Golovkin should have gotten a shot vs Martinez before Cotto but that fight really shouldn't have happened because Sergio was fighting on one foot. If he had to face a prime Golovkin instead, then maybe he would have retired rather than show up for one more bout/paycheck. And every time a guy fails to come in within half a lb overweight.

Good post. I agree with you on Ali-Holmes. Really depressing fight. I also agree with you on Manny Horn. That should’ve been Crawford Manny in a “ torch passing” fight. Both Holmes, the referee and Ali's corner have to be blamed for that fight that should have been stopped alot earlier. Yup! Crawford would have been a far better choice - skilled fighter, not rough, reserved in speech and character so he won't go bragging like he beat a prime Pac. I wish it was Spence and his body shots vs Horn instead of Crawford, just didn't give a satisfactory beating to Horn. And thanks for the green man.

Cotto - Martinez was pretty stupid. Martinez was old and clearly injured, and the fight was spun like a great victory for Cotto. That was hand picking. They were banking on Martinez being injured.
