ive never really been a fan of mosley so id always pick tito
to beat him, but if they were both judged on thier fights with
winky wright, mosley has done alot better.
so who do you think would win (poll) and how (thread)
personally i think mosley would be backpeddling all night, his footwork
aint too good nowadays so i doubt hed avoid titos power all night.
i think rds 7-10 is where tito would catch mosley, putting him down
more than once, then shane surviving the last few rds to lose to a md
Tito's style is tailor-made for a guy like Winky. I see Mosley getting hit with bombs but with that iron chin of his I don't see him going down. What a great fight that would be, both in their primes, hell even now! Would remind me A LOT of Hearns-Leonard 2 in that both are past their prime but still will give a helluva effort.
120-112 Raheem UD, Morales almost got KTFo in 5th round!
115-113 Morales got rocked in round 1, 7 and 12 bad!
yup!
Has it ever occured to you that Morales brawled to give the fans something. He can easily (well maybe not easily) outbox Morales but he can still outbox him & he obviously didn't fear Pacman's power because he continued to trade.
For real though...
Didn't Morales get a gift against Espadas?
most great fighters have had a bad night and gotten a gift at some point or another. Even the great Muhammed Ali.
nah. Morales brawled becuz he knows Pacquiao is tired in round 12. Pac's still dangerous, BUT HOW BAD CAN IT BE IN ROUND 12? Pac is tired, power diminshing, but still managed to whoop Morales' ass. I tell you what, Morales brawls in ta early rounds in ta rematch, he gonna get KOed plain n simple!
Yeah, if El Terrible doesn't take any chances and plays it conservative, UD for Morales. But he's a warrior at heart and Pac might lure him into a fight! Definitely going to be a GREAT fight!!
Both fighters fought an over-cautious fight. I think Hopkins landed the better, harder punches but Taylor was more aggressive and controlled the pace. I hope Taylor doesn't EVER fight Winky. What a borefest...
Bozo the clown, you're saying you respect Hopkins as a man even when he is TOTALLY classless, won't give ANY credit when credit is due, whines at every possible decision?
Briggs Is Shit Id Love To Build A Time Machine So Briggs Could Could Get
The Beating Of A Life Time Off Marciano Or Ali
He could easily KO you ;) So I guess you are "Shit".
Whatever dickhead it's just my opinion that Foreman and Cooney are the hardest punchers ever. Ali says Foreman is the hardest puncher that he ever faced and Foreman & Holmes said Cooney was the hardest. So I guess I'm going to go with what the actual legends say...but you would OBVIOUSLY know...
I was cheering for him but just couldn't see him winning this fight.
so you accuse Taylor of fighting like John Ruiz? You say Hop landed the harder and more shots and you say it was a draw or win for Hopkins but you don't see him winning the fight? OK
I disagree, he threw and landed more, and caused the younger more active fighter to fight passive and infrequently.
both were pretty cautious and timid.
My first post on this forum...Anyways, I just think Hopkins isn't fighting a blown up lightweight or welterweight, he's fighting a true middleweight. I'm taking nothing away from Hopkins, but this may be his last chance, lose this one and he has to retire. I know it will be a great fight I just hope that it isn't like Holmes - Spinks 2 where the more disliked fighter gets robbed!
It's funny how EvilSaint is making such a big deal of this. We will never know because we wouldn't stand up to those kind of shots but Shavers, Foreman & Cooney were the hardest hitters in history and you can't just judge from literature. Impossible.
What about KOing Norton and Lyle in 1 round? You're obviously a jackass, what about the fact that Cooney didn't go past 8 rounds by the time he fought Holmes. This guy was a monster...
Greatest, Hopkins is still a better fighter now then he was when he was in his physical prime. A lot of fighters really get into their prime late into their careers.
Oh c'mon Manny, Pacman is the one top pro who I wouldn't want to be teaching kids how to fight. Doesn't have footwork, technique or defense. All he knows what to do is go 100 miles per hour and do his best to knock out his opponent - which works well, but is DEFINITELY one dimensional.
He also fought a bunch of fireman and policeman. He beat Hopkins 12 years ago, thats 12 years ago, and he would never verse him again even when there was big money for it. longest reign Jones had was 5 years, Hopkins doubled that with 10. Roy Jones best victories are Toney and Hopkins, which he got over 11 years ago. Hopkins beat Trinidad when he was undefeated and favored to beat Hopkins, and he also took out another hall of famer in DLH.
Both BLOWN UP.
Taylor was constantly shooting that jab and Trinidad is a punching bag to any boxer...and you said that Hopkins wasn't in his physical prime he wasn't in his physical prime against Tito either. Argument lost there.
