i love the excuses coming out now who gives a fuck how old Khan is he was the one talking himself up
and it dont matter how old he is he will always have bad chin
every boxer does! go find one boxer who talks himself down
man that wasn't a slap. a good placed shot to the ribs will put anyone down.
he aint over-rated, most people realise he aint ready for a world title shot just yet but give a few more fights and he could be.
Not being negative to khan but itv hype him alot on the tv saying hes got this and that when sometimes he doesnt.
They said khan was doing very well then suddenly bang hes down on a slap wtf was that? that really is bothering me.
Good luck to khan though but dam warren knows to back off now or khan will get koed everyone hyped him intill the limond fight and now hes got more doubters cause of this fight.
what you on about, course they're gonna hype him considering they have a fight deal with him worth millions.
thats the point!! pacquiao is from the philippines but all his fights still goes to PPV here in the US....
what are you on about, only an idiot would think pacman brings more money to this fight then hatton.
1. look where manny is from, not many of them will have the cash to travel over, compared to hattons 15-20k fans, spending money in casinos/drink/cctv/tickets/merchandise/hotels
2. UK PPVs will generate shit loads of cash, america aint the only country with ppvs you know
manny brings 30% maximum to this purse, it's probaly more likely 25%. Hatton fought Lazcano and sold out a 60k seater stadium, do you think Manny could do that?
Aye but it's alot better when the fights signed and sealed, that way we can egt on with the build up rather then listening to this shit.
TBF to Manny i can't see this really being down to him, more Arum.
Eubank, at RNAS Prestwick had about an hour with him, he was doing some charity stuff, awesome guy.
Michael Watson, In London at lords when I was doing Military escorting for a test match (read watching the cricket for free).
Ricky Hatton, paid to go to one of his dinners, was very entertaining, he is doind another down the road from me tomorrow with Frank Bruno but I couldn't get tickets.
Dude! I've literally just rang up about the one tommorow!! There's still tickets available, i really wanna go but i can't find anyone to go with. £25 at plymouth pavillions, i'm gonna be gutted if i miss out.

You stupid ****. Clearly you have never boxed a day in your life if you think moving up weight classes doesn't affect you much. Sure Pac can do it but Pacs unique, Rickys still a good fighter at 147 but he's better at 140, what the **** is so hard to understand about that? Everyone can see it so Ricky isn't making excuses (Plus he's said he'll willing move upto 147 if the fights there)
Always makes me laugh when people say shit like 'Hatton would of lost if not for that KD' What aload of rubbish, Hatton would have beat Mayweather if he had landed with that big right in the 4th'
It's true, everyone was like 'Yea **** off Floyd' when he retired but now look at boxing. it's alot worse without him.
It's the same with Ricky Hatton, everyones like 'Yea **** off you fat brit, no-one cares if you retire' What aload of bollox.
Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather, 2 of the biggest personalitys in boxing. You'll miss them when they're gone.
You know what, looking back Graham was a ****ing awful trainer.
The body bag wasn't very good. He smoked during training!! He wasn't in good shape.
Ricky isn't lying when he says his new camps changed him, or that this camp has been his best ever. Ricky Hatton is a brilliant boxer who would have made it whoever was training him. He just didn't want to leave the trainer he began with (Which is understandable, especially as he was unbeaten)
right here....Haye is a hype job.
The guy almost got Koed by a guy who's been a shadow of his former self since 2002. not to mention that it took him 5 ****ing rounds to finish his ass. Even Couser did a better job. (though he lost the rematch).
No wonder Vitali is now going ape shit and wants a fight with Haye.
I'm actually starting to hate vitali because his only goal is to ruin the HW division. He doesn't want to unify shit...he just wants the monopoly of the division with his brother... Vitali was smilling yesterday because he knows he'd annihilate that guy..
Haye is a fun and entertaining guy but he also happens to be pretty deluded. I'd love to see him fight wlad though. Because he has a chance against him.
If he actually beats wlad at least it'll add a tiny suspense (before he gets killed by vitali)
Nearlly got KOd? hahahahah, you clearly know nothing about boxing if you're doing it on some 'triangle shit'
right , it's an exaggeration but don't hahahah me. He looked like utter shit against a guy who's a 2002 has been. Vitali will have fun with the kunt...and annihilate him. vitali only wants to ruin the hw division.
2002 has been who beat a fairly decent HW in 57 seconds only his year?
and he didn't look 'utter shit' wtf are you talkin about? He knocked him down 5 times in 5 rounds, not bad for only your second fight at HW.
****in morons.
All the lighter divisions. You think back to your college class....i bet you had 30 odd people who could fight lower then Welterweight and maybe the odd 1 who could fight any higher.
If Hatton beats Paulie well he's the only fight i could see him coming back for.
Hatton vs Mayweather at Wembley would be HUGE. 100,000+ would be in the stadium.
That's the biggest money fight for him.
Hatton imo.
30K for maweather was incredible, wherever he fights he'll have more fans.
seriouq q, which fighter from the states woud get a dcent follwing abroad? there doesn't seem to be a stand out 1
People want to see him loose because he's cocky but he's gotta win to save the HW division if you ask me.
Any boxing fan should want him to win, especially with MMA going the way it is.
The next fight that will see that kinda hype is Pacman v. Mayweather.......
Hatton v. Mayweather 2.......Pacman v. Hatton....
Agree with that, Oscar - Hatton would be big but they're good friends so the build up wouldn't be great as in rivals
The thing about Hatton - Mayweather was it got the normal person intrested. I remember being in town waiting to get in a club the night before the fight and everyone in the que was singing 'THERE'S ONLY ONE RICKY HATTON!' it was crazy! everyone was talking about it, everyone was watching it.
Floyd played his part in the build up (Playing the cocky, hated knob) I'm pretty sure it's all an act, you see him on that dancing programmee/on interviews outside of boxing/when he aint got a fight coming up and he seems to be a decent guy however he hypes the fights real good (gets everyone hating him, therefore people buy it in hope of seeing him kod) though i think he can go ott (go watch that footage where floyd and ricky meet in the cafe...it was quite cringeworthy watching him acting up.
Here's some of the footage, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUqI_3bST_g
There's another couple minutes on the DVD and he acts real stupid, it was embarrasing.
I prefer boxing but there's abit of truth in what he's saying. MMA is a new sport (As in it's just really got mainstream)...boxing has never had to compete against it.
The problem is, MMA is more appealing to the younger/fighting fans. If you had 2 unknown boxers fighting and 2 unknown mixed martial artist fighting, a casual fan would rather watch the MMA as it's shorter/more action.
Also the UFC are putting on big shows every month, with big fighters fighting all the time. Also you never get the big fighters ducking each other as it's all done on a ranking system and if you want to be champion you HAVE to fight whoever. In boxing you have so many fighters scared of loosing, therefore the promoters feed them easy fights. You look in the UFC and all the top fighters have a few defeats on there record, why? because they're always putting the top fighters against each others.
Boxing needs to get rid of all the belts and just have 1 big one. How amazing would that be? They also need to make a ranking system (like UFC) where if you refuse to fight someone you loose the belt.
