You're right, he ain't ****.
Remember, he's the only guy capable of beating Mayweather. He said it himself.
I still think that first round Khan produced would've blown anyone back, Lamont had no clue where he was. A shame he couldn't maintain it.
He just needs to work on;
- Endurance
- Inside fighting/defence
- Handling pressure fighters
Otherwise you can't take away his talent/potential. He had a bad night, yet despite it, he still could've won if it wasn't for the points deduction. Even with the points deduction, one of the ref's had him still winning and the others had him lose by a single point.
That tells you something.
Only thing that could hold him back now is morale, how bad has it been effected by this fight.

Richard Schaefer has informed that the show here in DC is a clean sellout. Congrats. #Boxing is dead? Whatever. #KhanPeterson
Good to hear, not bad for a place where there's been no big matches in 18 years.
Khan shud be happy because if that was Bradley in there he whud of killed Khan yesterday
No. Khan would've given a different fight to Bradley. You had;
- Khan underestimating Lamont
- Lamont giving the best fighting performance of this life.
Despite the -2points, Khan only lost by a point, and one of the judges still had him as 114-111.
Nope.
He refused to give Maidana a rematch, immediate, or otherwise.
What goes around comes around.
Maidana didn't get robbed though + Khan wanted to unify the title. Khan did say that Maidana would be an option (can't remember if he said it for a last fight in 140 or 147)
I don't think he would.
You underestimate Khan, that fight's blinded people. Khan made mistakes, nothing serious, it can easily be improved imo.
I'd love to see Bradley-Khan, but I'm sure Khan would beat him.
Just shut up already a mere con, you talk to much. Can't wait to see him sparked out like prescott did to him
Keep waitin' from the cradle till the grave :bottle:
Yeah, I been his fan since olympics.
or how about i can choose who i do not like for whatever reason i choose?
i personally am not an amir khan fan, the kid got skills though gotta admit it. im never gonna be the one going to his fights live, or trying to get autographed gloves, but if he beats peterson i will start believing in his hype. i thought zab coulda been the one to end him, he beat zab down made him quit, lets see if he can prove me wrong again
Lol, he's going to destroy lamont... Not really much of a "if" this time.
Underestimating Khan, I think he's the only one who could match/surpass May's speed.
I think in a year's time, it'll be a very good fight. Don't let your hate(which stems in people due to Khans verbals), blind you from giving credit where its due.
Approx 4.00am. Come On KHAN!
Thanks.
I thought it was at approx 2am?
I probably won't bother staying up then, my stream lags way too much anyway :nonono:
Defo feel for you, considering I got..

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha hahahahahahahahhahaahahhaa
Looking forward to the excuses. It was the man in the hat!!!!! Garcia is on peds!!!!!!! We had a bad training camp!!!!!!
Actually those were legit. (except for the training camp, I don't remember him ever saying that), he also never accused anyone of being on peds until it was actually proven (peterson).
This one's different though, it'll be amazing if Khan can somehow rise up from this, but it's not looking good.
Unless he learns some damn defense his career will continue to go downhill.
That's the only thing tbh, it's a factor that could make or break him.
If he doesn't really sort that out (and we're talking extreme measures here) then he's going nowhere.
Otherwise, he certainly has great talent/skill, he was dominating garcia throughout until he got caught.
I just feel trainers have been mesmerized in developing and relying on Khan's speed, and just haven't bothered enough with his defence, thinking Khan's speed, his style of going "in and out" is going to cut it.
As for Garcia, he ain't lasting. He comes across Maidana or Ortiz, then it's lights out. Garcia's swings were just so wide and careless at times. And when he did hit Khan, he wasn't even looking, it was a good counter, but I think he just threw that punch hoping for the best.
