Fernando Vargas vs. Nick Diaz Boxing match what happens?

well he's come along way from his UFC day's and is the current strikeforce champ plus a lot of people think Gilbert melendez is a Better LW then the UFC champ A lot of Strikeforce champs look better than they really are because Strikeforce doesn't have a very deep talent pool as the UFC. Most of them couldn't hack it in the UFC. Diaz would get destroyed by GSP, and look at there heavyweight pool. Werdum, Overeem, Babalu couldn't hack it in the UFC. Melendez also doesn't fight the level of competition on a coinsistant basis as the UFC lightweights

Feroz wouldnt get a crack at a title if he wins, Nick beats someone who is pretty much out of the game. If enough interest, it could be a good sideshow even with no title or meaning. I guess we need more Butterbeans to get the viewership up. I believe Vargas was making a comeback soon, but I don't see anything scheduled on boxrec. Diaz mentioned how he's not happy with the money he's getting in MMA and how he's interested in testing himself in boxing. So I wouldn't say it's a complete publicity stunt. But it still comes off as a sideshow fight since Vargas is way past it and Diaz has no pro or amateur experience.

Diaz has some of the best boxing in all of MMA. That being said, Vargas should still win. He's not only been boxing for most of his life, but he was very successful and competed against some of the best fighters in his prime. Diaz is a good boxer in MMA but far from the best boxer anyone who thinks he is the best are just his fans. Vargas is shot. I expect Vargas to handle Nick early but i don't think he will be able to keep it up it will be close unless he finishes Diaz early. Exactly how I see it.

He has come along way but GSP still kicks his ass.Jon Fitch will always do the same.Hell even Penn will kick his ass in that division.Sorry but Melendez has only beaten overrated japanese fighters. Nick has the best boxing that he actually uses in an actual MMA fight.But as far as boxing skills in general Marcus Davis and KJ noons probably has more, but that's just straight up boxing. All in all.Vargas will still beat Diaz in a boxing match.It might make it more interesting if Diaz was allowed to wear head gear but not Vargas. Why does Nick Diaz get so much hate as a fighter? He just knocked out Paul Daley in exciting fashion. I also think Nick Diaz is not in the UFC because Dana doesn't want to deal with him as a person, not because he can't cut it as a fighter. I would rather see Diaz spar Mayorga with headgear on to see what level of boxing he can bring. I think the best mix martial artist to employ boxing in mma is Frankie Edgar.

Diaz is a smart fighter but technically he is not as good as Vargas. Vargas has been boxing for so long everything in the game is second nature for him. He would whoop Daiz's ass.

Nick is a Beast in MMA so how does he do in Boxing against Vargas? I have never seen him fight.

Nick is a Beast in MMA That's why he couldnt cut it in the UFC.Don't get me wrong he's good, but he's far from a beast.Oh and Vargas would beat diaz down in a boxing match.
