The only fighter worth watching on PPV these days is now in question. You know how bad that makes the sport look when the shift is to MMA these days? Floyd is killing boxing and so is that idiot Oscar who was suppose to help it. Now 1 guy whose kept faith on his side and prayed since the beginning of his career is in question because of idiots making accusations left and right. It's so sad what's come to this sport, and this can be the nail in the coffin. :crucified

It wouldn't be killing boxing if he agreed to the testing and then tested negative.
Thats where your wrong. By asking for a thorough test Floyd is not making an accusation.
If you are tested for HIV it does not mean someone made an accusation that you had a disease.
If your test for a FLU it does not mean you have been accused of having a cold.
If you have your eyes checked it does not mean someone said you have bad vision.
:bs2:
and pac already agreed to the test, didn't he? he just doesn't the test to be taken 2 days before the fight. both fighters should come to the fight 100%. if pac says this test taken 2 days b4 could affect his performance, then we should respect that.
Or he could just simply take the test and pass it.
you're blaming Floyd for Manny's fault.
what?! it's pac's fault now for not bending over to these crackheads terms? pac already made a compromise, floyd should meet hi halfway flomo!
Boxing has been around a very long time. It has had a bad rep already, but that hasn't stopped fans from watching big fights (this is a mega fight). But it does suck very bad that boxing didn't have a steroids issue and now boxing has a steroid PED issue. (Well, actually, what the hell am I talkin' about? Boxing has already had a steroid issue. But, at least nobody outside of a few hardcore fans was discussin' it recently. I guess Margarito Gate just wasn't enough.)
I'm all for cleaning up boxing. If random testing makes things better in boxing, then I'm cool with that, obviously. But this incident has made Pacquiao guilty before proven innocent.
But, anyways, what I was saying before about boxing. If boxing was posting on NSB, it would have crazy Red K. The plaster alone would have put it in the grave. This steroid shit would have dug up the body and torched it.
EDIT: And I just read that the fight is dead. Fücking pissed.

very first line you proved you dont know jack shit about boxing, dont really follow boxing and is a nuthugger only interested in one or a couple of fighters.
haye, adamek, pascal, froch, abraham, pavlik, williams, mosley, bradley, funeka, JMM, r.marquez, i.vasquez, juanma, caballero etc etc.. are all fighters well worth watching on ppv.
how does wanting proper drug testing hurt the sport? please explain why. its pac refusing to get himself tested properly thats the issue. this is 2009, soon 2010. illegal substances are a common issue in sports and you have to question someone everytime theres suspicion of foul play at this level, especially in a dangerous sport like boxing. floyd is doing the sport a great favor.
"so sad whats come to this sport".. how about came to every sport, you cant just look the other way you have to make sure these fighters are competing in as safe an enviroment as possible. most trainers only feel the wraps of the oposing fighter, nazeem richardson had them remove margaritos hense caught him cheating. the athletic commission wouldnt have found it just like they never found it before. but nazeem wasnt naive, he wasnt lazy. he told them to remove the padding so he knew what was going on. floyd sr advised his son to get the best possible tests for the fight, so he would know what was going on. if pac is innocent, no harm done. just do the damn test. dont hate floyd for wanting a fair fight.
oNLY IN America can a condemned drup pusher and user accussed the innocent of drug using even though time and time again he passed clean. I guess people judge by assumption even without proof.
OP: So, because in 1998, Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire cheated their way to one of the most amazing displays in baseball history, they should receive a pass? And what does Pacquiao's faith have to do with anything?
1. Mayweather prays, too.
2. Pacquiao is an adulterer. That's against religion.
3. Again, baseball. Steroid issues are a dark place for a sport to go, but you clean it the **** up, and it rebounds because people realize they're now seeing a clean product.
Ball is in Manny's court. It's time to man up.
