addison can i ask you a question? I know you hate cotto but why would make all those bets for him to lose against gomez? Im not a big fan of cotto but am smart enough to know gomez is no real threat. just curious
Because Gomez will win. And because I've been betting strictly pure, no chance, no hope underdogs for months. I got a little burned out and I needed something to make those saturday nights more exciting. Some of them have been blind bets, I have literally flipped a coin.. Anyways, it is more fun, but losing still sucks. It's just that winning against the odds is the sweetest feeling there is. I've been trying to manufacture that, and it wouldn't be satisfying unless it only happened every once in a long while.
Shit! I'll bet! :lol1: Ouch..

Damn! That is one object I wouldn't want to be hit with.. Was he ok?
He survived... :lol1:
He got a little bump in his head to prove it had happened :D
Haha, hope you didn't hurt yourself :lol1:
Actually, my big brother did that with my grandfather. So it was a semi-true story :lol1:

1984, when he punched his dad in the head with a hammer...
:lol1: :lol1:
HaHAHAHA!!! That one actually made me kick the desk. :notworthy
Goddamn!! :lol1:
I have to go with "The Foul Pole" Andrew Golota...It still amazes me to this day that he wasn't able to finish off Riddick Bowe in both fights, he did manage to give him brain damage though...He knocked down Ruiz twice in the 2nd round of their fight and had him hurt bad, but failed to finish him there as well...Same thing with Michael Grant, he knocked him down, hurt him bad early but failed to finish the glass chinned Grant....Now just recently, he had Mike Mollo hurt bad and out on his feet for several rounds but couldn't put him away.
I would have figured that you would have to have someone in trouble in order to be in a position to "finish" them. When is the last time that Paulie had someone hurt?
You have to hurt somebody to be able to finish them. Paulie doesn't qualify. Golota hits hard and always lets his opponent off the hook. Jameel McCline is probably even worse.
Paulie Malignaggi punches like a girl and isn't capable of finishing anybody...This is the reason Paulie will never be a big star or top draw in boxing.

Zab Judah, and it's not even remotely close. That dude has a badass straight left hand, but once he lands it and his opponent is stumbling around, he turns into Antonio Margarito and just wings looping shots.
I thought of Zab as well :lol1:

It has to be Golota, he couldn't finish Bowe (twice) bryd, ruiz, or grant.
Good choice. Even in his last fight he couldn't finish off an opponent who was half dead from exhaustion.
it really chaps my ass that jones fans actually believe it when they say that he doesent want to hurt anyone.
I don't think he did. He might not mind knocking somebody down, but Roy was always conscious of the ref when he had his guy hurt. He motioned for it to be stopped all the time.
