Lest we forget.
Cuz it might be hard for some to remember since he has never actually DONE this.
But, he keeps saying it.
A lot.
So help me out here.
I want the GreyBumpkin fanboys to realize just how many different times they made reference to this fantasy which they never, not once, ever lived up to.
Post a link or youtube to anything you can find concerning Triple L, Dirty Sanchez, or 99 LoefflerBalloons spewing the same nonsense they have for 5 years now.
I'll start us out.

When I say "all talk, no action" I am referring to the title of this thread.
I could understand if it was just about getting the big money fights, I could respect that I suppose.
But this is a guy completely unwilling to even try to live up to the words he is saying.
Anyone from 154 to 168.
Five years, he's been saying it.
And yet he has fought EVERY SINGLE FIGHT IN THE LAST HALF DECADE AT 160.
You're telling me about no one wanting to fight him, who should he fight, who is the best risk/reward.
I got news for you.
When you try to promote yourself like Lil g has, risk/reward by definition SHOULD NOT enter into every single match made.
Some of those matches should be challenges.
Can't get Froch, Jr., or Ward at 168?
How about Ramirez, Groves, either Dirrell brother, DeGale, BHop.
All have expressed interest in Lil g.
Want to get Floyd in the ring at 154?
Go down to the weight and fight a highly ranked 154 lber. Make folks talk about the fight seriously by proving YOU ARE SERIOUS.
And while we are at it, fanboys need to stop with the "of course you go down to 154 for the money with Floyd"...because the same folks fiercely defend Lil g's right to demand 160 against the SECOND BIGGEST MONEY FIGHT Golovkin could ever have...and having to lose less weight to do it!
Now some folks could stretch THAT out to a duck.
Some folks could say he should put his money where his mouth is.
I wont call it a duck, but it IS indefensible.
You can't keep saying it's all good to lose 6 pounds for Floyd while moaning about him having to lose 4 pounds against the guy Floyd easily beat.
THAT'S why the fight didn't happen. Lil g played himself thinking he had leverage he didn't have.
He disrespected a guy but simultaneously was asking the same guy for his career biggest payday.
Honestly, how in the hell did they think that was going to turn out?
So what did we get while he was hyping himself without even trying hard to live up to it?
Willie Monroe is what we got.
Osumanu Adama is what we got.
Marco Antonio Rubio is what we got.
Dominic Wade is what we got.
And a blown up welter in Kell Brook is what we got.
Those are at least five fights that we got wherein other weight class opponents would have fit very nicely into the "154-168"narrative.
Erislandy Lara is better than all five of those fighters and most certainly would have been easy to make a fight with for less money than Lemieux or Jacobs.
And BTW, that's real weak to mention Jr "pulling out" when that was all about Arum and had nothing to do with Lil g.
That's real weak to talk about Eubank jr when him not signing ALSO wasn't about Lil g.
If you are such a fan and so ready with things to defend your hero, you should at least be diligent enough to find out what really happened those times.
As for my avatar, that is going to stay there until Lil g's career stops being smoke and mirrors and starts being real challenges.
Jacobs was a good step.
Let's hope he takes more of them.
Much like your posts, all talk with no substance. You're saying the problem is Golovkin acting like the A side and that's the problem preventing this fight? Really?
Who dropped the WBC belt and refused to fight their mandatory AFTER verbally agreeing to fight after an interim bout?
Just answer that question.
Did Golovkin do that? Or was it Canelo? We all know the answer so how the fuck can you sit here and blame Golovkin? You are just straight up being deceitful.
Do you need a refresher? Canelo agreed to fight Golovkin if he could get an extension. Golovkin/K2 granted it. They both took interim fights. Canelo post fight, invited Golovkin in the ring, said Golovkin is next, weight is not an issue. Days later he dropped the belt WITHOUT even attempting to negotiate the fight. And you have the nerve to blame Golovkin, GTFO
The problem he's encountered is he was and still is high risk low reward. He's only recently been pulling in good money and even that isn't good enough for the "stars" like Canelo.
Tell us then, what are the fights Golovkin should have taken that he didn't? Because all he's done is consistently gone after the top middleweights and title holders. Take a look yourself. Jacobs, Lemieux, Martin Murray, Geale, Rubio (which got him the WBC interim belt), Matthew Macklin, Proksa were all top ten guys when he fought them.
The guys he didn't fight?
He was mandatory to Felix Sturm for two years in Germany. Sturm wouldn't fight him and the wba wouldnt enforce it, actually it turned out that Sturm paid the WBA $750,000 not to fight him. That's Golovkins fault though right? Blame Golovkin for Sturms blatant ducking?
Sergio Martinez, he wouldn't fight him. Golovkin certainly wasn't acting like the A side, just wanted a shot. You can argue Martinez was at the tail end of his career and not blame him for wanting to take easy fights at the end, like cherry picking a blown up welterweight in Cotto that backfired on him. Can't blame Golovkin for that.
Cotto had obligations to fight GGG as the WBC champ, we all know Cotto wasn't a real MW so no one blames Cotto too hard for not fighting him, but you certainly can't blame Golovkin.
Golovkin signed the contract to fight Chavez jr at 168, HBO PPV. Chavez never signed and pulled out due to his own problems with his promoter Bob Arum. Golovkin didn't do anything but sign his end of the contract. Likewise, Golovkin signed to fight Dmitry Pirog for his HBO debut, another guy that no one was in a hurry to fight, Pirog injured his back just weeks before the fight and had to pull out, Proksa stepped in as a late replacement. Can't blame Golovkin.
Billy Joe Saunders turned him down twice, N'dam pulled out of two different purse bids, back when he was undefeated, simply didn't want to fight him, Eubank pulled all that drama and ducked out, enter Kell Brook and so on and so forth.
So who are the guys Golovkin didn't fight? There is only ONE possible name that anyone can legit mention and that guy isn't even in his division, that being Ward at 168. Which, was a very small window of opportunity - Roc Nation contacted K2 shortly after they signed Lemieux on PPV with the expectations of fighting for the WBC middleweight title against Canelo sometime after. You guys love to blame Golovkin for this but at the time, being the mandatory to the WBC with expectations of fighting Canelo for that belt in a massive fight was far more lucrative. Immediately after Ward announced he's going to 175. Other than not leaving his division to fight a guy who had been extremely non-active as a fighter and sign a contract for a fight for a year away, while thinking they had Canelo on tap, that's literally it.
All this other nonsense about Golovkin acting like the "A-side" and not getting the big fights as a result is bullshit.
Look at your avatar and all the anti-ggg threads you make you clown. Obviously you dislike the guy to the point where you feel it necessary to put up an anti GGG avatar and make dozens of threads about him.
Change how? What does he have to do to fight Canelo? Become his mandatory perhaps? That's usually the best way to force a fight being that most fighters don't want to give up their titles and be labeled a coward. Canelo is not most fighters though, takes a special bread to give up something they worked so hard for.
You act like there are offers on the table that Golovkin is turning down, that's the hilarious/sad thing about all this. It's like you only read the Oscar headlines and run with it.
Look, there is one so who has been wanting the fight for a long time and another side that keeps making excuses. No idea why you would take the side of the camp making the excuses if you are some unbiased boxing fan. Clearly you're not though.
Lol. Yeah boxing fans have no sense of politics in the game and ggg's mgmt are irrefutable..
Cmon dude.
So, you a big Bold and the Beautiful fan, yeah?
The haters might not be boxing fans but those of us who expect him to actually fight quality opposition before proclaiming him ATG, HOFer, P4P #1, and could beat Hagler, Monzon, etc ARE! Integrity of the sport.
I have no problems with that. If you do a fair and objective assessment of GGG then there is both good and bad, there are also definite disappointments about his career so far.
I'm talking about the fanatical haters who go out of their way, time and time again, to post about how much they hate him or how little they think of him.
Yeah, those people aren't boxing fans. They are more like soap opera fans.
GGG haters aren't boxing fans.
The haters might not be boxing fans but those of us who expect him to actually fight quality opposition before proclaiming him ATG, HOFer, P4P #1, and could beat Hagler, Monzon, etc ARE! Integrity of the sport.
so you're making excuses for Ward like a woman?
here is the fact.
HBO offered the fight to Ward, Ward said No. he ducked. it's factual history.
learn to read idiot. At that time Ward wasn't fighting anyone. After that, team g string knew Ward would be very lucky to make 168 and 164 was out of the question. That way they could act like they wanted the fight but wouldn't actually have to fight Ward. This after accepting 168 for both Froch and Chavez Jr. Clear duck by team g string.
And? He'd fight Mayweather for more money than the worth of Kazakhstan? Shocking! Who wouldn't?
Why is that relevant? Is there a 154 pound fighter trying to fight Golovkin at 154? Or could it be that you're trying to deflect Canelo criticism and also pretend Canelo is a 154 pounder and that he's willing and able to fight Golovkin at 154 pounds? You know that weak ass argument was officially killed the moment Canelo signed to fight Chavez, 10 pounds north of 154, a catch-weight of 164.5 pounds, and thats not even considering all the other factors (Canelo's rehydration, etc.). So why pretend man? Are you really that desperate to defend Canelo? Everyone knows there is literally no issue for Canelo to make 160 pounds so you're really not fooling anyone here. There is no offer on the table to fight at 154 pounds and the latest threat by Golden Boy has absolutely nothingto do with weight, it's Oscar saying if Golovkin fights Saunders in June, a month after Canelo's upcoming fight, they won't fight Golovkin, using the lame and weak argument it's not enough time to promote a fight for mid September. And if you're trying to suggest Golovkin is ducking 168 pounders, no one is there. We got DeGale, Jack, old add Abraham. Not exactly a stacked division. Either way another lame thread by OP.
There is no need to deflect criticism from Canelo when it is becoming clearer every day what the problem has been in making this fight.
When B-sides try to act like A-sides even in the face of incontrovertible proof that they are B-sides, you get what we have gotten for half a decade from Lil g.
All talk, but no action when it comes to legit challenges.
He is going to be 35 in a few months...and only weeks ago had a fight that could in any way legitimately called a test.
That's pretty week.
For the last time, I don't hate Lil g.
I detest his ways tho.
And if he doesn't change them he is going to miss his chance at true greatness.
I hate him because I want him to be great like he has been hyping himself as?
OK.
Easy work exposing you folks, really.
You want him to be great, look at what you have as an avatar stupid, you couldn't lie straight in bed moron
ok, so you hate ggg and you are dedicated to making everybody on here hate him as much as you do. What a stupid way to waste your time. The people like you who hate ggg already hate him. They don't need encouragement from you. The people who like ggg aren't going to turn against him because of your ggg hating bs.what are you trying to accomplish with all your hate threads toward ggg. He is still champion. He still makes millions of dollars every time he fights. He still has never lost a fight. He is still in the top 5 best pfp lists of the majority of fans and boxing writers. He will still fight whoever he damn well pleases and there is nothing you can do about it.for all the effort you put into hating on one boxer, that boxer doesn't even know you exist. Ggg has a great life. You should get one.
hahahah good one!!! Ggg kills canelita la miedosa!!!
And at that time Ward was in deep litigation with his management. However when a Ward/g string fight was a real possibility, team g string insisted upon a catch weight of 164 for a Ward fight. This was after accepting 168 for both Froch and Chavez Jr. Clear duck by team g string.
so you're making excuses for Ward like a woman?
here is the fact.
HBO offered the fight to Ward, Ward said No. he ducked. it's factual history.
HBO offered the fight to both and Ward said no. How many times do we have to repeat this to these clowns? Unbelievable.

Tooli stil at it the moron
Great take.
Well reasoned with an obvious wealth of boxing knowledge.
NOT.
You need to go back to that ghost town with the rest of the idiots...
