Margarito didn't use plaster before fighting Shane Mosley. Yeah right. They ask to look at his handwraps and coincidently he got caught. If Nazir Richardson wasn't there he would be plasterizing all his way into inmortality. He should've wrap his title around his bricks, because they won the title for him.
I would be a shame not to see the Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight. I like to see that one first and then see him fight Pacquiao. Now is the time I dont want excuses that Mosley is old so I like to see that fight now while he's the champion. If Floyd doesn't fight Mosley it will always be remember as the fight that never happen when it could.
That's great... but Roy was never a heavyweight, and his last fight was at 175lbs... so uh, yeah.
thats why I mean Pac ain't no real welter weight and pac has also moved up a lot in weight. There's some similarities thats all.
True :fing02:
But Ruiz wasn't gonna touch him.
Manny is much faster at this stage than jones, but jones was small enough to be too quick for Ruiz. Manny was fast even for lightweights and he's much younger than Jones when Jones fought John Ruiz.
Weigh in:
Roy Jones 193lbs John Ruiz 223lbs.
Weigh in:
Pacquiao 144lbs Cotto 145lbs.
thats how heavy weights fights are. tyson and holyfield were much smaller than all their opponents.
Face it Juanma is at the top because of his knocking power. So he needs more experience to be ready for bigger fights. Only those who want to see him get knocked out want him to rush a fight with Caballero. Why make him fight someone when he's not ready unless you just want to see him lose. I'm sure when the time comes he'll fight Caballero and if he loses at least there isn't an excuse.
I dont think Juanma is ready for Caballero. He needs one more fight because Juanma is just 26 years of age. At 26 Caballero wasn't ready either and got knocked the FK out. Caballero just wants to get Juanma Raw he doesn't wat him to pick up his game. He knows Juanma is vulnerable now while Caballero's time is ticking.
I got to say that cotto is much more powerful than Mayweather. no secret there. So if Mayweather could knock out Hatton imagine what Cotto can do. Its not like Hatton is an hard moving target. He's there for the taking.
No he can't. Lets be real Clottey wasn't that off balance like people make him out to be.
Clottey is one tough dude. Cotto didn't even hit him that hard.
taking a knee = i quit *universal translation*
:lol1:
If Pac takes a knee will you call him a quitter? I bet not.
You're only hoping he doesn't. If Pac wouldn't quit if he was in Cotto situation he would get knocked out. But I got to admit that a fighter that takes on all opponents no matter how dangerous they are isn't a quitter. Not Cotto or Pacquiao are quitters their just being human.
I'm surprised people always talk about his training. Its like they've never seen him fight before
I thought he'd put on a bigger effort knowing he's fighting the speedy Pacquiao, because a fighter just can't rely on being quick when he doesn't practice his foot work or have faster routines in training. He should be practicing that everyday.
Mosley would have to be really jacked with steroids to beat Trinidad. Trinidad would beat him just like he did to Reid and Whitaker. It doesn't matter if you boxed or you can hit at 147 Tito is king. At 154 mosley sucks.
No way. Boxers back then use to go 15 rounds even more. I'm not comparing skill level but there alot stronger fighters that were tough to beat. theres alot more sterods use these days just like in other sports. So it ain't all natural.
Clottey is an interesting fighter that can walk through punches. I believe Cotto still the best behind is Williams and then mosley, but if Clottey wins I put him around the top two spots. I think Clottey will surprise Cotto which will mark Cottos end.
What else would Arum say? He cant say he's worst than the guy before because Manny has beaten them all. They got to make this fight look like Manny's biggest challenge to date even if it isn't.
