Is there anyone currently doing more to damage the credibility of boxing than Floyd? Not hating, but fighting one of your social media buddies seems like a finger to the fighters working toward recognition and reputation.
Thousands of capable boxers are currently facing financial ruin due to global economic conditions, but the platform has been offered to a non boxer again.
Considering the wealth and influence floyd already has, this is quite shameful really.
Yes, I was Ok with him cherrypicking all his career. Even Corrales was a soft touch. Cool now?
Do you even have half a brain?
Just shut up biased tw a t
You got it all wrong, fans mold boxing, the players just take advantage of their situation when they can, they are prize fighters they all seek the biggest prize but only a few find it.
If money is to be made there will be people come out to make it, the names are irrelevant.
You were also content with Floyd never fighting real threats at their best after maybe Corrales and Castillo (lost)
And: What's my ilk? Someone with half a brain?

Yep.. Us Floyd fans are content with whatever Floyd does in retirement. Kudos and all the best to him.
Wasted energy from you and your ilk.
And yeah, please buy that PPV ya IDIOT. It's what you do

Yeah, dis GGG for fighting actual boxers who are contenders for his world title but defend Floyd for fighting Youtubers who are 0-2. Sounds about right for you and those like you

Milk it, Floyd.

This is the normal objective point of view here. To bad so many other people are dumb ass fanboys.
I get making money off your name but disrespecting what got you there in the first place instead of growing it? Damn. Theres only so many times you can have these "exhibitions" before they are embarassing.
Like could you imagine if Floyd did something positive where he would have to work and give back.
For example. Look how Ultimate fighter built UFCs brand. You have the big names participate. Those who parcipate because their own fighter.
And that's not saying Ultimate fighter made UFC. Its saying they expanded the audience and got people invested.
Mayweather is all about making the most money possible and he never keep that a secret. He does not care about what is good for boxing. He only cares about getting richer than the very rich man he already is. But he is not the only one making joke fights that hurts boxing's credibility. That ugly fight between washed up 50 something Jones and Tyson made a fortune and we are in for more old timer fights like that. The Paul brothers are making more money than most excellent pro boxers and they can't even fight worth a damn. As long as these joke fights make huge money they are going to get made and that is just the way things are. Fortunately good fights between good prime boxers are still being made too. It is up to fans what they want to watch.
People take it far too seriously
It’s an ex pro moving around the ring with a celebrity. If people wanna pay for it and it entertains them, good for them. If people don’t wanna buy it, then they won’t.
The current state of boxing would be in a much better place of fighters like Spence and Crawford would fight each other, that’s the real problem with boxing, not a retired fighter sparring YouTubers.
deathofaclown showing once again why he's one of the best posters on here.
I agree with every word.

Preach it bro!!!!
There is to much politics, egos and marinating in boxing the fights that are supposed to happen never do or happen when both fighters are way passed their peak.
UFC is so much better in this aspect.
It really is a major issue in Boxing.
I'm not too sure what you are asking of Floyd here. You need to ask yourself why these pro Boxers are struggling and can you place the blame on Floyd? Personally I can't see how you could.
Only way Floyd helps directly is if he fights all these struggling pro's one after the other, but I'd call that a Boxing career and Floyd has already had one of those.
If Boxers and Boxing is struggling then I think Floyd bringing the sport to a wider market could be seen as a good thing rather than a bad one.
But if Floyd fighting can make massive money and sales, if Mike Tyson and RJJ can make massive money and sales then there is no reason why the current pro's cant. If you want to look to blame somebody for something look at the current crop and what's going wrong there.

This is a very bizarre way of seeing this just to take a shot at Floyd.
You really think Floyd is responsible for helping all fighters make money?
Why aren’t those men responsible for building their own brand?
Seems like hatin to me. If Floyd was "irrelevant" no one would care what he does with anything. That man got it out the mud with no handouts. Floyd did it to show whoever it concerns it could be done!

Also the platform has been offered to Floyd and Logan Paul because they make money. They’re not being given charity, they are earning money that they bring in through their own marketing and hard work in the past.
If there is boxers who are not making money, struggling and have no profile then it’s because they don’t promote themselves well or they’re not good enough. you could give them the same platform, But the show would end up in debt because those guys don’t bring any money, so what is the point?
That’s the harsh reality of any industry right now.
Yeah it’s a shame some smaller name fighters are struggling at the minute because there isn’t a lot of shows available for them, but that’s nothing to do with Floyd and Logan Paul. It’s appealing to a totally different demographic.

ANY boxer can do what Floyd is doing in fighting an exhibition , but most won’t be successful at it from a money standpoint. He built his name and now he retired and can do what he wants while making money off of his name. Anyone that’s smart won’t buy this match as there are other ways to watch but ppl will and then complain about it.
