152 ,if manny would i give him that ,but in 155 he have no chance ,Manny felt Margo shots are hard as **** ,and Canelo is heavier and much faster ,KO to 7th, boxing with Canelo is worst he can do ,his not Floyd not even Cotto ,Pac need to lead or counter from backfoot ,but not box inc, btw i would Love Canelo-Floyd 2 in 155 or 160 (you are also missing the fact that Floyd is much bigger then Manny)
Pacquiao looked close to shot last time out. Vargas still wasn't good enough to win mors than a couple rounds.
But canelo.is huge at his chosen weight and he'd beat pacquiao at this stage. However his activity and punch volume is pretty low so I'm not sure how he'd do early on. I'd envisage a late stoppage. Around round 10 rather than 5.
Absolutely he would. It would take Alvarez a while to break him down. Probably looking at a stoppage around the 9-10 mark when the damage Alvarez's size does is showing badly on Pac.
I seriously doubt it. Canelo weighs 170 to his 150 on fight night. Pacquiao is a very aggressive fighter and that would be his undoing against a much bigger fast handed power puncher. Canelo is just entering his prime while Pacquiao is 7 or 8 years past his. It's not a fair fight and it's a fight that will never happen anyway so why worry about it?
