Taylor impressed me and he did his thing in the first few rounds, but Hopkins, in my opinion, was the real winner of the fight. I do not agree with the decision but watever.
The Contender is good in that it can draw in more mainstream fans. More mainstream fans means more ppv buys and better ratings for the sport in the long run. No one is publicizing it as a world championship match. This was a reality show. This show gave insight into a group of charasmatic up-and-comers most of which the hardcore boxing public had never heard of. Nothing wrong with giving these guys the opportunity to further themselves and their career. I hope the show is picked up for another season. I have a hard time getting my boxing fix off of FSN reruns.

Sergio is a very good boxer and has his mind set when he's fighting. He's always mentally prepared and knows what he's gotta do.
BUT... im rooting for Manfredo on dis 1. He's came up ever since his elimination and coming back.
Itll be an interesting fight.
Retirement would probably be the best at this point.
I am certainly not taking anything away from Tito and I dont believe this fight takes away from his legacy. I cant believe some of the shit talking tito is receiving are all of the people forgetting the fact that before he retired his resume looked like this.

Remember too that when Vargas beat Wright in 1999 it was a majority dec and allot of people though Wright had done enough to win. Vargas hasn`t fought a world class fighter since 2002, I think i`d favour Wright in a rematch!

Jermain has never really been tested so it is unknown of what his potential really is. But B-hop always comes with plan A-Z and you better be adding new letters to the alphabet if you want to beat Hopkins. He is always game and on cue to serve up a technical ass whipping.
Yea, I think Bernard would whoop Jermain though. Winky and Jermain would be a good fight. Jermain is a boring fighter though. Im not really a fan of his but like spinks said, it is really unknown wha his potential really is.
