3 Loses
Martinez vs Williams 1- Close fight but got I have pwill up by a round or two if i remember correctly. Couldve went either way. Cintron was taggin him until he hopped out the ring, shouldve been a NC but only Cintron knows if he hopped out the ring.
3 losses- First Quintana Fight, Martinez vs P Will 2, and the Lara fight. Im not gonna completely discredit him, some ppl dont fight Southpaws at all and he gots good quality wins.
Winky would have been tough, everyone else woulda been UD’d. GGG at 154 woulda been drained, you know a weight clause woulda been added. I will never understand why ppl hype up Magarito . It would have looked like the Baldomir fight. I loved Paul Williams, but come on. He fought short, never truly utilized that height. Khan gives him problems early until he slows down. Floyd actual might be down on the cards until he walks him down for a vicious knockout. That right hand , left hook would been landing flush on that Khan chin. Bambi legs
Nah. Paulie is a fookin jinx. His ass needs to be commentating on that religious network that Trout fights on!
Hilarious 😂 , you didn’t have to bring my guy Trout into this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol. Margarito wasn’t mediocre. You obviously didn’t watch many of his fights. He’d beat the sht out of Danny Garcia.
I’m sorry, mediocre af. With the hand wraps, sure he should beat the sht outta Danny. Without hand wraps he gets punished for 12 rounds.
ANY boxer can do what Floyd is doing in fighting an exhibition , but most won’t be successful at it from a money standpoint. He built his name and now he retired and can do what he wants while making money off of his name. Anyone that’s smart won’t buy this match as there are other ways to watch but ppl will and then complain about it.
Danny would tee off on him. It amazes me that people forget how mediocre this guy was. Nothing more that an iron chin brawler who’s whole career is suspect because of plaster in his gloves.
Pot kettle black. Garcia with life & death with an ancient Erik Moralles and got schooled by Maurio Herrera. id actually take Margarito tbf.
True but like you said pot kettle black. Marg went life and death with Daniel Santos (loss) got stopped by Mosley who’s older than Morales. See what I did there? Anyone can bring up opponents for any boxer that they shoulda dominated, but to each his own. I respect your opinion
Margarito Stops Errol! or gets his eyes busted but my vote is he stops Errol.
Everyone who ever fought Margarito says Margarito was the hardest puncher they ever faced, all the people involved who seen the real evidence know and say they blew Margarito used wraps out of proportion and sensationalized the situation. Margarito Had no plaster, had no bricks, its was a used wraps that was not firm or stiff, it only had trace elements of some (keyword SOME) ingredients of plaster; meaning alone these trace elements can never create plaster; also only had trace elements (keyword TRACE) elements; meaning there is only a fraction of a fraction of this substance which can never become anything. Thas how I feel about that.
Guy had a 54% KO rate, doesn’t sound like he would stop someone the caliber of Spence. Accumulation or not, he getting countered and stop just like with Mosley.
Spot on. Outclassed and schooled him. Won 10 rounds easy. Maybe 11. Didnt beat him down but made him look like club fighter. Neutralized his hand speed and had him timed perfect. I do like russell. Just wish he was more active. Who wuld u guys pay to c him fight if he moved up.
I agree. I have a running joke with my son about the championship boxer that fights once a year
It's hard to pick a time for Floyd because at different times , he showed different things. I think his prime was from corrales to Mosley ish but just my opinion
When you have a family while you struggle, you are so hungry everything is a meal. In Thurman’s case, he made it already and NOW he got a wife and will probably start a family. The hunger may be still there but some men start to value their life a little more when they see their child coming into the world. I think Keith will walk away, just my opinion
I'd say he's getting exactly the respect he has earned. He is 40 fights into his career and hasn't fought a future HOF'er, or even someone who would have been considered a legit threat in the division a decade prior. And his boxing skills leave a lot to be desired.
Please tell me outside of the Klitschko brothers, what other heavyweight has been a HOF of future HOF in the last decade? Who else was a threat? He fought Stiverne who was a credible threat. He was willing to fight Povetkin but dude was in Peds. I’m no wilder fan but who else was he suppose to fight? The HW division is heating up and he’s see an opponent that’s on his level now he wants to fight him.
Shiddd, with lighter gloves Paulie might look like GGG lol lol I kid I kid, but I love the troll thread bro. You a MMA guy right? Still left over from the Conor fight? Thought you guys had left lol.
A myth that you people keep spewing so that Floyd's accomplishment seems better than it actually is.
Was Floyd not prime when he fought Judah? Was Floyd not prime when he KO'ed ricky? Was Floyd not priem when he fought Oscar Dela Hoya?
Stop making a fact out of a myth in order to make Floyd greater than one would consider.
Floyd/Oscar was technically at 154LB.
On the Floyd/P-will discussion, I loved P-will, met hit a few times in Augusta and he is a great dude. With that being said, Floyd outboxes the **** out of him. P-will was a good volume puncher but was open to be hit.
