But ofcourse the media favorite with a bogus W.
Loma has been the biggest media hype job of recent times.
That would be Canelo. Exposed as the flat-footed, one-gear fighter he is
Stop it im Rican and Loma was definitely down early. I had it 3-1 ortiz after 4. Then after that he only won 1 to 2 more rounds. Loma swept 10-11-12 and won one or 2 other rounds from rounds 6 to 9. I had him winning 115-113 and can see it 116-112. Stop being so damn bias.
it was close but ortiz started slowing and getting hit alot more the second half of the fight.
exactly
I'm not a fan of any particular fighter so I'm the least affected when immature old guys start threads like this.
I'm just wondering the point of the hate when Loma is moving forward to fight Haney. Can't you wait to see him get exposed even more? I mean if he's ducking Haney, then you have all the reasons to hate the guy. But he's still fighting Haney. Isn't that something?
Loma is nearly 35
He’s on the decline.
His head is getting smaller which is one of the first signs that a boxer is ‘past his peak’
He still can beat the top guys though
Lomachenko showed slight signs of decline in there.
He's becoming easier to hit, his defence reflexes are starting to worsen. It could spell disaster against better opponents than Ortiz (who, make no mistake, fought a great fight).
Lomas best possible outcome was a draw. He had a few nice shots but so did Ortiz. The difference was that Ortiz went full throttle til the bell while loma was content to kill time once he felt he had the round won. You know loma was doing bad when they panned the camera on over to usyk and he was looking worried.
I think they gifted loma the win because of the whole Ukraine war narrative. But then again boxing has always been controversial with bs decisions so who knows.
Btw I didn't care either way on who'd win.
You must he Lomas sister if you believe that, that so called "great" got schooled by a green kid again.
You are full of sht with no idea what you are looking at, hate blinds.

You should be kicked off your island lol
I used to think GGG was the most over hyped fighter in recent boxing history but wow........Two Loss Chenko (should be Three Loss Chenko) definitely takes the cake. Very good fighter but the fact that everyone hyped him to the moon made him less likeable.
Loma was getting his head snapped back just as often or more so his face was all jacked up.
Did you watch the fight? There was slow-motion capture that illustrated where the tape of Ortiz cuffed Loma under his eye. All moments in the fight where someone's head was getting snapped back it was Ortiz. The fight was close initially due to Ortiz's good high pace activity and Loma's inactivity. Ortiz wasn't landing cleanly, but he was punching gloves and staying active. He did very well 100% - but all the highest quality punches were landed by Loma. It was a close fight - Loma needs to go back down to featherweight, he's way too small at lightweight.
