I'm rewatching the fight right now, when I first watched it I saw a really close fight early, but on this rewatch I'm thinking that the crowd fooled the judges into thinking Hatton was landing when he wasn't. I'm seeing shots go off of Floyd's gloves and the crowd cheering like he just knocked him down.
Yeah...... sure. This 5'6" midget(he's a midget by NBA standards) would be an NBA "star". The shortest position on a basketball court is loaded with guys who are 6'3".
He won't pull out. Like the writer said, too much money involved. Plus, if the fight is at 147, why is Floyd worried about weight? He can make that easily.
Yeah, after the fight would probably suffice. What counts as "Close to the fight"? 3 weeks? I'm not up to par with my knowledge of performance enhancers, but I doubt they have stuff that would clear the bloodstream in three weeks.
Pac would knock out Whitaker in a easy victory.........
Then dismantle Marvin Hagler with ease...right before knocking out Tommy Hearns.
:grumpy:
He'd have made Roberto Duran "No Mas" right after the opening bell.
IMO the best thing he can do is put the pressure on Floyd from the opening bell and don't stop until one of them is on the ground. Ricky Hatton did that to Floyd, andit was pretty effective for a little while until Floyd got used to it. Oh, and Manny is a million times better than Hatton. I think Manny's best chance of winning is by a relatively early KO. The longer the fight goes on, the bigger Mayweather's advantage will get.
If he tests negative, that's the end of that. Can't get much tougher than Olympic style drug testing. He takes the test, passes and the fight goes on as planned. That's all that would happen.
I'm unsure, but I was a "no" before this whole drug testing mess. Leaning towards yes, but not totally sure. I'm still hoping this is all some BS ploy.
hah, all Roach and Manny would need is to show them the negative test results by the NASC. That would hold up in court more than anything. A judge wouldnt try to dismiss a state's official results.
Even if they wanted blood he could give it up. This is where the mayweathers and the rest of you look retarded. There is proof Manny isnt on roids. you guys have NONE.
NSAC tests urine... not the blood. HGH is only found in the blood. Easy to shoot that down.
i clearly said it favors floyd cuz it puts a lot of pressure of pac
Lots of pressure to pass a drug test? LMAO. You do realize they just take blood and piss right... no reason to study for it. Just don't take roids and you'll be fine.
What is the big deal about wanting the sport to be clean? Why do Pactards want cheaters to get away freely? If this is the first time a boxer has ever asked for it, maybe it will catch on. Would it be a bad thing for stricter drug tests in boxing? Any Pactards care to answer?
Would stricter drug tests be bad for boxing? Go.
LMAO. If Floyd wanted to duck, he would have demanded 60% or more of the purse. Pacquiao is the coward here. You mongoloids are too blinded by his nuts in your face to see it.
You're trying to point out hypocrisy? This is boxing. Hypocrisy is everywhere. Promoters look out for their own fighters. If anything, this should make Pacquiao look worse, as we all know now why Mosley didn't wanna get tested...
OP: So, because in 1998, Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire cheated their way to one of the most amazing displays in baseball history, they should receive a pass? And what does Pacquiao's faith have to do with anything?
1. Mayweather prays, too.
2. Pacquiao is an adulterer. That's against religion.
3. Again, baseball. Steroid issues are a dark place for a sport to go, but you clean it the **** up, and it rebounds because people realize they're now seeing a clean product.
Ball is in Manny's court. It's time to man up.
Wow. Pactards make me laugh. You ****ing morons really can't get it through your insanely thick skulls that Floyd is taking the exact same ****ing test? It's an olympic drug test. It's not like these guys are being forced to go without fluid for a few days to take this test. They take a tiny bit of blood, and you piss in a cup. But yep, that's way too much to ask from a professional athlete. They shouldn't do drugs, but we shouldn't try to stop them from doing them either. Yep, that makes a whole lot of sense. Idiots.
I don't agree with what the video is saying, but I think there is a grain of truth in it. He did fight a drained DLH and Floyd didn't. He fought a changed Hatton and Floyd fought an undefeated one. You can say Floyd had an advantage fighting Hatton at 147, but Hatton cuts from like 180 so it shouldn't make much of a difference. Is Manny the P4P King right now? I think Floyd's better but I don't think it would be right for him to just come back and assume the #1 P4P ranking. So I have no qualms with Manny being ranked at the top. Manny's a terrific fighter either way, all the two examples in the video really say is that it isn't fair to compare the way the two fighters won(which should be obvious anyway).
Yeah, if he wanted to duck he'd have stuck to a 60/40 thing where Manny would never accept. So Floyd has agreed to 50/50, he's agreed to 8 oz. gloves, but he's scared of Pacquiao? Please.
