After all the rumors about Pacquiao possibly using performance enhancing drugs, it looks possible that the Mayweathers may place certain stipulations in the fight contract which would oblige both fighters to undergo mandatory independent drug tests. This would be separate to the mandatory drug tests conducted by most boxing commissions. However, drug tests aren't always accurate and it is still possible to avoid detection even when being tested.
A number of people have now alluded to the possibility that Pacquiao could be taking illegal substances, among them such prolific names as Andre Berto, Paulie Malignaggi, Floyd Mayweather Jnr, and of course Mayweather Snr, the man who publicly made the original allegation. There's no source to confirm this contractual stipulation yet as far as I know, I just believe it's a probable clause given the circumstances. They'll probably want to test independently, outside the constraints of the commission.
Good point...Fine by me...I say go ahead..Put the clause in the contract...I wanna say Sr's face when all the tests comes back negative...
It's happening as predicted. The current dispute from the Pacquiao camp might just be that old pre-fight hype technique. Time will tell I guess.

lol....You are right. I'm a Cotto fan and still support him. The next fight/ fights will show if his career is over or he can come back. But saying that I respect Pacquiao soooooooooooo much, always have, just thought that he could not beat Cotto or another true welterweight.....I'M WRONG !!!! If cotto would've beaten Pacquiao I would not be slamming Pacquiao because pacquiao fought cotto. That alone says alot.
I respect Pacquiao soooo much after beating my boy Cotto but let me play devil's advocate. NEVADA?????? With so much money riding on Floyd vs Pac, do you HONESTLY think if steroids was found that it would be released? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The NEVADA test is not enough?

Breaking News!
Undisclosed Source says that all the steroid accusations surrounding the following wins of Filipino hero and national icon Manny Pacquiao are all false.
In a local telephone conversation with Biva Sports/Manila Stand Today, and Inslide Sports, Undisclosed Source stated “the real reason why Manny's chin was able to withstand the barrages of punches from Miguel Cotto is that a specialized conforming metal plate was surgically implanted under Pacquiao's chin years ago.”
Pacquiao decided to grow then his now world famous beard so as to hide the scars from the procedure. The procedure consisted of 50 surgeries, 3 failures, and 2 repeats. The experimental implant was performed after his second knockout loss from the hands of Medgeon Singsurat. A group of highly acclaimed scientists approached Pacquiao in his cardboard box after the loss and presented the idea. The idea was said to be a brainchild of Chuck Norris after another fist was discovered under his chin.
Mr. Source stated that “after the ultimate and final test under the hands of Cotto, the group of scientists have decided to introduce the specialized implant to the public in 2010”. The implant will be called, “Floydiots”. Metal knuckle implants were also said to be introduced after the Morales loss resulting to two devastating knockouts in the next two rematches. All steroid accusations should now be laid to rest.
Ronnie Nothingelse
andre berto never said pacquiao was on steroids.
berto was rooting for pacquiao.
he said "pacquiao was on something" and "pacquiao was like a machine"
it was a figure of speech not an accusation. he was praising pacquiao and even took pictures with pacquiao and hung out with him.
It sounded like sarcasm when he said it, inspired by the Mayweather Sr steroid allegation, he didn't seem like he was accusing Pacquiao directly. But it was still alluding to subject.
This is a big insult to the Commission..
The Commission is an insult to a properly run Sport’s governing body when compared to Tennis when having to deal with a testing program.
you present nothing but speculation, without providing actual evidence that will lead any one to believe that manny is in fact, cheating.
it seems to me that you are spending quite a lot of time on this thing, but still fails to show any concrete evidence on this.
i would suggest for the mean time, you give the man the credit he deserves. or is that too hard for you to do?
WTF: separate what I answer from Pac for a second.
I'm answering the post question...not about Pac even if it is a Pac related thread.
Example: Somebody asks: Do steroids exist and can they help you as an athlete to make you bigger, stronger, faster?
My answer: Yes...they exist and they can make you bigger, stronger, and faster.
Now, you will then think it is about Pac when it is not. It is just about answering the question.
Do you understand?
PAC should agree to it under 1 caveat: if no drugs are found in his system, Floyd has to pay an extra $5mil for being a dumbshit
AAaaaaAAAaaaNNNDD Floyd Sr gets tested for crack and Floyd Jr takes a pregnancy test
LOL!!!:boxing:
I'm not sure what's worse, those who swear they know for sure that a fighter isn't on some PED and use wonderful arguments like "he trains hard in the gym" (as if PEDs will work for couch potatoes) or those who swear for sure that a fighter is on something with not only no proof, but nothing else connecting a fighter to PED use (a la McCline or Holyfield).
Okay, I'm not a scientist or a doctor or anything, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't steriods increase a person strength but messes up a boxer's stamina. To my knowledge, the most famous case of a boxer taking steriods is Fernando Vargas on his fight with De La Hoya. Vargas looked real cut and had body that rivaled body builders during the weigh in and right before the fight. His biceps were unusually large and muscular. Pacquiao's biceps doesn't seems to be that way, comparitively thinner really. Anyways Vargas started off strong and overpowering De La Hoya. Then he ran out of gas, De La Hoya outpunched him, referee stopage at the end, if I'm not mistaking. And a day or so later tested positve.
When Pacquiao fought Barrera, Marquez, Morales, David Diaz, DLH, Hatton and Cotto; Pacquiao was still throwing the with the same power and speed, in the end of those fights as he was in the earlier rounds. May be even faster and harder. One more thing, last time I checked steriods didn't enhance a person's jaw and the ability to take punches.

How you train, what drug your on and so on.
EPO and CERA for example would help with stamina.
Shane Mosley was found to have taken EPO.
I've always wondered if this is what Shane did: Increase muscle mass/strength with steroids, then use EPO to help fuel the stamina in those muscles.
Cyclist also take different forms of steroids and EPO/CERA and other high performance drugs. Cyclist that have used have come out and spoke.
