Let that sink in lol.. Boxing is so corrupt and those judges will get to judge other fights and receive bribes
I agree bro! That wasn’t 115-113. Not even close!
Teo boxed his ears off with boxing skills I really didn’t know Teo had.
Wasnt the best version of Josh I have seen but that wasn’t Teo’s fault!
Him and his dad are delusional and crazy but I was pretty surprised on Saturday night.
And then Taylor would have retained his belt, and Teo would still be on the outside looking in, and Taylor wouldn't have given him a rematch just like he didn't with Catterall.
THAT'S what "to be the champ you have to beat the champ" means. Champ retains in the event of a draw.
How do people not know this?
Then we get these jackasses thinking stupid things like "you have to beat the champ by a wide margin to win the fight." Teo basically took over after round 2, and did whatever he wanted. This could be a 10-2 fight and Taylor could still have retained his belt. Those 115-113 cards are corrupt BS, and you've still got people saying "it's fine because the right guy won." Or "it's not a robbery because it was a close fight." GTFO.
This is why boxing is still corrupt.
Unlike, Loma/Haney this was a very easy fight to score. I personally, thought Taylor threw in the towel after the fourth round. He just simply stopped competing and then Tayo just completely dominated and took over the entire fight afterwards. This fight was a landslide and a total domination victory by Teofimo Lopez, Jr.
i saw the fight, picked Taylor to win in dominating fashion, but could hardly give him any rounds. Taylor just followed Teo around looking to land a left hand while getting buzzed all night. The fight wasn't close or hard to score

F what they want.
Nash does what he does and never asks for permission.
Everyone would collectively lose their shlt if you were gracious enough to fix the sport.
Somethings are meant to be.
Nash may have to use his Boxingscene Hall of Fame privilege card and light a rocket under these fools. Tear things up a bit. It's Nash's goal for boxing to have a Royal Rumble Champion come end of 2024. 1 belt holder per division, and the Royal Rumble champion. Nash out
Wrong! Had Tayo lost the 12th round then fight would have been ruled a majority decision draw.
And then Taylor would have retained his belt, and Teo would still be on the outside looking in, and Taylor wouldn't have given him a rematch just like he didn't with Catterall.

The boxing powers that be don't want Nash to fix it, as they know it will mean more losses for their cash-cows. Boxing judging is exactly how the powers want it to be. They know that any bad decision is moved on from come the next fight, and can even be used to build rematches, etc.
Nash would have been willing to spend some of his vital and busy time to completely fix it, and beyond that, even reinvent the sport of boxing. All Championship belts would have been removed to make way for the Nash belt as well. One champ, one face, one name. And where on Earth is the boxing version of the Royal Rumble! It would be the most awesome, chaotic thing the world had ever seen. Nash out

Too many poor judges who score fights through these criteria's
1. If it's a close round that could have went either way, always give it to the A-side.
2. If you want a certain guy to win and the crowd is behind him, crowd noise totally counts as a power punch.
3. If you acccidentally dose off during the round, just assume the A-side took it.
4. Always know the full score, don't be afraid to give the B-side 5 of the first 10 rounds, then find any way possible to give A-side rounds 11, 12.
Additional info.
If the fight was so one-sided that you could not score it for the A-side, as long as you did your best in following these criteria to give him a 90% advantage, we can't ask for more. Nash out

And let’s be honest, those last two criteria often get overlooked by both fans(casuals) and judges.
It’s often why the guy who goes 12/41 will win a round of the guy who went 10/20.
After all of these decades, boxing refuses to fix itself.
It's rare when 3 judges see the same fight the same way.
No other sport has this problem.

There's the 4 main criteria's and if they can't be split through that, it goes to criteria 5, subtle work that only the Great Nash can see. Nash out

It might have been a situation where the judges were extra careful about “robbing†Taylor, and so they had it in their mind to not be “biasedâ€, and ended giving Taylor rounds he didn’t deserve.
The Lomachenko-Haney fight scorecards are still lingering and all eyes were going to be on fair judging for the foreign fighter.
Who knows? But if that’s the case, what that shows is that judges pretty much sit there guessing who won a round because they can’t really see sh/t? The three blind mice basically.
It’s clear that all 3 judges of a boxing fight don’t get to see all the right angles and all the punches landing, and also they see punches landing that didn’t land.
We get to see a really good angle of all punches from tv, so we can be better judges. It’s such an outdated way of scoring fights.
Clean punching

You'd think, but as we see with some of these scores :lol1:
Missing, bad intentions, ineffective aggression, ability to eat dozens clean shots......
It's odd how 3 people will not see the fight they just saw the same way.
1,2, 3, 7, 8, and 10 are all rounds Taylor win or they were close enough that it wouldn’t be insane to give him.
I had it 117-111, but even the judge who agreed with me gave Taylor round 7 which I had a Teo round. He gave Taylor 1, 7, and 10. I gave him 1,3, and 10. The two judges that had it 115-113 gave Taylor 1, 2, 3, and 10. One of them gave him 7, which is not crazy, the other gave him 6 which is a really terrible take.
What is the criteria for winning a fight anyway :dunno:
Maybe punches landed don't really count that much unless they result in knockdowns

I gave Taylor 1, 3, and 10. But would have no problem with someone also giving him 2 as well.
That’s why you fight the 12th. Ina fight you’re up in, you don’t know what the judges saw. If Lopez had coasted the 12th he would have had nobody but himself to blame for a majority draw decision.

Oh they paid them off that for sure because to have that fight that Close going into the 12th is beyond ridiculous but like I said they gave Taylor as much pitty rds as they could and were hoping he would win the 12th to help him keep his titles but Teo didn't t let them.
That fight was a 10-2 maybe 9-3 if you wanna be nice to Taylor. I don't believe judges can be that blind I don't give them that benefit.
I agree, the fight wasn't close at all and the scorecards were a complete joke except the 117-111
