No I don't think so. No way I favor Floyd to beat either of them if he were to come out of retirement and fight them. And there's nothing wrong with that. He had his time and proved to be one of the greatest ever.
What a stupid question you just asked. Seriously, I don't even know what the hell to make of this. I feel like a dumbazz responding to this thread, but here I am.
For the record, I don't think he should be in. But he does have accomplishments, and let's face it, the standards for getting into the HOF aren't too high. I mean, he's probably accomplished more than some others who got in.
Did Paulie get tested full time too? Manny could have been dirty... Im a fan but im not stupid. Any fighter could have been juicing at the top. ANY... unles they were doing year round test like Donaire.
But Paulie is seriously losing his mind over Pac. He accuses people left and right. unless they his friends. Love his boxing analysis but when it comes to accusing fighter for being dirty, he should stfu if he doesnt have any proof.
This is spot on. He’ll say how boxing is dirty, and a lot, if not most, top boxers are cheating, but he only seems to call out a few. If he goes off on someone after failing, fine, but he has been on Pac for years. He has a personal issue.
I don’t think we’re arguing who’s greater, or comparing careers. Some get confused. I’m looking at who achieved higher heights and whose talent was simply more impressive. To me, that’s Roy.
Well yeah that's fair but to say no one beats him at 135 is just incorrect because he was beaten at 135.
I get what you’re saying. Fair point. I didn’t mean for it to be taken literally. Nobody is unbeatable. But we have fighters who we can consider the best in a division. In a literal sense, yes he can lose. But for the purposes of these hypothetical dream matches, I take him Duran over everybody.
DeJesus beat him at 135.
He did. And then Duran beat him. Losses happen. You know what I’m saying. Consider how many fights he had and for how long. I’ll take Duran at his best at LW over any other 35 pounder in history. Plain and simple.
This is taken out of context. People need to chill. He was clearly using hyperbole to make a point. His in the ring persona, The Bronze Bomber, wants to "catch a body." He then said, once he "turns back into" Deontay, he checks on his opponent. Chill out. He doesn't want to kill anyone. He's not a murderous sociopath. Just in the ring, it's all business.
I don’t think Pac should try to go that low, but I understand he wants a huge pay day in the twilight of his career. At 135, I think this ends badly for him.
So you're basically saying Mikey has the potential to stop Loma if he lands a clean right hand on the button. Ok, I think we can all agree with that. Let's move on.
