Point still holds, both agreed to have a money fight for a lineal belt at a catchweight just 1 pound over a weightclass below them.
Both of them are terrible Divas who ducked their mandatory.
No, it doesn't. It goes COMPLETELY AGAINST the first intial statement you made; that Canelo forced Cotto to fight him at a CW when in fact Cotto wanted a CW.
He fights Khan, a chinny welterweight without a belt and plans to fight more fighters a couple divisions lower, like retired Manny or a rematch with old, half shot Cotto
Again, it goes against the initial point you tried to present. Until he has these other defenses against these other bums in lower weights, then it is nothing but speculation.
Khan is a bum when it comes to Middleweight. How can you deny that? Unranked, untested. Resume = None.
Where did I deny that Khan is a bum? Don't try and flip the argument here. You lied and tried to say that Canelo was having multiple defenses of his MW strap at CWs while GGG was collecting all the belts in that time. That is a lie.
If GGG said no, then you would come out claiming GGG is ducking Canelo, didnt even let the boxing fans have the huge Cotto fight you fans have waited for
No, I wouldn't say he was ducking. I would say he is consistent and honest. It would truly sow that he wants the WBC strap and that unification was the only goal.
By allowing the step aside money and Voluntary defense, it shows me that the belt is a far 2nd on GGG and his teams true intentions.
GGG showed goodwill at first, just because they trusted Oscar/Canelo, they thought they were men of their word and got betrayed.
You obviously applaud liars and Divas which i find extremely weird.
Goodwill my ass. He wanted the big fight, with the big named stars so he could get that PPV money and fame and tried to use the belt as some sort of sideshow...................... and he got punked by Cotto and is getting punked by Canelo.
Then what's the reason to bring all that up?
They still use these comments as excuses why they don't have to fight GGG. It makes no sense. How long has GGG been mandatory? Why force GGG to fight at 155 for a 160lb title?
Why bring up names from other divisions who have nothing to do with the MW belt? Why so scared, why so defensive, why all these excuses and claims?
Why not make the fight the fans want to see?
To protect Canelo's image.
Let's be honest, GGG resume is dogsh1t. You'll have a hard time convincing the casual public that a guy with that type of resume is a known threat. It puts across a picture that the guy isn't really that good and it would be a waste of time.
Using the other fighters names is a way to also protect Canelo's image. Saying rubbish like, "Canelo has fought Lara, Trout, Cotto etc tough guys." "GGG refused to fight Ward, Lara etc, why is that? Because he isn't that good"
It's child BS 101.
You don't seem to be stupid, I guess you get the point but for some unknown reason you pick and choose whatever suits your agenda for trying to defend Canelo, even you realize what he does is terrible because you somehow hate GGG, which is pathetic in itself.
Anyway this leads to nothing. I guess you just can't help yourself to prove a point, even if it means damaging the sport you love. Sad.
I'm not damaging anything and I never said I pick Canelo's side. I never said I hate GGG either. I just see that both sides are FOS and I refuse to let the opposing fanbases try and push their biased agendas at me.
I don't want to be like Steve Kim or Fat Dan.
