I'm pretty sure Jacobs is a middleweight and Kirkland fights at 147
Kirkland fights at 154.
And I got Kirkland beating anybody they put in front of him.
hahaha they looked like 2 drunk high school kids swinging for the fences
Which makes it entertaining.....not very technical sure, but I don't see how anyone can't enjoy that shit.
He has come along way but GSP still kicks his ass.Jon Fitch will always do the same.Hell even Penn will kick his ass in that division.Sorry but Melendez has only beaten overrated japanese fighters.
Nick has the best boxing that he actually uses in an actual MMA fight. But as far as boxing skills in general Marcus Davis and KJ noons probably has more, but that's just straight up boxing.
All in all.Vargas will still beat Diaz in a boxing match. It might make it more interesting if Diaz was allowed to wear head gear but not Vargas.
Why does Nick Diaz get so much hate as a fighter? He just knocked out Paul Daley in exciting fashion. I also think Nick Diaz is not in the UFC because Dana doesn't want to deal with him as a person, not because he can't cut it as a fighter. Diaz beats any welterweight in the UFC, yes, even GSP!
But I do think he'll lose to Vargas in a boxing match. When was the last time Vargas fought though?
Diaz is a good boxer in MMA but far from the best boxer anyone who thinks he is the best are just his fans. Vargas is shot. I expect Vargas to handle Nick early but i don't think he will be able to keep it up it will be close unless he finishes Diaz early.
Exactly how I see it.
Please, Arthur Abraham fans come join me in support of this courageous, oustanding fighter and true gentleman.
We all know Dirrell was faking---he can be the next Denzel Washington:nono:--just look at the replay---he paused, looked for the referee Laurence Cole then started to fall down...and what's worse, he had the nerve to act like Jermain Taylor when AA knocked his ass out...
It's great that AA, after all the low blows by Dirrell, was able to concentrate and remove all the distractions like the crowd and just went for the kill---it's unfortunate due to Dirrell's thespian act that the last crushing blow was because Dirrell suddenly slipped causing AA to react and reach down--which resulted in the illegal blow.....SHAME ON YOU DIRRELL...and I'm from Michigan. You should show more heart like Arthur and man up.
So AA fans let's not be disappointed because we ALL know who the true winner is and let us continue to support KING ARTHUR ABRAHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha a true gentleman? He's a crying bitch who whines more than my sister. I understand that he might have slipped with that punch. it was in the heat of the battle and i understand that. But bashing Dirrel in the post fight interview was low, and I have lost all respect for that dude. He's a bitch and very overrated.
Pacquiao is. It's straights, towards the head. What is unpredictable about that? If you have the speed to keep up with him, then he won't be as big a problem as he is against slower guys. (ex: david diaz) Doesn't mean he isn't great or he doesn't belong p4p #1.
I will hold off on Benavidez. People jumped the gun with Victor Ortiz as well, and then Maidana showed up. So, I will hold off on Benavidez, from what I see, I don't see anything extraordinary.
Everyone jumped the gun with Hasgawa, until Montiel showed up....
I just rewatched the Cotto vs Foreman (wasn't paying attention last time since I had visitors) and my hats off to Yuri for taking it like a man.
Once he lost his ability to move, it's a lose-lose situation since he is not a puncher and would not be able to KO Cotto at that point. He continued and took a few more beating and in the process, made a fan out of me. I can't say the same about recent controversial outcomes (i.e. Abraham vs Dirrell, Williams vs Cintron).
BTW, I wish there were more fights in NY, Yankee stadium in particular... That referee was very good and very fair, made the fight that much more exciting.
Good post. I agree, I gained a lot of respect for Yuri saturday night. Dude has some cojones that's for sure.
I have to disagree with how can anyone hate Clottey?
Clottey acted like a little girl Saturday...when he fell and complained about his knee..when Cotto barellllyy jab the back of his head and he fell on the floor holding his head from so much "pain"...dude acted like a clown in my opinion.
Yeah Clottey will fight anyone, I'm not taking that away from him, he has balls. But if you're saying he might have done those things to get a point back. To exaggerate just a little bit more than usual just to get on top in the scorecards? That's a bitch move, that just proves my point then....
I lost respect for Clottey Saturday night. I never knew he was such a cry baby. And what was up with Emmanuel Steward? Dude was jocking Clottey to the fullist..I think he even said at around round 8, that the only round Cotto won was round 1?...anywaayyysssss.
I thought Cotto won a 114-113 fight...I definitely enjoyed it.
I think Gamboa takes it.
I don't think Juanma will be able to fight his fight. Gamboa's too quick. I actually saw Gamboa today. He's been going to the LA Fitness by my crib these past weeks. Dude was hitting the heavy bag, and he has by far the fastest hands I have ever seen...and powerful too.
Gamboa, 7th round TKO.
Yo let's be real yorlandis....there's no way you think it was a close fight? You gotttttta be ****ing with this dude, right?
I mean c'mon homie, JuanMa steamrolled through Penalosa.
I watched the fight twice. And if it was so close as you say and he only clearly won one round, then why did Freddie Roach throw in the towel? Just for the hell of it?
