Causal boxing "fans" and Tards alike had Miadana winning. Shocker.
The vast majority of the boxing community / actual boxing fans had Mayweather winning.
niiiice...wouldn't that be some sh1t if these two assh0les were really friends in private and have just been trolling us since 09?

Isn't that what Big and Tupac did.. lol
All this arguing over numbers is a joke. It's got people actually complaining because one company puts together a GOOD undercard.
I don't give a damn if your name is Pacquiao, or Mayweather, or what the fuck ever. To get 900,000 people to sit down and pay $70 to watch you, is amazing.
The tards are just mad because they went on a crusade to get people to boycott boxing while ending up missing a great and exciting fight.
It wouldn't matter if the numbers had been 1.5 million or 500,000 they would be in here crying.
At the end of the day, these cowards tried to get people to boycott boxing. That's all anyone needs to remember about that fake "fan" base.
Haha, I'm close. I'm in Guam right now. It's 8 in the morning and about to work out... but might go enjoy a beer on the beach.
Stop by the G-SPOT. $1 will get you a long way! Or hit up "Don't Tell Momma's"... Either or.
Round 1 - Maidana
Round 2 - Mayweather
Round 3 - Maidana
Round 4 - Mayweather
Round 5 - Maidana
Round 6 - Mayweather
Round 7 - Mayweather
Round 8 - Maidana
Round 9 - Mayweather
Round 10 - Mayweather
Round 11 - Mayweather
Round 12 - Mayweather
The first half was interesting but Floyd took over in 6 and 7 and I could have easily given him round 8 as well. Floyd lets his hands go and lands a nice combo that could have easily stole him round 8. However I gave it to Madiana even though the low blow in the middle of that round was the turning point.
Round 9 is when Floyd really started controlling the fight and was making Maidana miss and look bad doing it. It was cringeworthy watching Maidana throw his punches at this point. Let alone lead with his head and hitting below the belt.
Overall Maidana was getting tagged pretty badly in the later rounds and lost 9, 10, 11 and 12 worse than any of the other rounds.
116 - 112. Mayweather.
Pac needs to let the promoters fight for him on a fight to fight bases. Signing with Bob will only hinder his career more and keep the fans from the best fights.
Bob has already admitted to blocking big fights. Time for Pac to become a man and make his own decisions. He's a big boy and doesn't need someone telling him when and where to jump any longer.
Talk is talk... lets hope this "talk" is just like Pac's "talk" of "agreeing" to blood testing for nearly 4 years. It was all talk but no action.
lol its not moot you were making it out like 575 million was nothing and you could just be a millionaire to buy one lol. dude you have to be a billionaire to afford to buy a team worth 575 million straight up. do you know the type of other expenses you have to pay to just purchase a team? Floyd is worth like $150 million total, he is going to need billionaire backers to buy the team and he will only be a minority owner.
No, I wasn't making it out to be nothing. I clearly pointed out that the team is not worth billions. Who really thinks Floyd would buy the team without anyone else in the first place? I never said Floyd would straight up buy the team either.
All I did was point out the team is not worth billions but millions. Floyd can very well buy a large portion of the team. All this nonsense about what the NBA owners will and will not do is moot. The team isn't worth billions and Floyd has the assets to buy a good size portion of the team and he's not a billionaire.
It's moot in the sense that they're not gonna oust one racist owner just to have another be part of the new ownership. That's not the only hurdle either, not only would the league not allow it the owners of the NBA would never allow it since their approval is needed when ownership of a team changes.
Your speculations about what the NBA owners will do is moot.
I wasn't talking about the owners or what they will or will not do. I simply pointed out that the team is worth millions, not billions.
Nice try though.
The poster you initially quoted didn't specify whether it was sole or part ownership.
I honestly don't understand why you keep saying it's "irrelevant to my post"
Nobody mentioned "sole ownership" but you. Me mentioning NBA owners was because you made an irrelevant comment that had absolutely nothing to do with my original post. Clearly. Show me in my original post that had anything to do with NBA owners.
The owner of the Clippers bought the team for like 18 million back in the 80s. They're worth like $300 million now.
This is millions, not billions.
They're actually worth quite a bit more. According to this source they're worth 575 million and are the 13th most lucrative franchise in the NBA.
Forbes - Los Angeles Clippers
They also mentioned on ESPN a few days ago that the team is worth around $700 million now. This is a moot point though since the NBA would never allow Floyd to be part of any new ownership group given his publicized history of racism.
What does my original post have to do with this? Also note how I cleared up an speculation on what was being discussed.
No, I wasn't making it out to be nothing. I clearly pointed out that the team is not worth billions. Who really thinks Floyd would buy the team without anyone else in the first place? I never said Floyd would straight up buy the team either.

Next time, don't speak unless spoken to.
Floyd after a few games:
"Don't be sociatin wit dem white mafuckas you high price hoe! Dey be smellin diffrent den black folk'"
That would be the irony of it.
I can see it now, the preview in the All Access; Clippers.. Floyd trash talks other teams and how they don't know boxing.
They're actually worth quite a bit more. According to this source they're worth 575 million and are the 13th most lucrative franchise in the NBA.
Forbes - Los Angeles Clippers
They also mentioned on ESPN a few days ago that the team is worth around $700 million now. This is a moot point anyway since the NBA would never allow Floyd to be part of any new ownership group given his publicized history in the area of racism.
It is moot were not talking about billions but millions.
Also note, Floyd's "history" won't stop anyone from doing anything. If you think the Clippers owner is the only bad person who owns a team, you are clearly ignorant.
I heard today that there is a bylaw that allows other owners to vote on stripping Sterling of his ownership and the team run by the NBA till a new owner buys team.
Sterling is a lawyer though so this wont be easy.
Anyway yesterday me and the wife joked about buying team but since we arent Floyd it didnt make the headlines
Classic...
It certainly appeared that way to me since you're trying to present supposed facts to another poster without a source.
Clearly it did since you responded with this. You're clearly implying that his history wouldn't impede his ability to be part of a new ownership, which I clearly disagreed with.
Clearly you are trying to flip this around since you realized all of your rants are moot.
This has nothing to do with the fact that the team is not worth billions but millions. You know it. I know it. But keep ranting on about the NBA owners and how they don't allow bad people to own teams.
Carry on.
You presented an imaginary number off the top of your head in response to another poster regarding the actual worth of the Clippers and I felt compelled to try and rectify it.
My second point was a response to your asinine way of thinking that the NBA would completely disregard Floyd's shady history and allow him to be part of a new ownership. I can assure you, his history "will stop him from doing anything" in regards to being part of an NBA franchise.
No it wasn't just an imaginary number. I read about it earlier today and despite being off/wrong by about 200 million, I only recall the story because I remember it being significantly lower than what I would expect a team to be worth. I don't watch the sport and couldn't care any less about it. I just remember the number being lower than expected. Millions, not billions.
Again all of your speculations about what the NBA owners will and will not do is moot. Has nothing to do with what I posted. Clearly.
You have to be a billionare to buy a high profile NBA team. Floyd ain't a billionaire
/thread
The owner of the Clippers bought the team for like 18 million back in the 80s. They're worth like $300 million now.
This is millions, not billions.
Actually I'm not. I never said the franchise was worth billions. I never even tried to dispute that matter. You tried to present some "number" you read somewhere from x days ago to try and make a point. I presented a more accurate number as to what the Clippers actual value is.
You then tried to make some backhanded comment about how Floyd's public perception as a racist wouldn't impeded his ability to be part of a new ownership and I disagreed.
:fing02:
A number that was fairly accurate as appose to being worth billions. The point of my original post.
You can disagree to such but it doesn't change the fact that it's moot to my original post. Clearly. :boxing:
Sorry, but no it's not. You'd be hard pressed to find a sole owner of an NBA franchise that isn't a billionaire.
Below is the quote you're referring to and nowhere in it do you state Floyd's ability to be part owner. You're simply stating the franchise's worth, which is completely wrong.
Nope. My responses after correcting your intial attempt to put a number on the Clipper's net worth was in response to your backhand comment about Floyd's history of racism not playing a significant role in his ability to be a part of a new ownership group. You seem to either have selective memory or just refuse to acknowledge what's in front of you.
I think it would be common sense to any person that if the NBA kicks Sterling to the curb that they'd vehemently refrain the approval of the franchise's sale to a new ownership group that has a public figure with a history of blatant racism. It would be like the NBA allowing Bill O'Reilly to be part of the new ownership group after Sterling.
Nope, you're talking about sole ownership, nobody made mention of sole ownership but you. In fact I talk about part ownership in another post following my original post.
You also brought up the NBA owners and how you think they only allow good people into the business. Completely irrelevant to my post.
I know you know you're wrong which is clearly why you must insist on bringing up the NBA owners and what you think they will or will not do. Let alone the new topic of "sole ownership".
Floyd will never fight him so that's not a consideration, he's been shook.
However, TR have a limited stable, this isn't good for boxing fans.
Mayweather vs Cotto.... how easily one forgets when they have an agenda. :dunce:
Ignorance still runs deep around here..
I think you greatly misunderstood the poster you initially quoted then. He never said the Clips were worth billions either. He stated that you needed to be a billionaire to be the sole owner of an NBA franchise, which is more or less accurate in today's age.
As far as your initial stab at the Clippers worth, you were nowhere close to being accurate. You said 300 million when they are worth twice that.
You can think its moot even when its not. I didn't make the backhanded comment about Floyd's ability to be part of an NBA ownership given his shady history, you did. I merely responded to it in disagreement.
Thats an opinion. I simply pointed out that the team is not worth a billion and that Floyd wouldn't have to be a billionaire to be part owner. Simple as that.
All the other nonsense you brought up was moot. You just added that in because you needed another reason to discredit the subject. It was irrelevant.
However it's nice that you think the NBA owners don't allow team owners to be bad and that all the current owners are saints. No bad people in the NBA, check! :boxing:

Mayweather's Gloves.

I believe the unapproved custom gloves are the ones Floyd got to see. The red approved ones apparently are different. Did Floyd not see the red ones that Maidana is supposed to be wearing?
