Quigg would beat Frampton. Said it from day one, size, reach, power, accuracy, timing and he lives it. He said in an interview he dosen't have friends because all he wants to do is train and fight, he sleeps in the back of his car outside the gym - he has that desire IMO to beat someone like Frampton.
A lot of bitter Americans in here, Kell is having a homecoming and he could easily face Bundu yet he is considering Rios, Guerrero or Berto all big names and good fights. I'll be there for sure, it's funny how Pacquiao could fight Rios though isnt it. Kell is likely going to fight Rios, beat the **** out of him -fight Khan at Wembley and then Marquez later on in the year. That's a good run of fights if you ask me.
Different types of power. GGG has that sharp, precise power. Kovalev that clubbing type of power and Wilder has concussive power. You cant compare them.
The only thing Khan does better than Brook is throw fast punches, even then Brook has pretty swift punches of his own. He would take Khan out. Thurman is a toss up, although I'm not sure Thurman has the chin or boxing ability to beat Brook - he would need to land something big. Id lean towards Brook by stoppage if Thurman's chin held up against the straight right.
Brook and Thurman will fight eventually, probably after Brook has finished with Khan. Golden Boy need to start getting Thurman some real fights like Alexander or Guerrero.
Brook would find a way. I could see him jabbing Manny's head off and landing the cleaner shots, he would also physically manhandle him. Pacquiao is past it now, he does not excite me anymore. The fire is gone.
Thurman isn't as big as the likes of Brook, Maidana in my opinion. He looks on par with Khan, although Khan was like 160lbs against Collazo but didn't look it at all.
The only thing Khan does better than Brook is faster hand speed, Brook holds every advantage over the has been - Khan reeks of inferiority nowadays. Brook stops him inside 6 rounds and becomes Khan's new daddy alongside both Garcia, Peterson and Prescott.
And so the downplaying of Brook's win commences. Khan was favorite against Maidana and had everyone on his dick already, Brook was apparently a 'Euro-bum' that happened to expose the beast that was Shawn Porter.
I have seen Kell a couple of days after the Saldivia fight. The guy looked at least 170, on fight night he comes in around 165 id say maybe a little more. He is certainly one of the biggest. Brook, Porter, Berto, Ortiz and Maidana id say.
I love Thurman he is definitely a future king at WW, but I saw a weakness in the Karrass fight where he got shaken badly. I couldnt help but think if that was a Maidana, Pacquiao or Brook it would be over, id expect Brook to frustrate him with the jab and because of Keith's mentality he likes to please the fans so Id expect him to open up and get over aggressive. I think he would leave himself open to the straight right hand, the power makes it a 50/50 fight though. But id slightly favor Brook.
Khan would start quick but Brook would be landing the harder, more effective shots. Once Brook measures him he would use his superior timing and accuracy, alongside his concussive power, and put Khan to sleep. Probably around round 5 or 6 if Khan didn't get too reckless. If Khan comes for a tear up, he would probably get knocked out within 2 rounds.
Khan looks fat with little muscle mass, at least when people like Canelo and Brook gain weight between fights they look stocky. Khan is a naturally skinny person, he has little muscle and carry's a lot of fat. He also should shut the **** up about fighting in December and start to work out again, because he is carrying 25-30lbs of fat he needs to get off and it is going to be a very bad weight cut.
Ariza is the shiftiest guy in boxing.
You watch his interviews and he comes across as a decent guy, but then you think back to some of the **** he has done.
Khan will get stopped with a left hook.
That is exactly why he wont take the fight, he wants to fight Lopez so he can at least get paid to get beat up by either Mayweather or Brook.
The decline I have seen in Mayweather hasnt been steady like Pac. He has all of a sudden gone very downhill IMO, he dosen't look the same at all. There is no way he retires undefeated now, I just cant see it considering he will have another fight a YEAR from now where he will have slowed down even more.
Alvarez was his last great performance.
It's almost surreal to be talking to people who reckon Floyd could be beaten by average guys like Khan because of how great he was, the Floyd that beat Cotto, Hatton etc. would have won every round against Maidana convincingly, maybe stopped him to the body.
It's simple: Khan knows he will lose to the top guys, but knows he can get paid for Brook or Mayweather. He knows he will lose to both, but would rather lose to Mayweather so he can still say 'Everyone loses to Floyd, id still beat Brook'. He knows if he fights Thurman in December, neither will happen because he will get knocked out.
That's the mentality of Khan, we ALWAYS hear abou how Khan is looking at Guerrero, Alexander, Thurman etc. but they never happen, why? Al Haymon could get it together, so why dosent it happen? Because Khan mentions names, dosent try to make the fights and then when it doset he says they ducked him and he knows his fanatic fans will believe him and just say 'Khan is too quick, blah blah he would beat them blah blah'.
Bradley is probably the most underrated fighter out there IMO, needs to get a fight lined up soon. I was always a big fan but the way he did Marquez was hilarious, especially that 12th round when he wobbled him.
Carl Froch never has and never will duck anyone. The guy has the best chin, and one of if not the best resumes out there but if he wants to fight Chavez or DeGale for the money then he has earn't it. The amount of hard fights the guy has had in a row is ridiculous.
