A genuine test for Khan. He needs to win convincingly to have any sort of shot a suckling on Floyd's golden teat. Personally in terms of achievement and ability I think that Khan and Collazo are on a pretty even level, Collazo just never gets the ridiculous hype that Khan does. Part of me wants Khan to fail, he just keeps spouting the same BS and it get tiring. Collazo, on the other hand remains humble and focused - he is my pick. Khan was obviously levels above Collazo... Since this is the master thread, put me down for a late Collazo (T)KO. I just think Khan will have too much rust, and isn't serious anymore, even if he doesn't know it. If it goes to the final bell Khan should have a narrow win on points, unless he looks like utter garbage on a bike all night. Collazo, on the other hand, has been in the ring recently, and is probably thinking that a win here might get him in the mix on the Floyd lotto. OK, eat crow time. Khan looked a lot better than I though he would, and he showed little in the way of rust. I still wouldn't say he looked great, or was terribly fun to watch...

Khan fought patient in the first half and then proceeded to fight like he usually does. He looked like a solid WW in there, the weight seems to have helped his punch resistance. However, his defense still consists of clinching/shoving and a ton of movement. I want Khan/Maidana 2.

Khan looked good, got his shots off and was out of there before a counter could be set up. He should fight like that all the time. Didn't like his excessive holding and leaning on collazo's head/back with his forearms and elbows. Otherwise, it was a good performance, the best he's looked in a while.

People laughed when I said Virgil wasn't a bad idea, because Khan boxed well and picked his shots vs Diaz minus the knockdown. I think the lay off did well to work on things as shown tonight. "a blessing in disguise" (Khan's voice).

Fair play to Khan it was a disciplined performance against a dangerous guy. A bit too much holding, but he's an excellent boxer when he sticks to it.
