PACMAN is only at the top right now because PBF retired for a few years. I really like PACMAN not as much as his fellow Philipinos. PACMAN lost to JMM twice and he has been previously KO'd two or three times in the past by boxing nobodies.
The only reason he is fighting Cotto now is because ROACH thinks COTTO is damaged goods. We all know ROACH, if he thought COTTO was the same fighter as he was before the Margarito fight this fight would not be happening. He would be saying COTTO is too big. Every boxing forum I go to is full of Filipino fans and Filipino pride proclaiming PACMAN as a boxing GOD.

I thought the guy looked like Vargas. I didn't really take a good look at him, but at the same time I said to might self it can't be he's too fat. But it was a boxing event and Vargas is a boxer so you tell me.
Chad Dawson is a nice guy & all , but he's not even close to being the best P4P in boxer like Floyd said he was. Maybe Floyd believes he's as good as he was to be the P4P king, but not what a real P4P fighter should be.
probably.. i dont trust some of these guys anymore.. oscar didnt even look like he was trying in his last few fights.. even if he was out of shape and a shell of his former self.. you could tell he wasnt even close to trying to fight his heart out. he didnt look desperate when he was losing.

Theres only two main reasons that should keep Tarver in or out of the ring.
Health & Money. If Tarver can get some good money for a fight he should continue, but not if he feels his health maybe jeopardize.

The last fight he fought was one of the better ones i've seen him fight. He's had some trouble with many low quality fighters. He wasn't ready to turn profesional, but thanks to his father fame he's been able to sell some fights and gain some money. But his record will turn to be as big as his fathers was if he keeps fighting in mexico against low caliber opponents. He's had some questionable victories, but I saw some improvememt in his last fight, where he started boxing more and doing less brawling. Still he has much to prove.
Shane Mosley is 37 and he aint getting any younger. He still old, but he has come from having a great performance. If Floyd waits too much thet would say he beat a fighter that was washed up. He should fight him while Shane still has something left in the tank.

Shane Mosley was a threat too. When all the competiton that was left was strong fighters, Floyd Mayweather left. He was scare of Berto, Cotto, Mosley, P. Willliams and your servidor. So now that he sees Manny Pacquiao can be a possible opponent he comes out.
Pacquiao shouldn't ever fight again in 147 he should stick to 140 or under. The guy has only had one fight in 135 and when up in weight to fight a slow weak De la Hoya who lost weight, but didn't gain any speed.
Pacman is a small fighter that shouldn't look to fight stronger punchers. He can be defeated by bigger fighters, but those fighter would have to catch up with him first. If they do he can be knocked out. He's been hurt by smaller fighter so its all a matter of who can reach him.
There is no one in 147 who should fear him, perhaps he can beat them, but he can't hurt them. Atleast not in a matter of real danger. Theres no real fear in fighting Pacquiao for fighter that weigh in 147, unless they fear defeat. Pacquiao on the other hand can fear both-defeat and being seriously hurt.
Mosley showed lots of quickness in his hands and a quicker fighter can represent more danger for pacquiao. Cotto still showed some quickness when he faced Mosley, but started getting tired as the rounds went by.
Plus if Pacquiao faced Cotto he would get more money I believe. Maybe.
Now don't get me wrong, I like Cotto and his very entertaining to watch and currently my favorite fighter right now. But daym are his interview awful, all his answers are systematic and predictable. I just can't explain it, but this guy doesn't seem to have a personality, he never has an opinion or something interesting to say. And it's very annoying.
Plus, this will be very difficult for him if he wants to become a household name or become a very big draw.
Cottos interviews in English or Spanish? He's not very charasmatic, but in english he's not able to express himself at the best of his abilities.

Floyd isn't a better boxer than Cotto. Mayweather is just a guy that runs around then ties you up or holds your arm to prevent the fighter from hitting him. Holding isn't allowed, but Mayweather a cheat. You may call that boxing, but he doesn't have the same grace that Cotto has when he boxes. If every boxer fought like that then boxing would sck.
