One of the best active fighters today.
At his prime scared the hell out of you know who.
Fought almost everyone that is anyone in boxing right now.
What you think?
The Sergio fight can be either Cotto's greatest win or he might just get KO'ed. The odds are against Miguel, no doubt. That's why he is a lock in the HOF already. Cotto is definitely in my top fav fighters.
Alvarez, Castillo, Corrales, Mosley, DLH, Corley, Hatton, just to name a few. But he's moved through more weight classes than Cotto has and wasn't beaten by guys like Trout and Margarito. Beat the guy convincingly who had just beaten Trout. Mayweather's a better fighter than Cotto point blank end of story.
Past prime Mosley compared with Mosley cotto fought.
Green and drained Alvarez
LOL
Past prime Oscar who loss all his big fights.
His resume is shiiiiit compared with cotto.
Weren't you asked if Cotto beats Martinez would you consider him an ATG? Not right now, if he wins.
Beating a 39 year old inactive middleweight riddled with injuries who went life and death with Martin Murray doesn't launch you into all time great status. His resume right now isn't anywhere near ATG and that's probably why you haven't listed Cottos top ten wins.
He isn't an ATG, not even close, what are his top 10 wins?
The only people who think he's an ATG don't know the history of the sport.

What are Floyd's top ten wins?

Near prime atleast. :poke:
He was past prime but still a nice win, the fact that it is by far and away Cottos best speaks volumes in regards to a supposed ATG standing.
What are Floyd's top ten wins?
I'm unsure how that's relevant, especially with Floyd having much more meaningful wins than Cotto. It's funny how that's how you responded to the post rather than name Cottos ten best victories.

Truth make you sick?

If he wins, he deserves to IMO.
If he loses, unfortunately he still makes it. The IBHOF isn't very prestigious and doesn't have high standards at all. Popularity and a mediocre resume gets you in, which is what Cotto has. His best wins IMO are Malignaggi, Judah and Quintana. I thought Clottey beat him and the Mosley fight was a draw.
Doesn't matter that he fought Margarito, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Trout, they all beat him.
If Cotto loses to Martinez but still makes it, Vargas should get in too. Vargas losing to Trinidad, Mosley, Mayorga, and De La Hoya but controversially beating Winky and beating Ike Quartey, Campas, Rivera and Raul Marquez beats Cotto's resume, should Cotto lose to Martinez.
Lol. This post is good. Cotto should be in the HOF by it's standards but he shouldn't be considered an ATG like somebody else mentioned. That's insane.

No, alt. Who do you think he scared the hell out of? And of course he goes to the HOF regardless. He's one of the sport's biggest draws for years and years. There's no way he doesn't go.
Cotto's already a lock, winning a 4th title brings him back into the discussion of p4p fighters though.
If he wins impressively how high do you have him.
