It would be a one hitter quitter for Manny, those MMA guys swing all wild and have 0 stamina, if it goes past the first round they are gasping for air. Easy fight for Manny, the same punch that k.od Hatton will put Lesnar to sleep.
lol you have to be kidding, otherwise you're dumb dude. Your post reeks of sarcasm, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Manny would get raped by Lesnar. Hell, Wlad and Vitali would also get smothered. Lesnar's speciality is wrestling, and he would easily take these guys (with no td defense) down and own them.
Of course, in a boxing match, he would get murdered.
Antonio Margarito may have sparked "Meldrick Taylor" syndrome in Miguel Cotto.
Margarito put the beatdown on him, plain and simple. It was a Chavez vs Taylor type beatdown. The effects of the beatdown were evident in his struggle with Josh Clottey. Clottey is not a hard puncher, yet he had Miguel running and trying to survive the final rounds. Cotto fought valiently, but he took a lot of shots and was at times, clearly shaken up by Clottey.
Cotto is no longer the same fighter, not since the Margarito beatdown. I think Freddie Roach sees this, and it's going to show in the Manny Pacquiao fight. Another smart move by Roach, they seen weaknesses in DLH and Hatton and I'm sure they see the effects of the beating Tony gave Cotto.
He needed plaster in his gloves to put that beatdown though.
Gosh the hate around here for this black man is pathetic! First of all im here just waking up in vegas and i was at the weigh in and there was alot of floyd fans there! it was bout 50/50. just because the marquez fans were singing ole ole ole and culero doesn't mean he had more fans there. I don't know how it sounded on the internet streams but there is no way in hell marquez fans overwhelmed floyd fans. But weigh ins are pointless to determine who has more fans. Last year cotto fans killed us mexican fans at the weigh in but come fight night it was like 19-1 in favor for magarito inside the arena. But as of yesterday floyd had ALOT of fans and they were loud when they let themselves be heard.
Second this was a signed ww fight. I got to speak with Kevin Iole from yahoo and also some guys i know with top rank and this fight was always a ww fight according to them. They both agreed the limit would be 147lbs and they both agreed that if anyone came over 144 they would pay a fee for each pound, but marquez nor floyd cared about 144. marquez wasn't going to blowhimself up to get to 144 and floyd wasn't going kill himself making 144. Floyd is all muscle there is no water weight that he can just shed like other fighters. he will be under 150 tonight the weight wont even be an issue since floyd NEVER balloons up after fights to begin with due to him not having much water weight anyways. Some of the stuff i read just sounds pathetic and full of hate! Anyways I'm out to the Rio to splurge at the world buffet. I'll see if i can maybe get some pictures in here during the event tonight through my phone.
You're a real ****ing idiot, you know that? Muscles are composed by 70% of water.
If you say that he couldn't cut anymore water, it means that Floyd was completely dehydrated. Then you go on to say that he'll come in at under 150 lbs tonight. So what, he'll only rehydrate about 3 lbs of water in his body?
A prime Jones would have ****ed him up. Everyone knows that when u lose 30 lbs of muscles you shock and destroy your body.
If you lose 10 lbs of muscles in a year, you will feel the repercussions. Imagine losing 30 lbs of muscles in 6 months.
Johnson isn't even in Jones' league.
Blame it on Fishnets. Dude purposely put this fight on the same night as the UFC event. Lots of combat sports fan are fans of both, especially casual fans.
You gotta understand how cutting weight to make a specific decision works. He ain’t gonna fight welterweight walking around 154
Floyd barely walked around 150 and he beat DLH, Maidana and Cotto at 154, Canelo at 152 without cutting weight at all. Pacquiao fought drained versions of DLH and Cotto at 147.
Point is, Floyd fought all of these bigger guys at a severe weight disadvantage because he was far more skilled than them. If you can't beat bigger guys, it just means you don't have enough skills to go pass the weight disadvantage.

Loma got dropped at his first fight at 135 by Linares, so he'd have gotten stopped by Pacquiao back then. Even now, Pacquiao would beat him at 140, and stop him at 147.
In this case, Loma's skills are overrated.
I seriously hope that Alcine wins his upcoming title fight so that he can become an international star. One thing that I hate about boxing is all the politics that goes on behind the scene. A guy like Alcine would have had a title shot a LONG time ago if he was American. At least in MMA, they don't care where guys are from, it's really about skills. I mean look at Georges St-Pierre.
I actually watched this curiosity and felt Paulie won the first two rounds but probably lost the next 3, definitely the final two because he simply did nothing.
However, this just goes to show how boxing feints and footwork is far superior to other combat athletes trying to "box".
Paulie was supposed to kill Artem. This was boxing with no gloves. Paulie has a lifetime of experience in boxing and Artem is 13-15 MMA fighter, meaning he's a terrible MMA fighter.
Bareknuckles rules are supposed to allow hold and punch clinch work but the refs broke the clinch in a regular boxing way, so the rules favored Paulie (he said that the clinch was the only thing that worried him).
Paulie shat the bed, even if he did break his hand, 1 hand should be enough to beat Artem.
Most MMA guys have horrible boxing, but there is more to striking then just boxing.
If Anderson was allowed to use kicks, elbows, clinch and knees, Roy would probably after to retire after the beating he takes. Silva would put him in the Thai Clinch, and destroy him like a little kid. People who have trained Mauy thai for decades still have trouble breaking a good clinch. No ref would step in to stop it either.
Boxing isn't the definitive striking art form. It's the best and most powerful way to turn your hands into a brutal weapon. In boxing, Roy beats Silva's ass all day long. But don't get it confused. Only in boxing does he have a chance.
