He is a very strange individual. I think he suffers from split personalities. The guy can go from being the most gentle soft spoken modest individual to a complete fucking animal. Maybe he's bipolar. Bipolars tend to be big self-medicators, I think.

What if it's a fake article lol I don't know if its fake but its seems no one likes to hear about Tyson being happy.

Tyson sounds like he's going into a depression again... It's a shame... I think it would be nice if people just left him alone, but there are greedy promoters etc, and stupid Tyson fans that keep saying he'll win the World title again! Mike still may be down in the dumps, but he's lived it up like few can. I read this article in one of my Sports Illustrateds about his bills between '95-97 and I'll copy it down..... Tyson sounds like he's going into a depression again... It's a shame... I've read some of Tyson's comments, and interviews before, and after reading the first serious interview with him, I figured he wasn't so dumb. He's actually a pretty smart guy. I feel bad for him, because he's been screwed so many times. eXig3, Mike doesn't want to fight. He wants to close the books of his fighting career, and get on with his life. He fights for one reason: money. He has to earn it somehow, and he really has no other way of earning it.

Cus Damato is the one who fuc*ed Tyson up.. Teddy Atlas always said that Cus gave Mike preferential treatment and would never punish or discipline Mike when he fuc*ed up ... Cus no doubt loved Mike and cared about him but according to Teddy was blinded by his ways.. Teddy said that Cus had been screwed over by the boxing establishment his whole life and was gonna get back at them by producing "The greatest heavyweight champ ever"!! Then when Cus and Jimmy Jacobs died, Mike was lost after that!! I also think Cus messed up when he first introduced Mike to Jimmy Jacobs and Bill Cayton. Cus spoke so highly of Jimmy and told Mike how much he could trust him etc, but he only referred to Mr Cayton as Jimmy's assistant. So Mike never did have the same respect for Mr Cayton as he did for Jimmy, but we all know that Mr Cayton was the most genuinely good guy you could wish to meet. So when Jimmy died (probably Don King poisoning him lol), Mike hadn't clicked with Mr Cayton. Then we all know how King cancelled Mike's taxi to Jimmy's funeral and pulled up to take Mike himself... and ended up sweet-talking a vulnerable young man away from the safe hands of Mr Cayton and Kevin Rooney. King is scum. Mike was still living at Cus' old home with good people in the Catskills and not spending no money before hooking up with Miss gold-digger.. oops sorry I meant Robin Givens.

Ya tyson is broke, but at the same time did he really need a pet tiger??? the only quote that ever made me feel sorry for tyson was when he asked not to leave prison. when he got out he made millions, became the champ again, and had it all for the second time but..... if your happier behind bars something is really wrong.

It's about time we read/see an article not bashing the guy & showing the side most people don't wanna see. Good article but sad that he can't find happiness yet.

When I was young, I always thought Tyson was a crazy, deranged animal. But ever since a couple of months ago, I understand what his life is like, and all the pain that he has experienced.

But seriously that is a sad story and i just hope he can get out of this state of mind whilst he has a chance (ie doing the thing he obviously enjoys, boxing). Depression is a fucking horrible thing, i know quite a few people who suffer from it, and it is really upsetting. Come on Mike, win the world title, that will cheer you up. lol. I dunno about u guys but im supporting him on June 11.

If my father dies anytime soon I want you to adopt me...I will be the best most loving son you could ever imagine...all i ask is that you love me and take care of me back. Mike's never been "out of depression". He has it...chronicly. Mike isn't fighting because of fans and greedy promoters. He's fighting cuz he's $10 million in the hole. Well thats not strictly true. He is fighting because of greedy promotors as Don King took an unfair amount of the money he made out of Mike Tyson which in turn put him in debt.

df I really feel for Mike Tyson I hope he works everything out to make himself happy. I wil always root for Tyson because he is so human and everyone tries to make him seem like an animal.
