Well, I think this would be a great match for Khan.
I'm not just saying Malignaggi because of his low punch power, but he's still a name, is known in the U.K because of Hatton and I think Khan would box his ears off.

I'd pick Khan to beat most boxers who can't hurt him. From what I've seen Malignaggi's only real power punch is his right which he rarely throws these days in fear of breaking his hand.
Khan can win this one. Malignaggi seems to have gotten worse as a fighter and his patterns are pretty predictable, but let's see Khan fight a world level contender first.
paulie is not a very good boxer let's be honest
He is not a bad boxer man! If he had more power he'd be pretty dangerous.

He's one-punch fighter though. Very basic at the moment. Hopefully he gains confidence because like Drew has mentioned he has stopped using the right. Otherwise, Khan would dominate the cards.
Yeah, very possible. I was assuming Paul would enter the fight with his right hand in good condition. With a 100% fit Malignaggi I think this fight might be quite close. Both can box, both are swift on their feet, but Malignaggi is used to soaking up some real punishing shots from hard hitters like Cotto and Hatton. Who knows though, it probably will never happen.

Possibly, yeah. Paulie is a decent boxer and has an iron chin. I don't think Khan has enough pop to seriously hurt him, so I guess he does have a chance.

Really? you give PAULIE a chance?
:sad2:

LOL.
Malignaggi's 3-0 down going into the 4th. McGirt throws in the towel.
Paulie is affraid of throwing his right hand. He can't just win with his jab. Khan's weakness is his chin, which is something Malinaggi would have great difficulty exploiting.
interestig match up. I'd probably go khan because he has more than just a fast jab like malignaggi.
for all those questioning khan for not taking barrera out last the other night i dont think khan has ever been a particulary hard puncher, he just uses he speed to overwhelm opponants. the accumilation of khans punches would of been likely to cause a tko in the later rounds.
Malignaggi by 1st round KO..LOL jk i think Paulie would edge him with a solid SD IF he boxes and not hold all day like he did in the Hatton fight
How can you predict an SD, that means he might have lost?
I never get that.
This is a great match up and khan takes it, khan is better in every department, apart from paulie has a better chin. I think it would be competitive as paulie is a really good, fast distance boxer, but khan is just too fast. I don't think people realize how fast he is.
I could definitely see this fight happening, think it is very realistic especially if paulie wins another belt, which is not beyond him
I would guess that khan will only be able to make lw for another year or so, it would be a big pay day for paulie as khan is a big name in the UK, and I think paulie would defo think he could win
Not a big fan of Khan, he couldnt get rid of a blind old man last night and I want to see a Prescott rematch.
Khans not a 1 punch knockout artist.
Plus the fight was only 5 rounds, who knows if it were to go on longer.
Considering Buddy McGirt is Malignaggi's trainer, he has to KO him before the 10th round or McGirt stops it baby.
LOL.
