And that is why ESB sank faster than the Titanic. They let hateful write articles for there front page. Read through some and you can clearly see some of these guys just aren't writers
No Mitchell losing to Arreola is a perfect example of a lifelong fighter vs a very late starter getting destroyed because you don't simply pick up this sport at 25 and expect to be world class or even close to it. It just doesn't happen typically in boxing##. There is more to this sport than being athletic or strong and looking the part.
I still can't phatham how Mitchell was WBC #2
Ruiz got to Haye so much David had to repeatedly pound on the back of his head in order to get the win. This is a ****ty old Ruiz showing up for a final payday after going 3-3 in his last 6 fights
School me in a debate? Like conveniently forgetting that Lewis was in fact the WBA champion, but chose to relinguish it instead of fighting Ruiz? Is that schooling nowadays? Maybe in your tiny mind.
In my mind, it is being completely ignorant on the subject and therefore a complete waste of my time. So are you. Many esteemed and long serving, respected posters have told you in this very thread how wrong you are on so many levels, and now you think you can man up and give something back? You would first have to acquire a wealth of knowledge that you have thus far proven to be totally inexistent, hence there's no point in me arguing with you or the polishbummer back and forth, because it won't change the fact that neither of you know wtf you are talking about.
I couldn't care less about your troll points. 397k - thanks but no thanks.
TROLL
Oh so you were very aware that Ruiz was just the WBA title holder and not the HW Champion of the World.
Nice try though pumping up a 40 year old shot fighter in order to suit your agenda in making Haye's porous resume sound better. That might work on a non or even casual Boxing fan but not here junior.
Now reply with calling me a troll:kabong:
Did Pulev not impress last night ? I saw a fight that was unappeasing on the eye,due to The Tiger's southpaw stance and spoiling tactics.Thompson never once had Kubrat in trouble.why would Haye be considered better than Pulev ? Pulev will fight anybody, can the same be said of Haye? No,he picks and chooses opponents like Harrison,Barrett and Chisora.
How quickly Haye fans have forgot his pansy performances against Wlad and Valuev!
The fighter makes the belt not the other way around. British media and some posters like to skew there words in order to make someone look better than they are. Ruiz former 2 time world HW champion sounds better than reality. Former 2 time WBA titlist!!!!
Lennox Lewis was never The HW champ of the world if Brits call Ruiz the former 2 HW champ of the world! How can you have 2 at the same time?
Haye fans don't want to touch this one. And I don't blame them because there is no comeback for this one
He is right....he knows Frank's paid off judges and ref were doing everything they can to help him along.
Frank assured him a points win so long as he see's the final bell.
Mmmmmm Funny thread!?!?
I was at the Haye/Ruiz fight and I thought Ruiz made a good account for himself.. But Haye was always winning, Ruiz took some heavy shots in that fight most would have been dropped and out early on!
Yes after the first clean KD Ruiz took some heavy shots to the back of his head....over and over
Those brothers have the best job in the world. I have no idea what they do for a lving but they seem to make money and they get to see every big fight and hangin out with the fighters.
I hate when these 2 ugly ass chipmunk faced nobodies shove there face in camera view during every post fight interview.
A Frank Warren WBO paper chump who had his title handed to him rather than winning it in the ring...gee that has never happened before.
Kovalev savages the paper chump.
lol you have got to be joking. Pulev who struggled with TT who Haye used as a sparring partner? Or Povetkin that lost to Huck? :439:
Yes I do expose you from time to time. Like when you said Wlad-Fury would be a good fight, then bashed Haye for taking the fight.
Or when you said Haye didn't want any of Fury because he would smash Haye into retirement, only to say it was a complete mismatch after it was made.
Yes, against the same Haye who struggled against Lolenga Mock,Carl Thompson,Old Valuev,Monte Barret,Mormeck,Wlad, Ruiz at times.
No, his hand and foot speed, power and elusiveness do though. Who would you say is the second most gifted in this truly crappy era of talent?
I can agree that he has better physical attributes than most(not the height and size though!!!!) but as history has proven that is not everything in this sport. 5 HW wins in 5 years against some some sub par competion does not make him stand out above everyone.
Is it fair to say he gets far too much praise for doing so little?
