Jaron Ennis Is Special, and Is The Best Welterweight in The Division

I disagree, any boxer could be very talented but the true measure of talent is when it meets ADVERSITY. Everyone is going to eventually meet their EQUAL. What do you do then? He has never met anyone close to as fast, strong and athletic as himself. Broner fell apart when he met Chino and chino was slow and ponderous in comparison to Broner and we all saw how that turned out.

Villa is ranked top 10 by The Ring. Thurman is semi retired, Porter is retired, Garcia also probably. What are you talking about, this is not 2017. You’re very naive. Just cause a belt owning entity says someone is top ten. Don’t make it so. He’s an average top 10-20 who’s fought mostly outside of the US. I grade boxers on where they have fought and who they have fought.

He might be the best WW , if we pretend like Spence & Bud are not still in the division .........He is special though and looked phenomenal last night , needs a big step up in competition though .

They have seen a gap in the division and placed Ennis nicely in there look how they matched him with Villa soon as he beat Rashidi striking while the iron is hot and building boots up to be the next big thing the division has lost pac, garcia, is about to lose crawford and spence, thurmans done and waiting for a pension fund payday, Ortiz looks phucked health wise so its all open for boots to be the man unchallenged

If it was Vergil in there instead of Villa. Does Vergil not beat the piss out of Ennis? Villa is a bigger but lesser skilled Lipinets. The straights he threw couldn’t miss, shame he doesn’t have a jab to have made the fight more interesting, but even the telegraphed overhands were landing. Maybe they can meet at 154. Hope Vergil recovers fully, because there really isn’t much talent and matchups to look forward to in the horizon.

yeah i feel that's spot on , good fights , ennis was supposed to do what he did to villa we spoke about it for days, then he does it and he instantly can beat anybody, good fighter and the future of the ww division, spence and tc would do every bit what boots did and more to villa, i think he needs the guys you mentioned for schooling he does them he be a beast going into one of the top guys. I reckon spence and tc will probably move up and may never fight him. a guy made a thread saying he's the recarnation of roy jones jr mayweather and leonard

Boots is the next king of division. Ortiz jr. is out of the picture and spence and Crawford will move up ( or maybe loser even retires), so it is not even relevant how ready Boots is for them.

This is typical of every dominating win in here, was a good win but Villa is not anywhere close to TC or Spence he was perfect style for Ennis, you just saw Boots beat Anavesyan level. It’s not about just the win it’s about his technique, stamina, and ability to take a punch.

I love when people go nuts over a guy who's beaten nobody up till this point. Let's see him vs Thurman or Ugas or Stanionis first before we say he'd beat 2 HOF fighters in Spence and Crawford.
