Kenny Porter said that they'd love the rematch with Brook but really he's a nobody who no one knows. He says there are other much bigger and more lucrative fights out there such as Khan, Thurman and Garcia.

It's a bit obvious ain't it, why fight the guy that beat you soundly!
Tbh I don't see any version of Porter beating Brook, his smothering wont work against someone as strong as Kell.
If Khan, Thurman and Garcia are bigger fights then why isn't Porter fighting them. They are all Haymon fighters but they never fight each other. I haven't read anything about Porter fighting any of them in the future. Porter had a good performance in the Broner fight except for the last round. They shouldn't spoil it be trashing Brook who beat Porter in his own country. Thurman has much respect for Brook.
Am I missing something? When did they say they dont want a rematch? The Porters have been very vocal about wanting a rematch...
I think this is a roundabout way of saying it. They know they'd have to go to the UK for a rematch. Garcia, Thurman and Khan are bigger fights on home soil so I don't blame them.
No doubt , when you lose and dont want a rematch its clear whats going on , there are ego`s in this sport and you dont just take it in the ass and say "the money is not right , i dont need a rematch"

I think he meant to say "Those fights are easier".

Outworked him by mauling, missing and smothering everything? I defy anyone to post more than 5 clean punches Porter landed in the fight. Had it 9-3 Brook, I was shocked how bad Porter was.
Do you think it warranted a rematch?
By throwing more punches (even if they weren't landing cleanly) and being more aggressive. Scoring is obviously subjective to a certain extent, I don't think either guy impressed particularly. Kell won in close but clear fashion for me.
A rematch isn't warranted, nor am I particularly interested in one. It would be a similar type of fight with either guy nicking another close decision, maybe Porter depending on how strict the ref is.
It was definitely close and competitive, Kell did the cleaner work, but Porter outworked him in patches. I had it 7-5 Kell.
It was a scrappy fight and I don't think Brook was anywhere near as dominant as it's being made out.

It wasn't close or competitive. You can count the number of clean punches that Porter landed on one hand.
Porter is an awful boxer.

Brook came to America and beat Porter. Brook has never lost a fight and never been knocked down. He is not some unknown. That's just an excuse Khan and now Porter use to avoid fighting him. Everybody knows who Brook is. He a world champion and he is ranked higher by boxrec and ring magazine and by most other ranking organizations than Khan, Porter, Thurman or Garcia.
spot on Mate, Agree 100%
With a less lenient ref, Porter could outwork Kell in a rematch. Lets not rewrite history, Kell won a close, competitive fight. Why would you 'settle' for a decision if you can go on and stop your opponent? Especially in a close fight...
No chance Brook stops him in a rematch, Porter has a solid chin and the Broner KD was flash.

Because they know Brook would stop Porter in the rematch. It was Brook's 2nd fight away from the UK and he was the challenger. I think Brook and his team overestimated the skill of Porter and settled for a decision.
If pillow fisted Broner could drop Porter then what do you think Brook would do.

Porter looked terrible against Brook.
Brook would probably smash him up next time. Brook looked a class above.
That wild-man bull rusher crap actually saved him, if he would have fought at mid-range he would have been even more thoroughly out boxed.
