It’s not sad and pathetic, you’re just jumping out the window.
For starters, there is nothing wrong with him complaining about the failed tests. In fact, I posted today that he should keep beating that drum so that it’s not forgotten.
However...it’s what he’s saying that’s disturbing to me.
Further, you can’t compare GGG’s situation to Wilder’s. Wilder held the cards. GGG, not so much.
Nobody is jumping out of the window. Stop being emo.
How is what he is saying disturbing you? You're talking about he's acting like he's afraid. What should he be afraid of? Did he watch a Canelo training video and suddenly get scared? The only thing that changed within the last month is that Canelo got popped for PEDs. The 'he's scared' and 'I don't like what he's saying' are artificial narratives you created in your head.
What you SHOULD not like is the fact that Canelo is not saying anything at all. He's hoping all of this blows over, which makes him highly suspicious.
And lastly.. Wilder held the cards? What cards? Neither Wilder nor Povetkin are popular at all. And as a matter of fact, Wilder was scheduled to make $7M for that fight - which far exceeds his highest earnings to day (not sure about Ortiz fight). I can easily say that Povetkin was the A side due to the money his team was putting on the table.
We don't know why Wilder pulled out so quickly (no pun intended). He didn't want to fight an athlete that was tainted, he didn't like what he saw in Russia, it was a PR stunt.. Whatever you want to say.
His opponent pissed dirty and it's being brushed under the rug because he's the cash cow. He has the right to say anything he wants and be as angry as he wants to be.
Remember when povetkin pissed dirty the first time? It took wilder a day to say nope not fighting him, didn't wait for any organization or commission to investigate.
Here on the other hand you have a fighter who's opponent pissed hotter than Meldonium, but he still says he'll fight if the commission says its OK.
It's amazing how some of you folks are trying to spin this sh1t so it comes back to Golovkin being the bad guy somehow.
It's sad and pathetic.

Hes hoping they cancel it, this is him trying to bring the integrity of the boxing commission into question to hopefully shame them into cancelling the fight.
GGG is a coward. We knew that the day he said he wanted mayweather and pacquaio at 154 but wanted no piece of canelo at the same weight, we knew teh day he wanted ward at 164 but had no issue with chavez at 168.
Says the guy with an Avi who quit to get out of it loss
and die in the process.
check out the reactions to clen :puke:
stuff been around for decades and witch hunters are acting like
''omgomgomgomgomgomg !!!!!!!!!!!!''
It's commonly used. Why are you talking about things you don't have the slightest clue about?
is it a coincidence that theres been a break out of clen/beef....

a snippet;
''How does this effect us? Recorded incidents of health problems associated with the consumption of meat with traces of clenbuterol include increased heart rate, muscular tremors, headache, nausea, fever and chills. According the Food Safety and Inspection Service, in 1990, there were 135 persons in Spain that reported illness after consuming meat that was later found to have traces of clenbuterol. Another incident involving 140 people was reported in 1994.''
hehe he would have to consume an entire cow lol for the traces he had
What it says man lol. If the comission doesn't suspend Canelo or the the fight, GGG will fight (do my job).
Are you from like another country or somehting?
lmfao lolsss
So you could potentially add all 3 of those guys TWICE, and it still might not equal what Canelo had in his system.
As Occam's Razor suggests... if you have a difficult problem with multiple solutions the simplest answer is usually the right one.
You're preaching to the choir my man. I'm of the belief that he was microdosing as well. He just miscalculated and got popped.
But the thing is, NSAC doesn't follow their own penalty protocols or even abide their own bylaws in general when it comes to certain people. And in this case, though it shouldn't be the case, they won't treat Clen like they would Nandrolone or Winstrol. I think all banned substances should be treated the exact same way, with the same urgency and severity and seriousness.
Instead we have people defending Canelo by trying say things like "well, Clen isn't the same as a steroid" or "Clen hasn't even been proven to do much for an athlete" or even "it was in his system before camp, so it can't benefit him much". I've seen it all. They'll literally try to change the chemical makeup of what Clen is and what it's primary functions are just to defend someone. It's sickening.
I'd say most definitely, in a court of law. His opponent tested dirty. (I didn't follow this story and I don't care about it.)
I'm not interested in this fight. First one was boring and this one is tainted.
Yep this fight is tainted already ...
If the commission doesn't suspend/ban Caneloterol, does GGG has the right to pull out from the fight? Being with an opponent with a positive tests.
Tho GGG can manufacture any injury to pull out from the fight on the last minute...

Ideally. But in this particular case, since it's so extraordinary as it pertains to Mexican meat, they would have to PROVE intent.
If NSAC does a thorough investigation and proves it was indeed just an isolated incident of food consumption, GGG is contractually obligated to fight and will face extremely harsh financial penalties for doing so.
If NSAC proves Canelo is indeed guilty and was using Clen for a competitive advantage I'm sure it will be well within Gennady's right to cancel the fight and NSAC will punish Canelo and they too will have harsh financial penalties. BUT...I'm sure there will be lots of things being offered as a means to let the fight STILL continue to go on. (for example: renegotiated split, ppv shares, etc)
Pretty sure its been stated that he would have had to eat a horse(Figuratively speaking) to get that much into his system. Further that horse would have had to have been injected and then pretty much IMMEDIATELY slaughtered and then cooked which is highly unlikely. Even furthermore you aren't generally giving animals human sized doses of it because it would make the livestock sick if not kill them.
He had 600-800 picograms of it in his system. Alberto Contador a Tour de france winner had 50 picograms and used the same excuse, but still got banned. 2 other guys that I can't think of their names were suspended for it had 200 & 150 picograms in their system if I recall correctly.
So you could potentially add all 3 of those guys TWICE, and it still might not equal what Canelo had in his system.

I'm 99% sure there's a clause about canceling the fight if one of them tested positive. If not the lawyers on GGG's side need to be slapped.
Its not like VADA is officially recognized by the Nevada State Athletic commission anyways because neither them or USADA have governing power, so in that case the lawyers would have to protect GGG by writing it up in the contract in the event that Canelo failed a test under VADA.

I'm far from the biggest GGG fan(Ill fight anyone from 154-168...), but I agree with this. Those guys are reaching hard. Canelo pissed dirty, period, end of discussion. I don't care how it got there, it was there.
Golovkin would be remiss to not talk as much **** as possible about a goddamn cheater.
No more PEDs for the cheating rat Canelo. He couldn't dent GGG with his best punch when he was roided to the gills, he isn't going to do it in May.
i dont think canelo is going to stop ggg, roids or not, i think he will outbox him... canelo isnt going to get a ko unless ggg gets wreckless... if ggg goes street fighting mode like he did vs brook then it could happen... but ggg is smart and he knows when to do this, he didnt do it with lemule, jacobs and canelo for a reason...
csnt wait for cinco de mayo..

Not true. Canelo is the one who tested positive for something. Leave Floyd and Ward out of your trolling, bro!

probably the clause instead refers to a fighter "failing the test" and technically that might require more than just a positive result.
at first i tought that gggs team was trying to get under canelos skin, but it seems like the opposite is happening... as focused as he was in the first fight he missed punches like crazy (like 500), if he isnt 100pct for the rematch it could be a long night for him, or even short, lol..
