Following who go to the actual fight.... Hatton. It's mad the amount of people who travel from the UK to see him fight.
Following in general.... Pacquiao. He has a whole country behind him.
Following of casual US boxing fans.... De La Hoya. He creates those PPV dollars, I don't understand how but he does.
Worldwide it's probably Pacquiao, he's known and followed from one side of the world to the other.
Again so is Hatton? I know Pac props has a bigger following world wide, but I think Hatton pushes it close?
I'll say Pacquiao. The Philippines has more people than England...he's also a bigger star there than Hatton in England.
I wouldn't be surprised if people worship to a statue of Pacquiao there.
Im going to correct you, don't you mean Britain, or the United Kingdom rather than England? We are an actual Country you know!
Hatton imo.
30K for maweather was incredible, wherever he fights he'll have more fans.
seriouq q, which fighter from the states woud get a dcent follwing abroad? there doesn't seem to be a stand out 1
Mike Tyson, He could box in hell and the Devil himself wouldnt be able to go because the fight would still be sold out
tough one.... i guess i'd have to go with Pacman, he almost like a god over in his country...... i mean its really crazy
but the way Hatton is able to bring that many fans from Britain and the PPV #'s and attendance DLHs fights have are both astonishing too

are u a Man Utd fan or something????? how can u be a proper fan if u don't go to the fights??? just like all those cockneys say they are Man Utd fans when they've never even been to Manchester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......ur full of shit mate
Be fair. I'm a fan and 'go to the fights' in the UK when I can, but that doesn't mean I have the money to go watch Hatton fight in Vegas - or Manila. Not without getting divorced, defaulting on the mortgage, sending the kid to school in bare feet and starving the dog, anyway.
Hatton imo.

probably because they cant be arsed getting passports
I would have to say pac becuse he is the man right now and hi popularity transends ethnic lines as does oscar but not to the extent. everybody talks about pac as he is pure entertainment. By the way I think he has a decent shot at beating oscar mainly because of speed. I don't know if pac can really hurt oscar but it should be really interesting and competative. Then again oscar gave floyd a great fight that as close so we will have to see should be very intertaining because oscar cannot just walk in and mannys feet are quick enough not to allow him to ge trapped by oscar.
I think De La Hoya does. His PPV buys speak for themselves. He has one of the most recognizable names in the sport.
20,000 people wouldn't FOLLOW dlh to england to watch him fight. people wouldn't even follow him to mexico to watch him fight. Put dlh vs margarito in mexico and dlh fans are out numbered!
I have to go with hatton hands down!
Hatton imo.
