Well can he? Regardless of the off balance issue, because if you know boxing than you know that Clottey stepped in with his hands a bit down and it was a well time powerful jab an no off balance issue.
discuss.....
Thanks God the fight is one corner away because the people no longer know what to talk about and now they only talk s__t, being this thread the best example.
when packy destroys cotto... wonder what excuses youre going to come up with...
and pull already answered your question, no need to say more
queers

l@me.
Isn't there a quote out there with you saying that you just started to watch boxing?
this pretty much sums up this idiot's life...pac 777...
even caldy/paulie... and probably amir too
:lol1:

We get it though...you don't know sh!t so that is why you talk sh!t so much!
No he can't. Lets be real Clottey wasn't that off balance like people make him out to be.
Clottey is one tough dude. Cotto didn't even hit him that hard.
Peepz here just hate on other boxers.
I mean I am Puertorican and a Cotto fan BUT:
I think Floyd is the best boxer right now.
I said that Marg would beat Cotto.
I thought that Mosley would beat Cotto.
I thought that the Clottey fight could have gone either way.
SRR is my favorite fighter and the GOAT!
What can't peepz be unbiased on this site?
listen to this shitboi :lol1:
even paulie or calderon could have gotten the kd
Get out of my thread if you cant answer the question. f@g.
It's not my fault Pac's jab is a lesser calibers than Cotto's.

LMAO! ^^^ OH GOD!..
That Jab is DEADLY and Pacquiao isn't known for havin the greatest balance!!..I can't wait to see his lil ass try and jump in..and get smacked in the jaw with one of those!!..
Yeapp...I'm telling you that chin of his better be 10x better than Clottey's because Clottey has a granite chin.
Or else he's getting chin-check.
Clottey was not off balance...Stop letting hatred take over!!! Look at the fvcking video. Clottey was starting to throw a left, and Cotto timed him perfectly and landed with his well known jab. Clottey got beat to the punch and paid for it.
Sadly, only some people would agree with us, friend.
Those who have practiced the sport and know the difference between balance and a powerful well timed jab.

jaja. I understand you man. I normally do not post much, but pullcounter is completely off. He does not understand that by ANY means this was not luck. Was clottey off balance, yes. But it was cotto who was able to time him when clottey was off balance (You can see in the replay that as soon as clottey makes an intiation to attack cotto immediately throws the jab, thus timing it perfectly in order to cause the knockdown). There was pure intention by cotto to throw that jab at that SPECIFIC moment in time when clottey attacked since Cotto knew Clottey would be off balance. hat is skill and timing my man. Nothing to do with luck.
Pullcounter will never understand, you explained it to him various times in a moronproof manner, after that if he does not understand oh well, not much you can do
Great post and you make very good points! And I agree with you 100% on that there is not much we can do to explain it to Pullcounter.
It was not luck at all. Cotto timed the jab specifically at that moment in which Clottey initiated his attack (Cotto KNEW that in that moment Clottey would be off balance, hence why there was no luck involved, it was great skill by cotto to identify that moment and throw his jab). Pullcounter assumes that by Clottey being off balance this is all luck, that is where he is wrong. He is off balance but it takes great skill by cotto to identify that "off balance'' moment and throw the jab.
As to answer the thread, I do not believe pacquiao can do it. First because he does not have an authoritative jab by any means. Second it takes great timing and skill (and TECHNICAL boxing knowledge) in order to throw the jab at the perfect time. Pacquiao is far from being a technical fighter, he is very athletic and skilled, but he definitely lacks the technical side.
basically we are saying the same thing, but you guys are using different definitions and semantics.
cotto landed a great jab, but clottey was off balance hence the knockdown.
Where does luck fall in?
