Who Will Win "The Contender"?

Why does everyone make a thread about this? Isn't one enough? For the third time, Mora will win.

Sergio is a very good boxer and has his mind set when he's fighting. He's always mentally prepared and knows what he's gotta do. BUT... im rooting for Manfredo on dis 1. He's came up ever since his elimination and coming back. Itll be an interesting fight.

I think the winner is gonna be Manfredo over Mora. Seven rounds is going to be enough for Manfredo to exert his higher quality experience to his advantage over the Latin Snake... The final matchup is a 10 rounder. My money is on Manfredo, he was hyped up through the whole show and I have no doubts it wouldnt be close but I say Sergio needs a KO to win.

i think the whole thing is fake, the show teaches nothing about boxing, its not good for boxing. yea the show is much worse than other things that go on in boxing, like the antics of king, tyson, the ABC organizations, phony rankings, promoters screwing fighters out of money, PPV mismatches(MAB vs fana?), etc.... the show really givs boxing a black eye :rolleyes:

Sturm sucks. They should fight De La Hoya, why should they choose the loser? Sturm worked Oscar, Golden Boy should not have won that fight... De La Hoya is not a middleweight anymore anyway-- he is barely a boxer at this point, I would not be all too suprised if he just decieded to promote for the rest of his days...

It's good exposure for the sport though. I tried hard not to like it but it grew on me. Now I gotta watch every episode and manages to get my adrenalin going with the suspense. I actually agree with you on that one :D

I am hoping that sergio wins, I like his attitude and his style. Although he doesn't have the best record in the house, he beat people in the show with records better then his own. It would really be cool to see him win in the end. His record is 14-0-0 and 3ko's, thats pretty good to me. He may not have punching power but he is exciting to watch unless the edits make it look that way. Anyway my picks on the latin snake.

Hey guys. I heard that this fight has already happened. There was a spoiler post a couple weeks ago and verything in that post has come true, so far. Is the final bout actually a live broadcast, or a recorded event?

Manfredo trains at my gym, so i am rooting for him. Even though i did not see even one episod of The Contender. Wow, that'd be cool to have such a fighter in your gym.
