DAZN better never bow down to the UFC again

I was watching the UFC, pretty happy it was delayed

No they weren't doing Dana White a favor at all. I'm sure they feel the same way about Dana White as he does about them, they did the fans a big favor that watch both sports. exactly try getting the pbc funboys to understand.

I could care less about the DAZN/UFC drama. I do like the idea of spacing out events, HOWEVER, that long wait was unacceptable. Btw - you label this as "bowing down to UFC", because I assume you're on the "DAZN is the devil" bandwagon? In reality, typically the premier event takes place last, so in effect, DAZN was trying to show they're "bigger", or whatever. In any case, that wait was horsesht for the fans and for the fighters. Unacceptable. I'm not on any "DAZN is the devil" bandwagon. I paid for a yearly subscription. But waiting almost 2 hours between fights is completely unprofessional and not a good way to treat your customers.

DAZN is completely incompetent. Golden Boy is completely incompetent. So together, they're a dangerous combination. Boxing PPVs have always been 9PM. UFC PPVs have always been 10PM. If DAZN didn't want the Canelo fight head to head with the BMF fight, no problem. Just time your event properly, start the main event at 11:30 and it'll be over before UFC's main event starts. Instead, these incredible morons decide, hey, our event starts EARLIER, so let's put our main event on AFTER theirs?!? Complete lunacy. When DAZN inevitably crumbles and all of the ****roaches scramble, remember last night. Remember those 90 minutes of nothing. One minute for every major mistake DAZN has made since launching.

That was a joke. How you going to make the main event fighters and everyone who paid to be there or for the app wait around for nearly 2 hours for another sports ppv. I wouldn’t think there would be that many people who just paid $65 for the ufc that would then pay another $20 to watch one boxing match that started at midnight anyway.

Blame it on Fishnets. Dude purposely put this fight on the same night as the UFC event. Lots of combat sports fan are fans of both, especially casual fans.

Agreed. I honestly fell asleep half way through the fight, woke up to the ko and figured I’ll replay it after and went back to sleep. I saw the Diaz-Masvidal fight thank god I found a link. The fight wasn’t all that, I would’ve much rather been watching Canelo vs Kovalev. Didn’t even capitalize on the Ryan Garcia lo and energy. Boxing took a Huge L last night in the nonsensical comparison to mma. Bowing down to UFC, unforgivable. You're right, they didn't capitalize on Ryan Garcia's KO. Nor his big social media following. The card had no flow.

The wait until the main event was beyond ridiculous. How do you expect subscribers to be captivated by your product if you have them sitting around for ages between fights? At least have some fill-in fighters on standby just in case. So that your customers don't fall asleep or die of boredom. That was so bush league last night. An embarrassment to the sport. Agreed. I don’t think they should have but GLAD DAZN or if it was other way around waited for one to finish I watched both. Immediately after UFC flipped to DAZN. Watched Garcia in between. Looked painful to see all that talking going on at DAZN waiting for UFC

Couldn't believe it when I got home at 1:30 and the fight was just starting. I can't recall that ever happening before, not even with Mayweather-Pac.

I appriciated that I got to see both UFC and Boxing main events but they ****ed up the scheduling, they should have planned to have the main event right before or after the UFC main event. The most idiotic thing was that after that was finally over we still had to wait nearly half an hour for the ringwalk and national anthems. What a cluster****.

It was a horrible decision for sure and the fight wasn't as good as the UFC Card not even close The Night Boxing Handed UFC the Keys and admitted that they're more popular :nonono:

The entire broadcast was terrible. Terrible production values, terrible commentary, Chris Mannix has to be the worst television personality in sports history, the ridiculous commercials between rounds rather than letting us listen to the corners, and the wait for the main event that stretched on forever with no fights to show. It was a terrible production on DAZN's end. yeah I hate the fuking commercials inbetween rounds. I want to see what the trainers are saying. Especially since this is a paid service. If you have to put a banner or some chit at the top between rounds but for fuks sake show the corners. Im paying $100 a year for this chit.

The funny thing is I fell asleep before the fight. Woke up around round 4 and just said "screw it" and went back to sleep. Avoided this site this morning and watched the fight when I got up
