I think Williams should be above Margarito because he BEAT Margartito. not an older margotirto but the same one who just beat Cotto. And im sure Paul is a better fighter then cotto anyway. After having a bad night againgt carlos, he avenged his loss the way a real champ should, and completely erased any doubt that carlos was better then he was.
They are better than any current fighter today, the only HWeight in recent memory that was better is Lennox Lewis and a primed Evander. One is British ,one American
I would put Brewster over Wlad.
But thats only because Lamon Knock him out.
i one time i was pretty boring, But he is fun to watch, he is much more aggresive, and more of a dangerous fighter. I past few fights haev been great. He dominated Ike, and i thought easily beat Taylor. I'm no tlooking forward to the Hopkins fight though. BHOP will stink this fight up.
I'm going with Younger Foreman.
The older Foreman was able to pace himself more because people where afraid to stand in front of him (except for Holy who beat him) but Young foreman wasn't afraid of anyone. And would have made the older foreman expend way too much energy. By the later rounds older foreman would not have been able to control the fight like he'd want to, and loose a lop sided decision.
Someone beats him or atleast win 3 rounds against him? You fool, I guess you didn't watch the first castillo fight where he won more than enough round for the victory and the Zab fight where Zab won 4 round? Now shutup.
Oh yah, how do you get JMM at number 5? Seriously? Who has he beatin?
well he beat Pacman for about 8 straight rounds. and yes i saw both of those fights, i see you take a statement very Literally. i think anyone else would get my point, which is that Flody dominates fights. Very very few fighters have even given him a real challange, even you can only name 2 fighters who won 4 rounds. JCC may have won 5. but either way Floyd has dominated through out his career. Pacman has been KO'd twice, and schooled twice. thats why i can't give him the# 1 spot. and just so you know you can make your point with calling someone a fool, or telling them to shutup, simply because you do not agree with them. Most of the posters on this site are groan men, who love the sport, and more then capabable of holding a conversation with respect.
1. PBF
2. WINKY
3. CALZAGHE
4. WLAD
5. PACMAN/JMM
Pacman wasn't #1 after the 1st time he beat Morales, he damn sure isn't going to get there by beating him again. you can't jump PBF until someone beats him, or at least win more then 3 rounds against him
I don't think you can take P4P from PBF until someone at least wins 4 rounds aganst him. We have all seen Manny be out boxed by JMM and Morales. Manny is a great Fighter, bu tnot P4P #1. And you can't call prime because of age. Morelas at his age has been in may to many wars, to be considered still in his prime. That explains why he lost 4 of his last 5 fights.
1. Pbf/wright
3. Calzage
4. Jmm ( I Only Put Him Over Pac Because I Can't Forget How He School Pac For 10 Rounds)
5. Wlad
I Know People Hate To Include Heavyweights, But Wlad (with Steward) Is A Reaaly Great Fighter.
Your number 1 ranked pound for pound fighter is 2 guys? And where is number 2? All I see is 1 (which is 2 fighters), 3, 4, and 5. And Juan Manuel Marquez is all of a sudden a top p4p guy? When the fuck did this shit happen? Did I miss the memo?
Out of Pacquiao, Rafael Marquez, De La Hoya, Hopkins, Taylor, and Marco Antonio Barrera....you pick Juan Manuel Marquez!?
i think that PBF and Wright are too close to pick, so i ranked them both at#1, there is no # 2 spot because it's taken by one of them. As for Pacman, i was really impressed with him, and as good as he is, it also tells how good JMM is as he was able to outbox him for 1o rounds pretty easily. As for you missing the memo, well i'm not sure about that. this is an opinion thread, and thats how i see it. If you disagree thats cool. its your right.
I didn't see Marquez outboxing Pacquiao for 10 rounds, I had the fight much closer than that and agree with the draw. Even still I can't see Juan Manuel Marquez taking place above guys like Mosley, De La Hoya and Hopkins. But as you say, it's mere opinion and I respect yours.
thats cool,
I do have R. Marquez at #6 and Pacman up there as well. As for B-hop i didn't rank him because i thought he was clearly beaten twice by Taylor. DLH, doesn't fight eboung fo rme to rank him, theres no doubt that he is a great fighter though.
He should stay away from the middle weight Div. i can't beat Taylor, and would most likely be blown out by Wright.
Id like to see him at LHW. i think he could become champ there. (if he stays away from RJJ)
he would rule the heavyweight
division today. that back problem
took ten years off his carreer.
tyson, at no point in his career including now, would or could ever beat Holyfield.
Da hell kind of list is that?
a good list, although i guess tyson could be a little lower. I'm not sure if he could have beaten frazier, liston,or kevin mcbride
1.) Ali 2.) Louis 3.) Lewis 4.) Marciano 5.) Foreman 6.) Frazier 7.) Holyfield 8.) Holmes 9.) Tyson 10.) Bowe
Tyson was asked on a TV show once if he had raped the girl. He answered 'yeah i raped dat bitch'.
i forgot about bowe, i don't think mike could have beaten bowe in his prime. Bowe was pretty bad ass, when he fought Holy he showed alot of heart, the heart and jab that would have beaten tyaon badly, maybe even worse than LL
Being a Tampa boy, i am a fan of both Tarver and Lacy, but in this fight i would have to go with Taver, it will be a remake of LL/Tyson. People underestmate how tough Taver really is. He will not let lacy KO him
