Clean punching
effective aggressiveness
ring generalship
defense
And let’s be honest, those last two criteria often get overlooked by both fans(casuals) and judges.
It’s often why the guy who goes 12/41 will win a round of the guy who went 10/20.
To me this was similar to my thought behind Loma/Lopez. I couldn’t give Loma the win but I don’t think he lost. It was a draw at best.
This fight was the same but I don’t see how Haney won. A draw at best but Loma has at least 6 clear rounds.
Loma didn’t fight for the first 5-6 rounds of the Lopez fight and nearly got knocked out in the 12th round and you still thought he didn’t lose :lol1::lol1:. Haney has no chance then. However , you said Loma won 6 clear rounds why don’t you name them?
I gave Loma 7-11 vs Lopez with 2 as a toss up but I liked what Loma did towards the end.
Against Haney I gave him 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11
His best bet is to get off early and to a fast start but there will be no coasting. Haney will come to fight and be ready to go 12 hard rounds.
The problem with Loma starting out fast is that if he tries to bring the fight to Haney then he has to open up and take risks himself. This is a real tough fight for Loma. I won’t completely write him off but he’ll have to be better than he’s ever been to win this one.
I don’t think threat of Haney’s power will be something Loma is worried about. I may be overconfident but I think this will be a relatively easy fight for Loma. 9-3.
It's interesting. Styles make fights. Haney is a jab and grab boxer. But what if he tries pressuring Loma?
That’s something from Haney we haven’t saw so I think it’d be a surprise to us all including Loma. But I just don’t think Haney has the power to keep Loma on his back foot. Kambosos minor success was the movement and changing of angles but he couldn’t do it for 12 rounds, if he did he’d beat Haney twice. Loma can, and has, done it. He also won’t let Haney clinch/hug all night.
Fluid fought physical gifted fighters only twice.
Pac was gifted but had funny reach disadvantage. He still outlanded Fluid. You can see it in analysis videos which count landed punches objectively.
Y’all hold on to that “objective” video like it’s the holy grail
Floyd was caught by surprise to see Pac at Heat game. After that he had to pretend to want the fight which is what he did. Pretend. Then the fight was not being made, clearly Floyd was ducking again. Then suddenly Les Moonves stepped in and forced it. You Floyd fools never got the real story, you just saw the protect floyd media propoganda. the fact is Floyd was pretending to want Pac but DUCKING him for six years. Moonves forced it. FACT.
Floyd is ducking the rematch now for another five years. If it was such an easy fight why not run it back? Why fight berto and the other two novices for much less money if it was so easy? Fools gonna be fools
He ducked PAC then beat him and you want him to fight him again? To prove what?
Are people still peddling the Loma angles theory? The same style that Teo completely nullified? Kingry will handle that easily. That left hook and body shot is going to make Loma run.
Lopez didn't nullify anything, Lomachenko had a bad gameplan but as we see when he turned it on he was hitting Lopez at will.
