Holly ****, you even more scare that Lomachenko is of Rigo.
You wrote like the bible of excuses
If you think Loma is scared of anyone, then you don't know shit about boxing.
He's up for taking on real threats - which does not include ancient, ugly, alien-looking midgets.
Seriously, is there an uglier boxer on the planet than Rigo?
There is no reason for Loma to take this fight. It would be a step backwards.
A fight with Rigo is guaranteed to be a stinker. Part of Loma's marketability is that he is exciting to watch. No fighter with that kind of marketing angle wants to be in a stinker.
Beating Rigo would mean absolutely nothing to anyone apart from a fringe of Rigo's most rusted on fans. He is old and he is too small. Loma would get no credit.
Even worse if he had to lose weight to make the fight.
So for Loma:
* zero credit (except amongst a deluded fringe)
* missed chance to take on a real fight
* low paying fight
* screwing with going up and down weight
* guaranteed stinker; causing:
- reduced future marketability
- reduced future opportunities
- reduced future paypackets
The world is Loma's oyster. He is on track to be this generation's greatest, and there are fights which will lift him up there - like Mikey Garcia to begin with. A Rigo fight would be just plain stupid.
GGG would be stupid to cancel a June fight with Saunders just to satisfy Canelo's whims and petty nonsense.
Canelo will just find another way to avoid the fight, and GGG will have missed out on an actual fight. He would be left dicked around by Canelo/ODLH just like us boxing fans are.
I like Loma. I invented a new sexual orientation just for Loma.
At the same time, I don't disregard the excellence of Mayweather. When Loma has 20 fights I think we can make a better comparison.
Right now we are all in shock at just how good Loma is. I'm happy to wait for that shock to wear off before I make comparisons with Loma and the greats of the past.
I would say that I would much rather watch Loma fight than Mayweather. To be fair though, Mayweather only got really boring in the last part of his career.
It's like this.
Loma was impressive, but everyone expected him to be. So it made less impact.
Gvozdyk was impressive, which I think made people pay attention.
Usyk failed to impress.
So overall, Gvozdyk had the best outing.
It seems most of yall only watched floyd when he got old with posts like this
Truth was he got boring when he got older. But that isn't really any reason to disrespect him. He adjusted as he needed to, to allow for age and his hands. He kept on winning.
That's better than refusing to adapt - or not even having the ability to adapt - and beginning to lose as soon as the reflexes start to slow down.
His later career might not have been pretty, but it was a testament to his completeness as a fighter.
Just popped in to say you DIDN'T EVEN COME CLOSE to inventing Lomasexual. That was a phrase used while he was still in the Olympics.
Convergent evolution.
Besides, the phrase may have existed but a phrase isn't a sexuality. Pressing the flesh is. As any Ukrainian midget who has experienced surprise buttsex can attest.
You hate Floyd Mayweather don't you?
Well, I'm in other threads at the moment saying it is silly to say that Loma is better than Floyd, and why Floyd demands so much respect.
But yeah, must be a racist hater like you are.
Lol. Yeah boxing fans have no sense of politics in the game and ggg's mgmt are irrefutable..
Cmon dude.
So, you a big Bold and the Beautiful fan, yeah?
If it is another 'loss' like last time, then no. He won't accept it, just like the boxing world didn't accept it. It's good that fans of the sport have little tolerance or taste for fighters getting short changed.
The only people who can take pleasure in an undeserved win are fanboys. They aren't fans of boxing, they are fans of people who happen to be boxers.
If Kovalev gets beaten cleanly, then it is hard to tell. He seems like a pretty straight shooter, and he doesn't come across like he is full of shit. But he is also a bit mental. I think there is a real chance that Ward will have adapted quicker than Kovalev will be able to, and will be able to make an actual clear win next time (that's my prediction for the fight) with a fair 116-112 kind of outcome. I'd also expect Kovalev to congratulate Ward, and his fans to do the same. Who knows though? I guess we will find out.
Loma. I could end it right there. It's enough. But, in acknowledgement that other fighters also exist...
Kovalev, Beterbiev, Usyk. I have enjoyed watching Izu, although I think that the entertainment factor may be finishing up with him.
I haven't seen enough Mikey Garcia and definitely want to watch more. I like watching Anthony Joshua, but that could be just because he is so darned handsome. (no homo).
GGG and Canelo are both pretty good to watch.
The haters might not be boxing fans but those of us who expect him to actually fight quality opposition before proclaiming him ATG, HOFer, P4P #1, and could beat Hagler, Monzon, etc ARE! Integrity of the sport.
I have no problems with that. If you do a fair and objective assessment of GGG then there is both good and bad, there are also definite disappointments about his career so far.
I'm talking about the fanatical haters who go out of their way, time and time again, to post about how much they hate him or how little they think of him.
Yeah, those people aren't boxing fans. They are more like soap opera fans.
but some have gone out of their way to knock mikey or act like loma(or any of the EE guys) are doing something more impressive because of their short pro resume...when in reality their age dicatates they should be fighting the level of comp they are fighting
I think Mikey Garcia is great. A fight between him and Loma would be really exciting.
I'd be backing Loma, of course, but I can see Garcia winning too.
I don't see too many people dismissing Mikey. If they do, then they shouldn't. He's awesome.
I think you might be downplaying the significance of how many pro fights a boxer has though. Age isn't the only factor, and I don't think it is even the biggest factor.
I mean, if you take two fighters of the same age, and one has zero pro fights behind them while the other has thirty? There is a definite advantage to having that pro experience.
Zoo is one of my favourite fighters ever. He was the man in a strong division. He was legit. He wasn't just about the power either, he was also seriously skilled technically.
But he isn't a true great, because he had a stylistic weakness. It meant that he lost to lesser fighters. He could rule a division in most eras, but never for too long - he'd come across someone with stylistic kryptonite and be made to quit on his stool again.
Canelo can not fight anyone right now who would make more money for him than GGG. Bottom line.
Mayweather fully understands what ducking is, he also knows how to lie about it lol
But... will a fight against GGG make him more money if it is held further into the future?
Also - would a loss to GGG hurt his future earnings?
Yeah, the reasons Canelo isn't fighting GGG is down to money. We call that ducking, Floyd calls that smart business - and exactly what he would do.
Loma has had 8 pro fights. He is still learning, still developing. He has only had 2 at this weight.
When he has had ten more fights, people are going to answer this type of question very differently.
I don't know how Floyd can sit there and say that Canelo is not ducking Golovkin.
This is what I believe:
He doesn't look at ducking the same way that boxing fans do. He doesn't look at it as a courage thing, or as a challenge thing, or a legacy thing - he looks at it purely fiscally.
If Canelo is managing his career in a way that maximises his money, then Floyd can't see that as ducking anyone.
As a boxing fan, I refuse to excuse or condone boxers who avoid significant challenges. I won't give them any credit for being 'smart' or anything like that.
It's cancer.
