I don't feel bad for Khan. It's called karma.
Being an arrogant, self serving, lowballing, twitter ranting tool will always come back to bite you.
And to think this guy thinks he is ready for Mayweather.
And Khan is the kind of guy who is great at making excuses..... here they come now, this could take a couple hours.
"Cleaner fighter" lmao. Hold, push, hold, push, hold, push, hold, push. Threw a couple forearms in there too.
Waaaaazzzaaaaaaaaaa. In your face son.
Peterson should not give him a rematch. He should act like a f@ggot the way Khan does when asked about giving Maidana a rematch.
with all respect...I am not even sure if he is all that good...HE JUST HAVE FAST HAND!
but besides the hands Speed...it is really nothing all that impressive about him
and I have always said Bradley would beat Khan, not sure why fans want to come and post that now after that fight, I did not need that fight to know that Khan was/is OVERRATED I always posted that Bradley would MURDER KHAN INSIDE!
I'll give Amir credit for his chin though, actually. I know Lamont won't ever be confused with Kostya Tszyu, but Khan took some of his bombs reasonably well. He doesn't have an above-average chin, but I think it's generally better than he gets credit for.
The reason behind this significant "improvement" in chin is due to Ariza and his "special" blend shake. Suddenly, a guy who gets knocked out by a less powerful fighter, is now taking many, many big flush shots from a bigger and more powerful fighter? And then not only taking these shots considerably well, but asking for more? Taunting the bigger guy to hit him on his chin more?
Khan proved how overrated he is. Doesnt have good ringmanship and has no defense. Peterson was landing at will. Khan himself lost this fight, not the ref.
Also was not classy in defeat, kept referring to himself as the "cleaner fighter" :/.
You are a tool and your racist, bigoted views will never mean anything to anyone so please delete this thread and leave.
You may know return with the usual shit reply.
Where did that come from?
Peterson did better than expected but he was still clearly beaten, take into account it was in his backyard too, that counts for something in terms of motivation, it's like Merchant said, Khan fought like the fight depended on it, Peterson fought like his life depended on it. Bradley didn't beat Peterson in DC and that was a tough fight.
You're right about Khan though, I think he's gotten even more frenetic since sparring with Pacquiao. He leaves himself way too open for a guy who doesn't take punches well and is very vulnerable on the inside.

I thought Khan took the fight in the Championship rounds, but it's a little much to say he 'clearly' won. Peterson really took it to Khan for most of the middles rounds- stalked him showing no respect for his power, made Khan look amateurish at times with his head movement, dug to the body very effectively and found homes for both the jab and the looping right. To my estimation, with all of his frenetic shoe-shine (which blows my mind since he has all the speed, dimensions and skill to really sit down and pick a guy apart), Khan did a ton of missing.

Huh.
waz said Peterson was the best fighter Khan had ever faced and he was nervous about the fight; give him props for being one of the real Khan fans in here - there are some genuinely delusional cheerleaders you could pick on if that's your thing.
I agree that the 'littul timmi is 2 littul 2 beet ameer' BS the Brit homers were spouting for the last year and a half needs to stop now, though.
So Bombs and Check Hooks aren't delusional fans for being afraid of JMM and thinking he'd be a tough fight despite what all the other delusional fans thought?
Think Khan proved tonight that technically he needs work on, big time. He's far too reckless on the way in, he gets hit far too often and his punching technique isn't brilliant. He has speed, that's about it.
Khan showed that he was overrated as fuck. That is for damn sure. Yeah, Bradley ducked him and all that and why in the world he did I can never understand. But if this guy gets in the ring with people that have power and are even better inside fighters than Peterson like say Rios and Alvarado he would get chewed up and spit back out. Was so sick of all the talk of him and Mayweather fighting each other because that is a gross mismatch if there ever was one.
I agree that Khan should've gotten the nod in a close fight, but let's be real. There was always more than met the eye with the Bradley situation, and the only reason we we're even in a position for Lamont to get the W was, as Kellerman stated, he fought his a$$ off and took it to Khan.
Lamont will always be game, but for the hopes and hype around a guy like Khan, Lamont is the type of opponent you're supposed to find a way to beat. I don't know what it is with Amir, but it's like he has so much in his arsenal that he doesn't utilize. He's extremely frenetic. With every fight, I expect him to have worked this kinks out and he just doesn't.

i've always said that khan is just as dirty as bradley with the headbutts and maidana with the rabbit punching but he gets away with it and overlooked by many. tonight was sweet justice.
ffs Khan won the fight tonight in his opponent's back yard, and Bradley blatantly ducked him...
now we have to read b/s like this

Ref shouldn't get involved. Khan was pushing Peterson off to make space so he could box. Plus Peterson was leading with his head and ducking. He did a good job of unsettling Khan.
Ref should have warned Peterson about ducking.
what's the excuse for the headlocks then?
Don't start with the triangle theory.
Different styles here.
Weird deductions on both parts. It was a good scrap.
Peterson wasn't getting worked and fighting against Bradley like against Kahn.
But yeah, man, no triangles for arguments. Those theories are only coincidental.
Those pushes weren't deserving of point deductions. Khan won 114-113 on my card even with the deductions.
Rematch in neutral territory with a fair ref like Kenny Bayless, Khan would win.
Yes they were deserving of point deductions. It is supposed to be boxing skill that keeps a guy off you not pushing. In fact the ref warned Khan so much the ref might not have done enough.
Khan was pushing, holding, wrestling. All the things that are not allowed. If you are fighting dirty you should be penalized.
