Khan trying to make friends so he doesnt have to fight him
Khan isn't scared of Lucas. Or anyone for that matter. Khan would fight Lucas tomorrow. Whether he wins is an entirely different subject, but he isn't scared
Broner would beat Matthysse for me, something like 8-4. Matthysse struggles to win rounds convincingly against slick guys like Devon and Zab. Broner is slicker and more skilled than either. Awkward fight stylistically for Matthysse
Still, Broner has no excuse really for skipping the entire 140lb division and Matthysse is top of that list at 140
He's obviously avoiding the tough fighters in the 140/147. After losing to de Leon I can see why. Its a smart move from the marketing point of view. The mass of people know nothing about boxing and dont see the fights ducked, they just count belts.

This is true. The fact Broner will in all likelihood become a WW champion is ridiculous. Broner could some serious names on his resume if he got in the mix at 140. Hopefully he goes down or, at the very least, fights Matthysse, Garcia n all if and when they move to 147
Bradley's work rate, versatility, conditioning an ability to adapt means Floyd would have to really work for a UD. Still think Floyd bamboozles Tim with ease
Bradley could definitely steal some rounds from Floyd, especially early. Itwould be another that could be tough to judge if Floyd doesn't take risk. I actually could see Floyd letting punches go in this one though.
Agreed. Bradley doesn't have the power to really hurt Floyd, but his work rate could prove problematic. But saying that, Floyd eats up pressure guys, you can't outbox him, he'll be clinical in his counters against volume punchers and if you try to rough him up on the side you'll be punching smoke and eating leather. Bradley would have to adjust and stay one step ahead of Floyd, but that's not gonna happen either
Bradley has next to no chance. yes hes well conditioned, he can adapt well, he got commenable speed and chin, but Pacquiao is better in every department than anything hes ever faced. Pacquiao likes to lunge and we all know Timmy has a tendency to go forward head first, so I think there will be a few clashes of heads.
But as a style match up, Bradley cant trade with Manny, cant out box Manny, is slower, has less power, weaker footwork. Pacquiao is a level above anything he has come across
it's a 50/50 fight, Brook is a good combination punch and extremely quick. Devon is also quick but is slick as well.
My biggest worry for Brook is how he tends to gas down the straight in rounds 8-12
Too soon for Gamboa, he really needs to get back in now and move his career forward but even then at which weight would this fight happen? Broner is a big boy who would probably start fighting at 140 soon and Yuri doesn't seem like he can go up to 140 and be competitive.
I agree, Gamboa needs to actually fight before even contemplating taking on Broner
Brook is a big draw & is selling out arenas, most Amir Khan fans claim he isn't but he is and most casual fans like him. He is popular here.
Pretty much everyone has heard of Khan but hes widely known as having a glass chin and the hype has gone.
well, Brook packs out the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, which isn't exactly huge but it's a decent size. Khan would sell out the MEN comfortably I think, despite him being on a losing streak atm.
I think the way Matchroom and Sky would buddy up and sell the fight like mad, I'd expect it to be a big fight definitely
the Post Margarito suspension catchweight JMW title fight was not impressive, at least not in my opinion
oh I wasn't suggesting that all of his wins above 135 are impressive, but the ones that are; Hatton, Cotto, Marquez III will still be good wins regardless of the outcome of this fourth fight, which is what the TS asked
The Cotto that fought Floyd was not the same Cotto that ought Trout. That's not to take anything away from Trout's win, but Cotto wasn't at his best last weekend for me
