Gabe took more money and is fighting one of the most feared fighters in boxing on HBO. He could have had a better chance at winning the IBF title at 154lbs against K9 Bundrage but also isn't gonna bring the money and the TV time that the Golovkin fight brings.
Everyone liked D Garcia when he was on a tear in his last 5 fights but he has 1 bad fight and now he's a bum.
The problem with Garcia is that he's not fighting at the right weight he should be fighting at welterweight and I think he beats most welterweights the only 147lbs fighters that he won't be able to beat are Mayweather, Pacquiao, JM Marquez and Tim Bradley. And would have close fights against Maidana and Broner. He beats paulie M, porter, Alexander, Khan, Guerrero, Brook, Thurman, Provodnikov, and Peterson at 147lbs Garcia will get better as he learns with every fighter he faces but he's not ready for the top 4 welterweights yet.
I still believe in Garcia's skills and I'm sticking with him
I heard he had some kinda health problems that's preventing him from fighting but im not sure what kinda health problems he had must be serious if he's not fighting.
I liked Cote and he was on a tear before he started having health problems.
Ive seen Raymi fight as a pro but all he's opponents do is cover up and run away they dont fight back because they are pumped up undefeated D level fighters that dont know how to fight back and i also think he's fights are fixed.
Also can someone tell me why there are so many undefeated fighters from Yemen.
I wonder how he'll do against a top 20 opponent or a title holder in the strawweight division or in the light flyweight division. I would like to see if this dude is for real or if he's just another hype job. It's time for Ali Raymi to come out of Yemen and step up let's see if Raymi is for real...
You just cant recognize greatness even when it's staring you in the face son :boxing:
I didn't know greatness was knocking out out nobodies in Yemen.
If Raymi is so great then why isnt he being matched against a top 20 rated fighter.
Raymi has fought nobodies in Yemen that's why he's knocking out everyone in the first round. It's laughable to even think that Raymi would even last 3 to 4 rounds against one the best defensive slick fast counterpunchers in the game today. The only fighter that has the skilles like Rigo is Mayweather.
The first 5 guys Raymi fought were making their debuts. The next 5 guys Raymi fought only had 1 fight. and the next 10 guys Raymi fought were no older then 22 years old and had a combined record of 52-0 against very poor competition.
Raymi is 40 years old, late to the game but im sure he'd have no trouble against the current title holders WBC Zhong, IBO/WBA Interim Budler, IBF Takayama, WBO Sabillo or WBO Interim Buitrago.
Rigo would KO Raymi in no less then 3 to 4 rounds without breaking a sweat.
Mayweather said that he won't fight Pac as long as Pac's with Top Rank. Also it's the promoters (Top Rank, Golden Boy, and TMT) that should be pushing for that fight. so as long as this Cold War between Top Rank and Golden Boy continues the less likely this fight and other high profile fights ever happen.
Rigo would school Ali Raymi. I don't think Raymi would last 4 rounds with Rigo.
All 20 of Raymi's opponents were undefeated but had less then 10 fights as professionals + the opposition they fought were no name D level fighters.
And as an amateur Raymi was 31-1 with 31 Ko's were as Rigo has had over 400 fights as an amateur.
I say if Rigo and Raymi ever fought Rigo would Knockout Raymi in no less then 4 rds.
But I do think Raymi does have a chance to win a title at 105 lbs against WBC title holder
Xiong Zhao Zhong or IBF title holder Katsunari Takayama or maybe he could fight IBO/WBA interim title holder Hekkie Budler for the vacant WBA minimumweight title.
Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs. Marco Huck
Arash Usmanee vs. Diego Magdaleno
Sergei Kovalev vs. Mikkel Kessler
Lucas Matthysee vs. Ruslan Provodnikov
Marcos Maidana vs. Kell Brook
Daniel Ponce De Leon vs. Vic Darchinyan
Gennady Golovkin vs.George Groves
Adrien Broner vs. Lucas Matthysee at (140)lbs
Roman Gonzalez vs. Akira Yaegashi at (112)lbs
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Moruti Mthalane at (115)lbs
Thinking of fights that have the potential to end up being wars, except for the last fight on the list.
Does Uncle Bobby have any opponents lined up for Kelly Pavlik yet. Arum should give him an easy fight or two just so kelly can get back into the ranking in the super middleweight division and if he wins hopefully bigger fights like Bute Kessler or Froch would come along for Kelly
wouldnt mind seeing a Pac-Bradley as long as it doesn't end by Bradley headbut. Peterson doesn't bring anything to the table come to think of it neither does Bradley but atleast he's fought better competition. Should go down like this. Pac vs Bradley june 9th Mayweather vs either Cotto or Alvarez may 5th and Peterson vs either Khan or Marquez.
This fight has a change to be great although both fighters are exceptionially good in there own right Rigo's experence should help him win this fight by a close decision.
My prediction is Rigo by 12 RD UD

and if you need to view more fights just go to espn.com/boxing then click on schedule on top of page to view all fights that have been made and to read and get updates as to whats going on in the world of boxing also other good sites to view are *********.com lots of news on that site. ******.com mostly for ratings and blogs. boxrec.com is information about any fighter that has ever fought pro. couple other fighters i like to watch that produce great fights are yuriokis Gamboa is an animal sergio martinez is lightning quick. i hope this helped a little if i had more time i could explain more if need be for more information post return.
Gamboa can push Mikey Garcia if Gamboa fights like he used to and not like he has in he's last 2 fights. Garcia get into defensive lull's sometimes and a fighter like Gamboa can press the action on Garcia and capitalize on that.
I think Garcia-Gamboa is one of the best fights that can be made in 2014.
