What happened to Pier Oliver Côté?

I heard he had some kinda health problems that's preventing him from fighting but im not sure what kinda health problems he had must be serious if he's not fighting. I liked Cote and he was on a tear before he started having health problems. Wow that sucks, I never heard of him being sick. Must've been very serious for him to stop so quickly.

Dude was my favorite prospect after I saw that vicious KO on the Bute-Johnson undercard. Then he fell off the face of the Earth.

I heard he has some condition that seems similar to anemia.. Story was that he was coming in to camp fine then would fatigue after a day or two and nobody knew what it was! I take it they couldn't resolve it as he hasn't fought since! It's a pity as the kid was had a lot of potential, he had great athleticism, and scary power!

Dude was kicking ass and taking names, I saw Bute's name and it reminded me of him. I know, that little dude was scary man. As he usually only fought on Bute's undercards, it seems as one career went down the drain, so did another.
