I mean Molina, coo tune-up, Diaz okay, he's still rebounding, Collazo yawn...okay next fight will be the one, now Jose Lopez....dude this is gettin ****in sad.
I'm a Khan fan, and I'm getting frustrated with this nonsense.
Way to waste two years of your prime.
It's simple: Khan knows he will lose to the top guys, but knows he can get paid for Brook or Mayweather. He knows he will lose to both, but would rather lose to Mayweather so he can still say 'Everyone loses to Floyd, id still beat Brook'. He knows if he fights Thurman in December, neither will happen because he will get knocked out.
That's the mentality of Khan, we ALWAYS hear abou how Khan is looking at Guerrero, Alexander, Thurman etc. but they never happen, why? Al Haymon could get it together, so why dosent it happen? Because Khan mentions names, dosent try to make the fights and then when it doset he says they ducked him and he knows his fanatic fans will believe him and just say 'Khan is too quick, blah blah he would beat them blah blah'.
This is why I am not a Khan fan. He keeps saying he deserves fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao. He does not deserve these fights until he beats a top 10 world rated welterweight and I mean rated top 10 by everybody. He was KOed by Garcia 26 months ago. He has had only 3 fights since then. Every fight he has had since the Garcia loss I have gone to boxrec to see where his opponent was ranked because they are the only ones that rank fighters so far below top ten. Molina was not even in the top 100 and Diaz was not in the top 50. Collazo was ranked 28th. If he fights Lopez that would be the best fighter he has fought since Garcia because Lopez is ranked number 24 right now. If Khan fights and defeats Brook he will have actually earned a Mayweather fight and will most likely get the Mayweather fight. I think Brook will probably knock Khan out if they fight.

I think he kept holding out for a Mayweather fight and didn't want to slip up against someone again.
I think there's only one opponent who makes the most sense for Khan right now and that's Keith Thurman. Think about it; Brook just beat the undefeated powerhouse Shawn Porter and Khan can match that by beating another undefeated powerhouse in Keith Thurman. This is would be the perfect way to hype up a match between Khan and Brook. Plus, beating Thurman would also make Khan the mandatory for one of Floyd's belts.
This would also be the perfect opportunity for Thurman to beat big name and finally putting an end to all of this "he ain't beat nobody" mess. Yester, Thurman even said that Khan is one of the guys he wants to fight.
So right now, I'm all for Khan vs. Thurman.
That makes great sense, however it is highly unlikely because Khan has little desire to get in the ring with Thurman. Screw the nonsense BS, that Thurman doesn't bring anything to the table ... What more does Lopez bring to the table than Thurman ....... Its a con-job.

He chases fights and over looks decent opposition. . . . Should have fought Devon Alexander when he had the chance, has opportunity to fight Thurman or Brook now, but if his eyes are hungry for Floyd or Pac he'll over look those and end up fighting someone **** instead.

Its quite simple, Khan is keeping the risk at a minimal, in order to land high payday fights.
Its not too difficult to see what Khan and his team are doing. For example: Team Khan would rather sit on the shelf than take a risky opponent prior to a potential Brook fight.
Brook and Mayweather are pretty top shelf opposition so at least he is angling to face some of the better guys. It is kind of lame is he going the attrition route to this degree but it is hard to even fault him at this point because he is about to get the payoff after playing this game for so long.
It would be awful dumb of him to blow him brains out 10 meters from the finish line.

Ghost was offered the fight before Collazo, but declined
It seems Ghost doesnt want it with Khan, as much as he claims he does
Devon also wants no part of Khan
Not much left out there for Khan, minus Thurmann, which is too big of a risk,
I hope Devon or the Ghost fights can be made, it takes two to tango,
Lopez is a waste of fight, yes he is a name, but i dont see Khan gettin motivated
He's gonna get one of them, sadly. Still doesn't do anything for me. I want to see him in tough, with top opposition.
I don't accept anything less from my fav fighters, win lose or draw.
of course he will, most likely brook and maybe he can still get that floyd fight but i doubt he gets past brook.
he doesn't want to, he want an easy way to brook/mayweather.

Mayweather lottery, with Khans chin they wanna preserve a chance, at this rate though their plan is doing more harm than good. Really they should get him a better fight.
To make matters worse even if he can't get Floyd that Brook fight is looking pretty big also so now he has something he can fall back on so there is not even that much risk of him getting left by the side of the road again.
It would be kind of funny if him playing it safe ends up hurting him again and he somehow misses out on both those opportunities.
The people behind him don't believe in him anymore. They're manoeuvring for a big payoff, not looking to climb the ladder the hard way again.
I think the setbacks have disheartened Khan too, despite his bravado.
he still thinks he's qualified for the Mayweather/Pacquiao fights and doesn't want to lose because he knows he's not good enough to be in there with someone like Keith Thurman or even Devon Alexander. It's what Cotto is doing now at middleweight, he knows he'll lose to the other top middleweights so he's waiting until May. That's been Khan's strategy for the last couple years now.
Really you just compared Khan to Cotto? GTFOH!
