ive never really been a fan of mosley so id always pick tito
to beat him, but if they were both judged on thier fights with
winky wright, mosley has done alot better.
so who do you think would win (poll) and how (thread)
personally i think mosley would be backpeddling all night, his footwork
aint too good nowadays so i doubt hed avoid titos power all night.
i think rds 7-10 is where tito would catch mosley, putting him down
more than once, then shane surviving the last few rds to lose to a md
I think Mosley wins by UD.......He would frustrate Tito with his much better boxing skills and has a very good chin so could take some good shots from Tito.
Well, Mosley has problems with tall, rangy fighters (such as Vernon and Winky) so I think Tito could easily keep him on the end of his jab and left-hook his ass every time the midget tried to come inside. Mosley never had the power at 147 to keep Tito off of him so I think Tito would win a lopsided decision at 147, 154 and KO his ass at 160.

Tito's style is tailor-made for a guy like Winky. I see Mosley getting hit with bombs but with that iron chin of his I don't see him going down. What a great fight that would be, both in their primes, hell even now! Would remind me A LOT of Hearns-Leonard 2 in that both are past their prime but still will give a helluva effort.
tito is a legend, but he lost to de la hoya, winky and b-hop. i do think OSCAR's carrer is slightly better, and TITO is one of the best fighters from this era. a lil overated, but 1 thing 4 sure he was exciting as hell, some fuken awesome power. CHICO reminds me of him...
Tito is good yet, another boxer that never fights to his true potential. The only named boxer he fought was oscar.I would like to see trindad come back from retirement and fight quailty opponents how he is capable of doing.
Tito was a good fighter. He totally dismantled people who were placed infront of him. The only type of fighters he had trouble with were the ones with a great jab. And 2/3 he lost to were bigger than him.
yep, no way was tito a legit middleweight, while b-hop was a big middleweight.
winky had fought at lightweight for most of his career (i think)
and theres no shame in losing to dlh who is a great fighter.

I'll give my 2 cents...
I think Felix was a special fighter but he was overated. But however good he may be, he is unworthy of the attention bestowed upon him. They talk of how he thoroughly dismantled that legendary Pernell Whitaker and bowled over Oscar De La Hoya and half killed David Reid. That's garbage.
By the time Whitaker fought Trinidad, he was 35 years old, hadn't fought in over a year and had spent time in rehab for cocaine addiction. He lost 8 rounds to 4 against DLH. He beat an inexperienced pro in David Reid who only had 14 proffesional bouts under his resume when he fought Trinidad.
By never once looking impressive, having only minimal success and only when his opponent failed to take the initiative, and failing to work the body, cut off the ring, score with powerful right hands and score with the jab, Trinidad exposed himself against DLH, Hopkins, and Winky Wright.
i dont think dlh took the 1st 8rds for starters....

I don't know I just see Tito's resume and it looks good but it doesn't show the real thing. Vargas was a good fighter but he was so green and Tito was already an established pro. Green had only fought 14 times when he fought Tito. Delahoya outboxed him. Whitaker was WAY past his prime. The only ppl he beat on was little men.
thats the way it is with alot of these so called superstars.
who did mosley beat to be p4p no1 ?
I'm sorry but I think Tito is/has always been overrated. Beet a way out of prime Whitaker. Beat a VERY GREEN Robin Reid and didn't look good doing it. Lost to Delahoya (yeah, DLH got robbed bad). Lost to Winky and B-Hop...
david reid
of course tito struggled against top boxers, but hes been brutal
against alot of opponents. so he may of gone out like a bitch
but i still love Felix "Tito" Trinidad.
If Oscar beats Mayo in May, dont be surprised to see DLH-Tito II on Sept 2006....
yeah...its not like tito to not stay fit, so i expect to see dlh koed
brutally for the 1st time, not some bosom buddy body shot
I'll tell you this much it would of been alot more entertaining then the winky fight thats for sure! but I gues we'll never know.
ya never know..mosley has a name after beating golden boy twice.
i wouldnt be surprised if tito returned to fight mosley &/or dlh
