how does he put the weight on so fast? his walk around weight must be about 170, and yet he fights at 140?
i agree with an above poster, he should go to welter if he comes back!
that was rather strange...he just seemed to dance around for about 5 mins...?
and that running did not look that sharp either, he did look like an old man.
roy jones will destroy what ever is left of lacy's soul, joe calzaghe really f**ked lacy up!
does anyone else hate seeing two fighters who have both lost to the same guy...just seems like a calzaghe reject fight.
Calzaghe, Hamed, Benn, Eubank, Hatton, Buchanan, Winstone, Haye etc..
I'd carry on but I can't be arsed....
all of these and many more...ignore the yankee's hating!!!
that was quite a nice right hand hatton threw before the jab, kinda staggered floyd a little bit, but i agree with most here, it was not really a clean jab. i think mayweather was just off balance.
i would hope he is training hard right now, he cant be that stupid not to be. i heard he was doing some running a few weeks ago? but i still have not heard anything solid about his camp...im starting to like cotto for this fight!
i think everyone will agree, hatton is ALOT stonger than pacman!!
so pac's workrate will have to be unreal to keep away from hattons punches!!!
but hatton can match anyone's workrate i think!
most people already know this. Calzaghe is a good boxer, not great like he thinks but good. Mayweather and Pacquiao are leagues above him though. He didn't dominate the 43 year old Hopkins, some say he lost.
jermain taylor beat the shit out of b-hop twice, but no one is sayin he is a ATG,im sorry but your logic makes no sense!
plus he DESTROYED jones jr,who if i recall beat b-hop years ago.
i think the amercians hate calzaghe cos he destroyed your two biggest and best names!
nah, boxers to ghetto for that shit!!! lol
really though,im not sure...i only seen a bit of the red carpet thing, ryan seacrest has a VERY awkward interview with miley cyrus. does anyone else think she talks like a man??
i picked pacman.
does anyone else notice how far people have crawled up his ass in the past 6-12 months??
it's quite shocking!
i think hatton comes second and cotto third!
if this fight falls through, pacman will have mad the biggest mistake of his life!!! no way will he make as much with any other fighter as with hatton! douchbag
and i dont doubt that hatton has got another fight lined up,with a 80,000 crowd...he could do that against a nobody. so imagine if it is a big name like jmm or nate campbell!
pacman is pissing me off!
Team Pacquiao has approached John Ingle about the possibility of a Junior Witter match in May, according to the former WBC champion's manager.
Ingle said that Team Pacquiao is currently shopping for a May opponent for Pacquiao as Hatton doesn't seem to be too keen in facing the P4P best fighter in the planet. Mayweather Jr. is also reportedly being considered as a possible alternative but the former P4P #1 doesn't want to fight earlier than December.
Witter is coming off a KO win over Argentina's Victor Castro last November after suffering his only professional defeat early last year, a split decision loss at the hands of Tim Bradley in a fight where Witter suffered the first knock down of his career.
Ingle said that the 34-year-old former world champion was both happy and surprised that he was being considered by Pacquiao as a replacement for countryman Ricky Hatton, a guy who has been ducking him for years.
However, Ingle said that Team Pacquiao's priority remains a showdown with Ricky Hatton, who is the current Ring Magazine light welterweight champion.

it's pac-man that does not wana fight hatton, not the other way about!!
"money manny" will be seen as ducking hatton if this fight falls through!!
Lots of fighters are dying to have a shot a Pacquiao, heck even Margarito and Cotto never hid their interest in facing the guy. Then there's you...you used to be a force in your division, but you got humiliatingly knocked out in front of your fans, followed that with a less than impressive performance against a no-namer, then followed that up with a fight that hardly made PPV noise against an overrated powder-puff punching boxer.
Oscar dela Hoya wanted to face you because you seem like an easy opponent for an aging fighter but granddad got badly whooped by Pacquiao, so Pacman inherited your May date with dela Hoya by default. Now you are stuck with a fight that you know would probably end your career, but it's not all that bad, think of what it would do to your legacy if you win! A year ago, team Pacquiao has been considering you as an opponent in his planned jump to the higher weight class, team Pacman thinks you got short stubby arms and speed that's just as fast as Pacman in slowmo, oh yeah, Pacman looks at you as a patsy opponent and everybody outside England knows that, but when dela Hoya came along, it was such a big money fight that no fighter in his right mind would let the dela Hoya opportunity pass - not even Pacquaio.
Finally you get your date, and dela Hoya by losing badly practically gave you a Pacquiao fight on a silver platter. What I don't get is that when Pacquiao practically agrees to fight you at your own weightclass and even offers you 60/40 PPV sharing for the trouble, why in the world woudn't you grab the friggin' opportunity? You know you might not get this chance at Pacquiao again. It is not that it is Pacquiao who's dying to get a shot at your IBO belt and P4P#9 ranking, wake up dude! Say yes and the fight's on...unless you're afraid of something.

lol your a tool!!! why is it a good for hatton to get 40 percent? he is bringing in all the money from the ppv!!
get off pacman's dick and open your eyes!!
mallignaggi is the much better boxer! i would give him a ud.
even with his low punching power paulie still has a chance to knock khan out.
and paulie's chin is f**king rock solid, so not much chance of a ko.
if he landed the punch that staggered Hatton then possibly.. but his hands have gotten progressively more fragile and he's also looked less agile as of late. He could not knock him out.
when the eff did he stagger hatton? i hope you're not talking about that right hand that made hatton take a few steps back??
cause that was far from a stagger, hatton turned around nodded to paulie in a "you only got me cause i got sloppy" kinda way.
a shot that staggered hatton...LMAO
