Brook came to America and beat Porter. Brook has never lost a fight and never been knocked down. He is not some unknown. That's just an excuse Khan and now Porter use to avoid fighting him. Everybody knows who Brook is. He a world champion and he is ranked higher by boxrec and ring magazine and by most other ranking organizations than Khan, Porter, Thurman or Garcia.
spot on Mate, Agree 100%
Get the fuck outa here lads. hahaha he peek a booed my ass. He stood there and waved your man in, and the proceeded to catch him clean the whole fight. In 12 rounds I remember about one or two occasions when Naz (who was supposed to be the supreme boxer) caught Barrera!
Lets not re write what happened to your hero guys. He was supposed to beat a supposedly washed up, one dimensional Marco Antonio Barrera in the weight class were he was king. What happened...........he got a fucking boxing lesson from a man who was considered a one dimensional slugger!
PRINZE NASEEM- fought fucking stiffs until he got in with Kevin Kelley. Great fight, he got flattened a few times before he Ko'd Kelley. Then he goes on to the Great Augie Sanchez and once again gets put down while looking suspect the whole fight. He comes through again. Then he steps up to world class....BARELY LANDS A TELLING PUNCH ON BARRERA!!!!
PRINZE NAZ= ONE OF THE BIGGEST FUCKING MYTHS TO EVER APPEAR IN BOXING! RIP NAZ, YOU GOT FOUND OUT AGAINST BARRERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
couldn't of said it better, as soon as he was in a 50/50 fight he got fucked I knew when he stepped up in class he would get it, Berrera was the first fighter with real class he fought. he turned down a return with Berrera the chicked fuck

Khan has no punch no chin and is all hype, frank Warren wouldn't dare put him in with a puncher
Well, i just saw a fight of him on the 04 olympics and i think he has a lot of talent, i think he is a great propsect. i checked his record and it seems he is doing great, but havent had the chance to see his pro fights, so i wanted opinions about him, is he a great prospect??? what do poeple here thinks :P
:boxing:
Khan is another Audley Harrison all hype, he's a good amateur still fights like one has no punch as a pro he's going no where and sadly he believes in his own hype
I just got some new fights into
my collection. I got the one with
Roberto Duran against Tommy Herns.
My uncle keeps saying Duran was so great.
I saw the tape when Duran quit against Sugar
Ray too. Now seeing Tommy Herns knock him out
with one punch. Why do people keep saying Duran
is so great especially old people.
If want to know how good he was watch this
I agree 100% The US Government is behind this all this, they already have complete control of western governments, they only have to say jump to the EU and EU says how high, It’s all about world domination, they want a united states of Europe, controlled by then, Syria is the same, if they ever get in to Syria then they’ll go after Iran with the help of Israel, Israel and the US are in this together, wake up people
His political party UDAR is a German backed puppet party and his American and EU masters aren't going to let Klitschko be part of the government if they do succeed. They think so poorly of him that they feel its preferable to have Tyahnybok (leader of Svoboda Nationalist party and "legitimate" spearhad for the 'Right Sector' Neo Nazi groups) to be Yatsenyuk's right hand man instead. They're just using him because of his celebrity.
There was a phone call leaked between US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt with them discussing Ukraine like they're moving pawns on a chessboard. The way they talk about Klitschko like he's an idiotic child being sent to his room to go "do his political homework and stuff" is particularly amusing.
Here is an article that will provide context for those unfamiliar with Ukraine's political scene that they're talking about during the conversation.

Khan will take him out within 2 rounds, body shot
You mean like the way he was going to take Diaz out?
Khan’s fast hands and puncher’s didn’t bother career lightweight Julio Diaz
Or the guy before that fight, 16 fights Molina; Khan struggled in the Diaz fight. So how does he deserve top fights?
I swore he Larry asked him if Khan if the ref warned him in the interview after the fight and Khan said yes...
Your right, Larry did ask Khan if he was warned, and Khan did say yes, Khan was fouling all through the fight, he should of had points dedutcted for pushing Peterson head down all the time, not to meantion getting Peterson in a head lock through out the fight.
If by Canelo route you mean fight the top two fighters at 154 back to back with one being the best pound for pound fighter in the sport? >__>....Then not complaining when he loses, takes it like a man and fights what's SEMI a 154 pound version of Maidana in Angulo (semi...just..semi...).
Kahn does suffer from delusions of grandeur but he's got some stones on him. As far as heart goes dude is a lion. But he might be the only dude dumber than Rios...
Khan 'begged not to fight Maidana'
http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/sport/story/105040.html
Warren still won’t put him in with a puncher, or someone who goes on the attack,
Carefully selected opponents that’s the name of the game, we all know as soon as he gets in with someone who can punch and take a punch its lights out for Khan, the Barrera fight was a force, Barrera was fighting way above his fighting weight, and way past his sell by date, yeah his record looks good until you see who he beat, and who gave him trouble,
This is what he's been saying in the US
WBA super lightweight champion Amir Khan has lashed out at his British detractors. “I can only say that sometimes skin color does make a difference,” stated Khan, who is of Paskistani decent. “I know for a fact if I were a white English fighter maybe I would have been a superstar in Britain, and the world.” He added, “In America they treat me like God!”
The way Cotto has trained for this fight domonstrates how strong his mental state is for this upcoming event, I don't see any problems in the fight for him. The possibilities of him winning this fight are pretty substantial, that's why Roach keeps saying that Pac will be the one winning the fight by knockout which in turn states his insecurity about this fight, his job is exactly that, give Pac the mental edge, the physical edge is on Cotto's side, something that Roach already has in the back of his head!!:boxing:[/QUO
I think Cotto will destroy Pacman, Margarito couldn’t knock him out, and that was with a horse shoe in his grove, Oscar was over the hill, and in my opinion Ricky Hatton was vastly over rated, I think Cotto will stop Manny, I hope Manny wins, but the old saying a good big one will beat a good little one, I hope I'm wronge, Can't wait to see the fight.
Legend my arse, I'm glad I didn't pay to see this fight, same old Khan lots of punches but no power in them, Khan is an arm punch, he doesn't punch his weight, at no time in the fight did he look like he could hurt Kotelnik, Khan was a top amateur, unfortunatly he still fights like one, he's just another Naseem hamed, well not a good as naz, how long do you think he would last in the US? as long as he's with warren he'll keep winning, he may have a world title but he's not world class no way.
As soon as I heard (Khan't take a chance) was going to fight Maidana I thought great, now we'll see what khan is made of, but some how I knew this fight with Maidana wasn't going to happen, I agree when you say he doesn't like fighting guys his own size, His whole career up to press has been smaller men,
Why is it some people on here call you a khan hater just because you criticize him for not fighting a puncher like Maidana, he got fast tracked to a world title he didn’t earn, what a farce
oh yeh i forget, Kotelnik just gave Khan the belt. Khan fought and beat the champ so stfu[/QUO
Call that a world title fight, your having a laugh, I bet you have pictures of Khan, stripped off to his boxing shorts all over your bedroom wall
Khan is 22 for gods sake. He moved up from 135 to 140, and outclassed a very well rounded and respected opponent in Kotelnik. It was a very good victory. Next he knocked out his mandatory opponent Salita in spectacular fashion. Now he is fighting a Mexican legend in Marquez who is one fight removed from knocking out Casamayor and Diaz. 5 pounds north is not a great deal of weight. However, because Marquez was dominated by Mayweather, they call him shot. Ridiculous.
Marquez vs Khan is a very good fight. However there are a few sods who choose to discount the fight because of their hatred of Khan. Why do they hate him so much? Oh, because he was protected early on in his career. Well boo the f*ck hoo. Most fighters are protected until around their 20th fight. Khan is not the first and is certainly not the last fighter to face soft opposition early on in his career. At least he is stepping it up now.
Calzaghe didn't fight Kessler his first real, world class, prime opponent until he was 36 or so. Hatton didn't fight Tszyu until he was 25 or 26. Believe me, Khan is stepping his career up. He may not be putting his head on the chopping block straight away against the likes of Maidana, but he will get there. The only reason people want to see Khan fight Maidana is to potentially see a young man violently get knocked out so they can all gloat and cheer on his downfall. No boxing reasons whatsoever. The attitude of some of the posters on this site makes me sick.
Khan is going in the right direction. No promoter would put a guy with a chin as poor as Khan's in with a huge puncher on his American tv debut. Risks need reward, and Maidana offers no reward at the moment. Lets build the fight up and maybe in a year, Khan and Golden Boy will be ready to put it all on the line. If Khan is as bad as people make him out to be, then he won't even get to that stage. Marquez is still great enough to put his career back a few paces with one solid shot to the chin.
Marquez is only a 5 feet 6 inches blown up featherweight and 36 years old,
Khan is 5 feet 10 inches and 23 years old, through out his career up to press Khan has always fought the smaller man that is until he met prescott and we all saw what happened there, khan must have been really gutted when he saw Kevin Mitchell beat prescott
The fans are tired of the excuses why he won’t fight a puncher, he’s only 23, he needs the settle in first, the money was better fighting another opponent, it goes on and on, he won’t fight a puncher because he fears a fighter who can punch, he’s been put on his arse by fighters who where considered none punchers, why is it when someone criticize Khan they are called Khan haters, the majority of fans who criticize Khan don’t hate him, they are just tired of being cond, by (Mr. Khan’t take a chance)
I think they want to build his resume with marquee names first and hype him up the easy way rather then put him in their with the lions (which i believe he is one to) and then possibly put him in a mega fight
u guys saw what happened to ortiz and arreola(is he a gpb fighter?) when they were thrown in with lions
so they might be preserving young khan for the moment
I think your wrong about building his resume, the amerians know who he is, he said himself they love him in the states, he wanted to be a world champ, well he got his wish, being a world champ means you have to go in with the lions, surely that’s what a world champ does, if he's a lion as you seem to think, why did he bottle it against maidana, no he has a fear of punchers, he'll fight any one who he thinks can't knock him out, now before I get all the crap about being a khan hater, I (don't) hate khan, I just think he's vastly over rated
bump for the Pakistani warrior !!
Mr Gay Mandingo, Khan needs some muscles on his chin

Maidana ducked Bradley. Maidana knows Amir will put a beating on him. He will not accept the best career pay day and will claim that Amir is not paying him right
Maidana says that this time there should be no more excuses from the British fighter.
“So far and for the last whole year Amir Khan and his trainer Freddie Roach have made every possible excuse to avoid me. I thought there was no more tricks on their hat. But they are great at it an pulled a new rabbit by saying that I’m overpricing myself. All I want is a fair payday according to a unification bout as we have to determine who the absolute WBA champ is,” “El Chino” said.
“The English TV Sky wants the fight, HBO wants the fight, the fans and the media want the fight. I want the fight. Does Amir really want it? I doubt it,” he commented.

You can't cherry pick for five years straight. You have to face contenders like he did.
You know nothing..
The one time Hamed did step up to the elite level, he was thrashed. Most important to consider is the way Prince Naseem Hamed handled his one loss in the ring. Once Barrera exposed the emperor had no clothes, instead of going back to the gym to work on flaws and demand a rematch, Hamed largely disappeared from the ring and never fought another meaningful match. Truly great fighters prove themselves by rebounding from adversity to become even better, not by pulling a disappearing act.
There was certainly more money, fame and glory to be had, but Prince Naseem Hamed chose to walk away from the sport without giving himself a second chance to prove he could hang with certain first ballot hall of fame boxers such as Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales or Manny Pacquiao.
What do you mean ask Naseem Hamed?
Hamed was 9 years undefeated. 5 years world champ.
Only lost once in his entire career to a Barerra at the peak of his form.
Yeah right, will hamed be introduced to the boxing hall of fame? I don't think so, Hamed cherry picked his opponents , as soon as Hamed faced a top feathweight in Barrera he was schooled, he was offered a return but refused he had a few more fights after that but was never the same after that fight,
He won an Olympic medal and has widespread exposure in Britain. The guy's a (relative) star in the UK, a household name. Even if he gets KO'd he'd still be popular. It would take a number of KO defeats to really dampen his popularity here and perhaps not even then as he'd still be a name like Audley Harrison is.
khan was popular in the UK when he first turned pro,
but the fans got sick of Khan cherry picking his fights,
he wouldn't face the top guys in his division in the UK or europe.
comparing Khan with Audley Harrison is spot on,
go to any boxing forum and see how popular Khan is,
another KO for Khan and he's done for in the states, ask naseem hamed
Khan does not have the power to trouble Maidana,
Yes, Khan can box but he also has a porcelain chin and no punch , Maidana will get to him sometime during the fight, body or head and its all over,
How do you become a boxing super star without actually fighting any top name fighters?
Lets see what Maidana has to say, you can't believe a word coming from team Khan,
Didn't Khan say Marquez was asking for to much money?
If Khan doesn't fight Maidana, lets see him in with Lamont Peterson, now that would be a good fight
If Ortiz is an option why the **** are the trying to fight McCloskey?
McCloskey is not a puncher, McCloskey is unheard of in the US, the only fans who want this fight are the UK fans,
Ortiz has POWER of that i have NO DOUBT but its his mental state i wander about he comes across as to much of a nice guy sometimes.....if he was to develop a MEAN STREAK I THINK HE COULD BE A FORCE !!!
Agree 100%
Ortiz doesn't have to be gun-shy with A mere Khon,
Khon is not a hurtful puncher, he tends to overwhelm opponent with punch volume rather than power.
I'd argue that's what Khan has done for pretty much most of his career...
